What is the best option for 6 months investment . BTC , ETH and Other Coins going price up continuously. What do think,which coin is good to Hold 6 months ?

in my opinion, eth is now at its peak so many people who use it for transactions, but btc is also at the top, but did not rule out eth can offset btc.

ETH has risen tremendously in the past week, I think it will continue to rise, but relatively slowly. Ripple seems to be doing well, I think it's going to have a great performance in 2018. I want to be hopeful about IOTA as well, but its development hasn't been like I expected so far.

Bitcoin has always been increasing much more than ethereum and the other altcoins, with other "altcoins" i think that you mean about Monero, Litecoin, Dash, Ripple, and so on.

But the price in bitcoins of those alts has been much more higher before, and this is why you are probably lossing a lot of money  if you bought those altcoins at the moment.

As an example, if you hadn't bought ethereum on July, now you could have 0.12 btc per each eth (more than $2200)

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are great goins and no matter what they will worth much more in six months. So i don't see any harm investing and holding these two coins. Of course you can invest in some good alt coins aswell , like waves and ripple. All 4 of these coins are very good long term investments.

Best is less than 1$ range is better to invest at 2018. ETH is also so good to invest.

I don't know that six months is a long-term or not, but in my opinion, ethereum and bitcoin are the best choices for long-term.

Some altcoins can bring good profits with daily trading, for that, you should follow the price of the coins.

For me this can be consider for a long term by holding a certain coins. I have high believes on btc and eth for investment you will not feel disappointment in this coins. Just proper investment may lead to success in the future.

6 months is good and long for newbies and you don't have to choice between bitcoin and ETH, they are good both contenders for holding that long.

And what do you mean by other coins? If you think that you have to add some other alts on your portfolio, go with IOTA and Zcash.

Bitcoin and ETH can also be good for holding for more than 6 months also I forgot to add Litecoin.

I think eth potency is better than Bitcoin, because bitcoin has triggered things we never thought about before. . .

You have answered it yourself that very coin is going up now a days and I think there is versatile kind of coins from which we can literally choose to invest our money. I mean its just about the time that they all will pop into some great ETH and some good BTC really. :-) All you have to do is just keep patience and make healthy wealth out of it. !

For your consideration you can study the signals for XRP, IOTA, Waves, and BCH really. Two of them are centralised one so no question about them, it will take time for them but they will pop really. Otherwise there are many of the top 10 coins you can choose from.

Bitcoin and Ethereum sure will keep increasing every day but i think u can find altcoins that can give u more profit than these two, My favourites are: Komodo, Ark and Genesis Vision.

I can suggest u to try altcoins because Bitcoin price max will reach to 100k this year and its mean 600% growing, but u have some altcoins that can have very big growing in 2018 like Stratis, Pivx, Verge..

BTC and ETH are the most stable ones. If you aim for crazy profits, you can also look the ones located in top 25 list of coinmarketcap. Other coins are risky compared to BTC and ETH.

I think, ethereum always saves your money and periodically will multiply;)

For me, the best option for 6 months investment is BTC or Bitcoin it has a great future and good history about that, the price of it was obviously getting high as fast as it could so if you have BTC, make your choice to hold it.

I think you should diversify with top 5 ones that will reduce the risk and constantly grow your investment too.

BTC is base currency in crypto market and number one position from day one of this market. There is Not any competitor to Btc. but it can be  possible in future . Ethereum is also a good coin and second leader of market.

we were surprised on how bitcoin pumped up in price. bitcoin is still the top. we can not also deny that ethereum is doing well, it rises up continuously. But if you would ask me the best option for 6 month investment, I would just choose another altcoin, maybe I can find more profit there than these two. 6 months is enough for an altcoin to pump up.There are also other promising altcoins there that are expected to boom this coming 2018.

Probably, many people will recommend you to select altcoins from the top 10 and will be right. And I, besides these altcoins, would advise you to pay attention to stratis, waves, eos, and SNT. In the future, these coins will give a good profit! :)

i would suggest choose ethereum or ETH, because it is the most stable coin in the crypto market and its price will keeps on increasing specially next year,its price will boom in the market.

I advise you to byu BTC and ETH and  few percent 5-15 (LTC, NEO, EOS, Cardano, LRC).

Here is my fundamental question concerning BTC vs ETH. Which can double in value the quickest? As of this writing, BTC = $19,428 and ETH = $718. Will it be easier for BTC to hit $40,000 or will it be easier for ETH to hit $1400?

This past week, it seemed the growth rate of ETH has certainly outpaced BTC but can ETH keep up that rate of growth for a month or two?

for now, i  sugest btc, but if you want invest other coins, you can buy dogecoin as you can, and wait for 3-5 month.. you will get double.

ETH. It grows steadily and it offers something valuable bitcoin doesn't offer.

I've been drown for about 2 and half months focusing in bitcoin alone and for get about other crypto. As I take a look to my portfolio I see a tremendous increase of ETH, Bitcoin cash price is not bad but it decrease a bit, Ripple are doing good and gladly its performance well take again next year. Dash is really taking it on rush to BCH hahaha....

But still in my opinion It is good to invest in ETH or in top 5 to 10 crypto. Divide your investment.

Bitcoin is common for us hodl is profitable investment, for the second choice for long term hodling investment ill go for ethereum and statis i think both of them have potential to grow in the market specially the ethereum.

The extraordinary of btc it was started in a very simple way. People doesn't believe on it. Little by little it was known in one place. One place to another place. Until such time btc is all over the world through technology breakthrough. The same in Eth from low price and growing.

