If you have $100.00 as your total investment , what will you do , invest all in altcoins ? and which one.

I would spread it in this way:
50% in bitcoin
40% in solid and consolidated cryptocurrencies like ethereum, dash, monero
5% in altcoin, where you can make a short term investment and also do trading if you are able to
5% in ICO (I personally suggest you to follow the ICO that will be done from the Gilgamesh (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2162600.0) project, I think that this project can have a bright future and can bring a lots of advantages to the industry where they are trying to innovate)

spend it on 3 coins,

1 top 10 coin (like eth or dash or monero or litecoin)
1 in the top 10-100

and go wild with the other 1 in the hope it will go up quick (my advise would be footy cash(xft), promising roadmap for the next 3 months and might go up big time if they can complete the roadmap properly... do your own research though but it has been very profitable for me so far)

always look into the community and the project itself.

Are you stupid? the 5% of 100$ is just FIVE DOLLARS, where are you going to invest that money? The fees are going to eat all the money.

Regarding to the OP's question, dont invest that money, you are not going to be able to earn nothing, one hundred dollars is just a shame if you are going to invest in cryptos.

Just go to a bank and tell them that you want to invest $100, they will just laugh on your face.

Try to get at least $500 or $1000 to consider it as a real investment.

I would say, trade with it. 100$ is a pretty small amount of money, even if you invest them and your coin make x10, you would have only 1000, and a lot of time lost. I had the same amount of money at the very beginning, I tried to make them 200 by trading and at the same time worked at the big world to earn and invest some more. By the time I invested more I already understood something in the field of crypto and it became easier for me to go forward.

invest the 100 in one good bottle of scotch and some cigarres and take the chance to think about other ways to make good money

i think i should trade on etherdelta, with that $100 i'll try to buy some tokens and hold it, but i shall do analyze the token like PPT, VERI, EBTC etc. i think it will be easier to trade token with that amount of funds. if trading altcoin, it should be difficult to buy good altcoin with $100, because average the good coins is which has good price, and altcoin market is absolutely need more than $100 to trade in.

I would definitely buy and trade altcoins with that amount. Though it's not that huge, i think that's enough to make it grow. For that, i can acquire more btc and eventually slowly make it grow. $100 for investment will not go anywhere. And i don't think they will accept it. So I'd rather gamble it on trading. At trafing, theres no minimum amount of altcoins you want to buy.


You're kidding right? I wonder how can you manage to buy those altcoins with that amount of capital. The fee alone could eat huge percentage on your $100 capital. I would buy only one altcoin on that amount. Goodluck with that.

best option to invest 100 usd in altcoins like dogecoin, bytecoin and new coins which have low avaible supply and their rate is like 0.00001 usd

putting 100 dollar in bitcoin is useless, only the fee itself almost goes to 100 dollar sometimes lol

invest half in LTC and other half in WAVES, IOTA,RIPPLE any other alt coins and icos

If I do have that I've divide it in half. 50% BTC and 50% ETH. I only trust these two coins as of now. I won't be investing in ICOs because I don't have time to research for a good ICO just yet, probably if I have another $100 then I'll think about it.

funny people make you invest with bitcoin with that small amount of money, fees too high  for that and the gains will be so little since bitcoin price is so high. Better buy some promising coins that ranges from 0 - 5$ coin, like Aion , IOTA , and etc. hodl for long term or you could do day trading but it's risky you could lose everything.

One interesting about crypto currency is ;no money is small and no money big.You can still invest the 100 usd by targeting potential altcoins under one dollar.Purchase abd HODL.who knows it might moon in some few years down the line

That's the good go, I too will go with such plans. Here the capital available is low with which one cannot make a big profit until he's lucky enough to select a coin that keeps on showing 1000% growth in lesser time period. Based on the same its better to invest into an altcoin with value less than an USD.

For me it will be only top10 coin like:
25K bitcoin
25k LTC
25K Ethereum
keep 25K for any new token that might be huge

In my opinion buy BTC or ETH and then trade it with other altcoin, just doing short trade by take profit 20%-30% do not greedy because the price of BTC and ETH strong uptrend. Buy at low price in the deepest with patient and sell high will promising consistent.profit and dont forget to use cut loss strategy when the price continue down.

I would research the upcoming ICO's and find the ones that looks really solid, then I would look for the ones that sell out the pre sale in record time and then buy them during the ICO if it shows the same sort of momentum.

With that little amount of investment money, I would definitely invest it in cryptos and I would diversify. I would invest in different coins, most of my investment would be in bitcoin. Probably 50% of my investment would be in bitcoin, and the rest would be divided in different altcoins. My personal choice would be ethereum, litecoin, monero, dash, waves, and ripple. If there are other promising coins out there, I would definitely invest on it.

For $ 100 you should invest in Altcoin
If $ 100,000 then you have a lot of options! 50% for BTC and 50% for all Altcoin from #2 to #20 in coinmarketcap

Buy low prices and sell on expensive. Wait again for collapse and sell again At expensive price. Until your investment grows first and you can invest in bitcoins. Of course there are some obstacles before you can do that and that's the collapse that you have to overcome. When that works well first. sure trading is easy for you.

