How to get USDE-x other than swapping, I don't hold old USDE? Is an exchange the only option?

From what I understand there will be bounties and USDE-x will be listed on exchanges soon for purchase.

So is this coin the "successor" coin of a previously defunct coin? Or is it like an alternative version or some kind of fork like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash? Is the old USDE still there and tradable?

to be honest and to put it bluntly i am sure they will not add this coin,
it is not an easy matter to get listed on Bittrex because they have a SEC behind them.
which mean they are strictly choose the participant that want to get listed in there.
there are a lot of projects and coins that had a lot of potential other than this for example Bitcoin Core(BTX) and others.
but they declined it due to 'some reason'.
so it is totally impossible to get listead in there,at least for now.

Yobit still lists the old USDE coin. We tried to work with them to switch over, but they would not respond to us. USDEX is a new chain, not a fork. We wanted to keep the ideals of USDE and create an updated coin with the newest tech to bring it into the current state of Cryptos.

We appreciate your candor and your opinion. We don't think it is impossible to get listed anywhere. Tough? Yes. Impossible? No. We have established who we are and a couple of us are enhanced users on Bittrex. We are working toward legal status in the US and establishing a business entity of some sort. Right now, our Discord channels are the most popular. We hope to have everyone plugged in to all of our social media access points.

We have been working on getting onto multiple exchanges. HitBTC and Bittrex being our first lines. Lots of other exchanges can be bought into, but we feel our project is one that can get listed without a buy-in.

We don't think USDEX will be a competitor for USDT. Two different concepts. We want to be the coin/network that unifies all the coins and allows all networks to communicate between each other.

Why do not you consider Etherdelta for the first listing? This is the simplest solution and the ability to enter the market.

I also drew attention to this. But, as it turned out, this is not entirely true. USDEX has another ideology. Take the same Cross-Chain Technology that Tether does not have. This is indicated in the WP document on the project site.

Yes it does, when you want to list a coin to a GOOD exchange it costs a lot of money. in 2014 this wasn't that much of a problem but most exchanges want to be paid a lot of money today. You need to start somewhere

Metallicelmo is right. It was much easier in 2014 to get a coin listed. It was new and every coin was pit somewhere. Fast forward to today and exchanges have grown, and with their growth, have become more scrutinizing, at least the good ones have.

We have applied to a lot of exchanges in the last couple weeks, but everyone wants some fee to list us. Cryptopia, for instance, wants the equivalent of 25BTC to list on their exchange. Now, this might be because of market factors right now and the cost of their DOT is so high, but that is a lot of BTC.

We need financing to get listed on a reputable exchange with traffic. An ICO makes perfect sense to gain those funds while expanding our coin holder base.

I can't even copy the wallet address, how the hell are you supposed to deposit money?

3. Select the coins you wish to deposit.
4. Enter the coin amount in the gray box. Make sure it is over $20 USD.
5. Click Submit.

Staking can occur with any amount of coins. It is just how long your amount of coins take to stake and gain a reward. Your amount of coins will be compared to the entire network and rewards will be distributed on the basis of coin amount in the wallet and age of the coins. We set our staking up as follows:

USDEX coin utilizes a variable PoS rate that will be given periodically payout as per following list,

1st 6 months -> 60% (10% per month)
2nd 6 months -> 50% (8% per month)
3rd 6 months -> 40% (7% per month)
4th 6 months -> 30% (5% per month)
5th 6 months -> 20% (3% per month)
6th 6 months -> 10% (1.4 per month and ongoing.)

For clarification:

  If you see that we still have USDEX available on the coin sale website, but cannot buy any, let me explain what happened. We started Stage 2 last Friday, January 12th and uses Coinpayments as our payment processor. Things were going well until Saturday night into Sunday Morning when Coinpayments decided to do a maintenance/upgrade without fore-warning us. Their system was down for a bit and then when they came back online, the transactions were backed up and awaiting confirmations. We checked out sale website and showed that our system was working well. We continued to monitor both sites to make sure everyone's transactions were going through and to try and head off problems before they happened.

 Unfortunately, there were some delays in transactions and confirmations. In an effort to make sure everyone who submitted before we sold out, and then suffered delays, got the coins they wanted, we made sure we had enough USDEX to cover everyone by adding more to the coin sale pile. Once the system had seen that we had sold our original allotment, it stopped accepting deposits. However, with the Coinpayments system being so delayed, some transactions were in a state of flux with the system.

The coin sale is over and we are in the process of making sure our system is in agreement with what the Coinpayments system has. This may take a couple days, but we will help everyone through the finishing process. We thank everyone for their support and patience and if you have questions or concerns, please join our Discord groups and we will address them.

Please see what is with the wallet. Do not open the settings. It freezes and then turns off. We have already written about this earlier, but there are no solutions, except for demolition and installation. Several times I removed completely and restored. Does not help.

I have tested USX only current exchange coinhouse.eu now and well... at least it works. You can set up an account in a second, deposit coins, make trades and even get your money back from there. So surely better than nothing at all at this point.

I had the old coins USDE, that were listed on Yobit, on my own wallet and exchanged that to the new
swapped coin USDEX on 8-1 this year. My wallet USDEX is version: v1.0.0.0-g32a928e1.0.4

Now I see that the new coin is listed on TradeSatoshi as "USX" and not "USDEX" as I expected.
has there been another swap that I am not aware of or has another code for listing been used for
some other reason ?

