I was wondering why everybody is saying that the Ledger Nano S can support just 4 Apps. On my Ledger I can store 6 apps, do you know why? Have a nice enveing, F Title: Re: 6 Apps on Ledger Nano S ?!? Post by: RGBKey on December 12, 2017, 10:20:34 PM I don't know for certain but I believe it's because certain apps take up more/less space, and the ledger has a fixed amount of memory, not on the number of apps it can hold.
Title: Re: 6 Apps on Ledger Nano S ?!? Post by: HCP on December 13, 2017, 05:13:32 AM Yeah, it all depends on your choice of apps... I believe the Fido "U2F" app is one of the larger ones. Depending on the specific combination, you'll get 4-6 apps on there before you need to uninstall one to (re)install another.
Note that uninstalling an app does NOT delete your wallet or coins etc... you can simply reinstall the app and that specific coins wallet will be fully accessible again with the same addresses/transactions/coins etc :) Title: Re: 6 Apps on Ledger Nano S ?!?