I would invest 50% in Litecoin, 25% in Ethereum, another 25% in Bitcoin.
Or you can just invest everything in Litecoin, as the Litecoin technology coincides with Bitcoin's technology. So I think Litecoin growth will be the same as the growth of Bitcoin.

I support you. But many crypto-currencies with low market capital or do not grow in price, or simply disappear from the market.
But if you choose the right currency or just guess it, you can very well multiply your capital. ;)

I would invest in a top coin that has less than $400 mil valuation. Find one that you like and believe in, preferably one that offers a new service that the top 10 coins don't offer, or offers privacy features. Sit and wait, and watch your money go.

For a much safer bet, invest in Litecoin. It's still got about 10x more to grow, in my opinion.

yes i will invest it to an altcoin that is good on its price like DASH ETH or LTC.   or maybe altcoins that might have a good future in the coming years like electroneum or ethersport.

I don't think it's pointless at all to invest with $100, I think people here are just gatekeeping. I invested ~$200 in ETH and LTC earlier this year before they boomed and that quickly turned into a few grand that I could then invest. If that was absolutely all I had I'd do 40% Then split the other %60 between coins like IOTA, RIPPLE, WAVES, etc that have the potential to blow up. Then just HODL and hope for the best. $100 is just sunk cost, bet on it turning into more.

$100 is morelikely will be used only for your transaction fees,thats why i wont recommend to invest that,maybe you can get with a decent amount to trade,because exchanges has high transaction fees.

Normally, it is better to divide the money for the investments. But I don't think that $100 is a suitable amount to divide. In my opinion, ethereum or bitcoin are the best choices.

I think I trust more with Ethereum, maybe this is my compound. 50% Ethereum 30% Bitcoin and others are top altcoins that are currently good and certainly have potential

Do some research and see what's new coming to all the coins. Pick the one with the best things to arrive

The amount of course is not significant and if you play on short stakes, then there is a chance to fill in a month later, I think 1k $ well, and then multiply 2 times in a month. But you must have an analytical mindset)))

Would be better if you go with bitcoin. It is on a big dumb and might be the right time to invest for a long term of it. As of now it is still steadily increasing and alts are still bleeding cant risk that much money to begin with bleeding alts. But if you go for 50/50 investments im sure your gonna manage it somehow.

i would considered investing it on one of the Following.

> LTC (Litecoin)
> ETH (Ethereum)
> NEO ( NEO which is known before as Antshare)
> IOTA
 
im considering holding all of this for 4 to 5 years or longer of  time.

these are my top altcoins to be pick and HOLD for a long time of period
i believe on the Project of these all , and i believe this will take flight sooner
and will be next great deal next to Bitcoin, some of the Coins i mentioned
are old time coin next to BTC such as LTC and ETH this two are far better than
Bitcoin in terms of many ways but not on price surely Bitcoin would be the King
for he is the first root of all cryptocurrency without him nothing exist also
for all concept of digital currency came to Bitcoin.

From my opinion with $100 u couldn't invest in anything because the rate of exchange is too high now maybe you could buy some eth but the invest that you put there not optimal. If i were you i will invest on the new ico, most of ico sale their first token with some bonus and the token price some of them under $1. But you should analysis the ico first, will the ico have an opportunity to success or not because if not you will throw away your money without gain anything.

This is very risky because amount is very less and he can lost very quickly McAffee's announcements also cannot safe better need to do some research and then use his money wisely in few coins right now many coins giving profit even is less but still good for going big in future

Try to catch very cheap alt coins like SC and invest your money 100 usd into that cheap coin. Whenever it increase very much, sell it and wait for it to get lower and then buy again. You can try this swing trading cycle to make a lot of money.

I'm new to the game but have been reading up on info as much as I could. I really like what I've been reading about ripple, so that's where I may put my first investment in. Just like you, I'm looking to get my feet wet with $100.

I would take half of it out and buy myself an apartment. With the rest i would continue to invest it in promising projects. I dont think it will be that hard to come back to initial portfolio.  

I would invest in one or two promising altcoins like Ripple, IOTA, Cardano, Waves, Verge and NEO. All of them cost not that much, grow pretty good and proved their stability. Bitcoin costs too much and has unpredictable and low growth rate, so I'd better forget about it for now.

I would split it up and get altcoins that are under 5-7$. Wait for the prices to rise and try to make your 100 into 200 or more.

Invest in low marketcap coins which has futures,do research theres a lot in the market.

No, I will split them into atleast 3 Altcoins namely Etherium, Oyster Pearl, and or maybe Litecoin. But if you want free. You can also do the new ICOs. Most of them gives a reward when you join them. Collect those rewards and use as investment for your chosen Coin.

I would go 50/50 on Litecoin and Neo. This two alts have massive potential.

If I had $ 100,000. 50000 I would definitely not invest in cryptocurrency because it is very risked . And for the rest I trade on all coin  and not tied to specific coins.

I think all investments have different risks and there are also profitable investments, if you do not want to take too much risk, you can invest in top altcoins, it reduces the risk of investment

You are right. But I would also postpone a part and invest in a different sector at all, because keeping all the money in one place is silly