If you are not so sure which to invest, why not pick all and make a portion of your money to go through different kinds of coins. In that way you are confident enough if BTC falls, then you have your reserves to back-up most of yours loses in BTC. Now if things go wrong (like most your of your invested coins go down) then it's a farewell, but don't worry, most holders within 6 months have gained enough profits. You'll just have to be very careful in picking the right time of the dip, good luck.

I personally prefer to invest in ethereum, because it is seen that the price is now possible to be a long-term investment. especially at the end of 2018 the price will increase according to my estimates of $ 1300- $ 1500.

The safest coin to invest is btc, btc has proven itself through the chart, eth also good for long term but it not grow as good as btc, for other  coins I am not recommend it, because the price ia very fluctuative and some of the coin can go up once in a while and drop down quickly to a holea d never come back,  alt coin for long term is too risky

I am suggesting to buy bitcoin, ethereum and monero and hold it for a long term. we know bitcoin price will increase soon, this is the same with ethereum and monero too. from this coin list, only monero which is not yet increasing and many of us waiting for the price is up more than now. so I think it will be a good if we can buy some monero and wait a good time to increase.

Even with Eth having a higher% increase than btc in the last year I still do not believe that it is the best choice (it is going through a very turbulent transition phase, even with fewer transactions than btc the network was recently very congested and slow).

The best option I would choose would be btc, it is steadily rising and the chances of it falling its price is very small, recently it has been added to the American stock market and this will make its price explode now in that year of 2019, so for me it would be better than eth.

I think ETH is the best option to hold, since it is continuously improving in the market.

For investment, both bitokoyn and ETH are good now. Both coins will increase in price in the near future. Therefore, I would partially invest in bitcoin, and partly in ethereum. At this time, you just need to choose a good time to invest, because they both fluctuate in value. ETN is not so prone to volatility, and bitkoyn simply jumps in price for several thousand dollars.

I think no one can survive above or below. but if I observe that litecoins and ETH are pretty good today. and it will probably last 6 months.

Ether is best option am keeping ether holding as it is but am investing some more coins like paypie , aventus , Openax , Powe ledger which is increasing value rapidly and also having strong concept and active team . Recent DENT token given good profit for all investors including me .

For 6 months invest time, it is better to invest in potential coins like ETN.

if you have a lot of money to invest may be 40 percent on btc, 30 percent on ethereum and 30 percent on other coin like bitcoincash and litecoin, and i think ripple and ETN (electroneum) its a good coin for invest right now

Bitcoin is still the best investment for me even if the price is dropping today I am positive that sooner it will pump again and go even much higher than the last record it breaks, 6 months is a short time from which you can actually earn good from bitcoin investment, You can also try ethereum maybe 20% of your investment who knows if it will pump as much as bitcoin do you can also get a good income.

Bitcoin and ethereum have a good price for investment. Both continue to grow. But bitcoin is superior to eth. If I become you, I see how much capital I have. If a lot I would invest in btc, but if limited I would use eth. Both are equally beneficial.

I think all coins rose in the last 6 months. but not as high as bitcoin. it has an impact on more and more coin seekers and the difficulty to access.

Hmmm for me you can choose on bitcoin or ethereum sure it will keep the price go higher and higher. Ethreum is good to choose for holding atleast 6months because their price is increasing dramatically and invest now while the price is cheap for bitcoin we know the bitcoin also the price going higher now but the price of bitcoin now is lower than before i think this is the time to buy

I prefer to invest in other altcoins like NXT or XUC because the price is still cheaper compared to bitcoin or ethereum, so the income earned from investing in other altcoins is more.

If you have a lots of time and patience then investing with alt coins because it will take time and need a lots of study before you will be able to earn, while with btc and ETH they already have a lots of supports and placing your money with this two coins and wait for long term surely will give you good earnings. I think the coins you mentioned are pretty good, but I think the better coin among the others is BTC. Because BTC is the parent of all altcoins, so you should invest BTC if I think. But if for 6 months survive I think it's impossible, because there will be an increase and decrease every time and minute. so it will not last long until 6 months

Now in ICO stage good coin Darico(DRC), but in conventional coin it's BCC and ETH. BTC is very old for mining and problem now, but in price it's very strong... I think future at ETH or LTC...

To me investing in ETH is potentially viable than BTC because BTC has already achieve its growth potential for the period. ETH will soar to cover the gap within this period. These two are the major players. Other coins will be dancing around them.

Altcoins will give you a lot of profits more than that BTC and ETH can give you,ive been trading for 6months and i realized it after sometime alts gave me x1000 profits

bitcoin is good for short and longer term of investment. etherium is a stable coin that is also good for longer term of investment, you can then add other promising coins like ripple, bitcoincash, and iota to to be able to have a solid portfolio and at the same time while maximizing your potential gains. just remember , dont put all your eggs in one basket in order to avoid loosing that much if one of your chosen coin has failed and always make bitcoin as a primary source of investment and the rest are just additions for an even extra income because bitcoin cant always sustain you a substanial gains.

BTC and ETH is good choice and in my opinion there are many other some altcoin that has big potential like POWR, DATA, AION, OMG, WAVES, DASH. But I put my money most in AION because this project is very interesting and first in blockchain community. AION is third blockchain that will connect between different blockchain.

   Not sure where the period of 6 month lies, whether it is long or short term. But for me I'll lay the time factor aside and place more emphasis on the cryptocurrency to invest in. In my opinion I think Ethereum is a good choice. It has risen tremendously in the past week, I think it will continue to rise but relatively slow. You should also consider Dash (not to be confused with Dashcoin) too, cos that a currency with great potentials. Just my thought.