Great news seeing another exchange for USX, now let's hope we will be able to list on an exchange that is connected to coinmarketcap, that will launch the possibility of the coin getting listed on other exchanges as well and finally be able to be added to coinmarketcap itself

We are awaiting listing on Yobit. The fee is there and we are waiting for them.

Cryptopia wants 5M DOT to list a coin. At a current price of 260sat (at the time of this post), that would be 13BTC.

As for CoinExchange, I have to go back and see what they wanted.

by the way, i read the website and have yet to visit the twitter account. i like it that unlike most other coins out there, with usdx the devs and team are active and respond to people's questions. one more thing: somehow i believe that this coin has huge potential for growth in the future. i don't think many are aware of USDX?  but once more people start hearing about it, they'll be wanting to invest in it. i am sure.

There are a lot of coins/tokens out there now. It's hard to find one in a sea of coins. We are trying to distinguish ourselves by being transparent and available to talk with users and answer all questions in a timely and professional manner.

So, I got my first ancient gridseed asic miner as a fun hobby in cypto and USDE-X was the best coin out of all the other scrypt coins i tried. I like the fast blocks because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I see rewards every few minutes from mining unlike other coins that take hours to days to find a block.
I think in my opinion this coin has a bright future so imma keep doing it.

Honestly, it's not economical to mine USX with a CPU or GPU with it being Scrypt Algorithm. The best gear to use is a Scrypt Asic Miner like the Moonlander 2 or Antminer.

Journey Into the Unified Society

By a quick introduction my journey into the crypto world began after a discussion with a friend in November 2017 when I was told that he had bought 4.5 Bitcoin for about $5,000.00 in March of 2017.  It was now worth quite a bit more (That was an understatement if you missed it).  It takes guts to put that much down when you have a little as my friend did.  Guts I did not have at the time.  Fast forward to the beginning of December 2017 and I was overcome by FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), not guts but fear.  So, I made an account on Coinbase and started throwing money into the crypto markets.

From this point I started researching various coins with absolutely no idea what I was looking at.  I settled on Ripple, a well know crypto token, and yes there is a difference between coins and tokens, but I did not know that yet.  My first taste of the crypto world was to make 4-times my money in less than two weeks.  At this point I sold my Ripple and started working into other exchanges in order to obtain the next best thing.  In order to invest in other coins I needed to join other exchanges which created many logins and passwords and computer time (lots of computer time).

Again fast forward and in January 2018 and my second taste of the crypto world was the crypto crash journey where I lost aobut 80% of what I had.  I learned a lot about crypto and myself at this time.  The most important thing I discovered was not to panic sell (learned from experience) and to research coins and tokens before investing.

This is where USX enters in and my journey into the Unified Society.  I was new to Discord or rather it was new to me.  I had received an invite to join the USX discord from some unknown person.  I put it off for a week or two but then joined.  That was the best thing that could have happened to me.  So much information was shared from all corners of the world as well as the all important Developers (Devs). 

I could talk about how fast USX is, the Web Wallet, or the cross-chain technology or the hybrid nature of the coin (POW and POS).  Further I could speak about the limited 232 million total coins of which almost 200 million are already in circulation or Atomic Swaps or UEX the exchange token that will be used as a trading pair on the future exchange.  But all that has been covered by many others in articles, websites and on the discord channels with much greater clarity than I can give.

What I really want to mention is the incredible USX community that is found on Discord, Twitter and Telegram.  People from all around the world discussing the same topic (USX) with very often one mind.  Always present somewhere on the Discord channels are the USX Discord Moderators (Mods) and Devs.  The Mods and Devs are extremely helpful, always assisting with questions and issues, clarifying statements with an honesty that is rarely found in the crypto world.  They are extremely transparent all the way to the point of disclosing their identities on the USX website (www.unifiedsociety.org) and they answer questions on Discord with equal transparency.

The beauty of the Discord channels is that you can actually be the proverbial “fly on the wall” and listen in on the conversations.  I have “watched” interchanges between the founders, developers and moderators with the community and each other that have displayed true character, openness and honesty.  Don’t be fooled character does matter.  I trust this development team completely.  They truly believe in USX, the future UEX/Exchange and what they are building.  They are in this project with all their heart, mind and soul.  Likewise much of the community is very similar.  The future of the USX coin, UEX token and Exchange are bright indeed ... Full Moon Bright.

Unfortunately no, we are not on the timeline with the cross-exchange platform. We are waiting for things to get a little better in the btc world before starting that up again :)

Totally understandable for a relatively small coin like USX. It's a pretty big project and goal. Just needs time to grow slowly and could use a little help from a real Bitcoin bullrun. You just never know when that will be but that will surely help eventually.

Hello- Sorry for the late reply. We are still active in the project. As you can imagine, we are evaluating our path forward. The recent downturn has left people scrambling about what to do with their crypto holdings. We are working with an enhancing our technical papers and still reviewing our plans for an exchange/social crypto platform as well as other services. The path forward is dependent on a few issues, not the least is crypto sentiment among the global population. We continue to be active on our discord channel and look forward to new members and their ideas/suggestions.
