Title: How can I find my bottle neck
Post by: aar on December 12, 2017, 02:29:05 PM
Bought a new setup. G3900 cpu, 4gb ram and a 6x RX580s

Flashed bios and added some small clocks

I get 30mhs on 2 cards when alone in the machine.

Once I add another 2 cards,  all drop back to 27.

I am using claymore,  ethos and have a 1300W PSU

Anybody else had similar? How can I check if im bound by cpu or memory?

did you increased your virtual memory to more than 16 gb?
and cpu and ram does not matter much in mining
4gb ram and two core pentium cpu must be sufficient for a mining rig

How is everything powered?  Do you have 4 risers on one molex/sata cable or something similarly stupid?
