I always thought that the mercatox website was extremely unprofessional looking, and as a result, only traded there once.  It reminds me of liqui and just gives me bad feelings.  I'm sure the exchange will be back, but perhaps you should question whether or not you trust your money there longer term.

Yep, seems they f*ked us. I'm using it to get rid of my POS tokens and I guess I will need to use ethertdelta instead.

If they come back, I will withdraw all my satoshis from there and I suggest you to do the same.

I do not like Mercatox also. They have to much down time and every time I am trading, they always deduct fees everytime I am setting orders. Like what?

I don’t think there is any scam until there are actually some Mercatox users reporting that their addresses are being emptied. I do hope that will not happen. Seems like a new scam going around every day.

Everything worked now, obviously there were problems with the servers after launching trades on a new coin.
For the future do not keep your funds on the stock exchange only cold wallet friends!  ::)

I believe he got scared especially if you have large portion of your portfolio on that exchange, this is not a big issue most of these exchanges have downtime even Bitfinex because the demand for their service is on high

I don't think it is scam just because of the 24 hour maintenance. It happened with bitgrail too. It's maybe because of the new coins added to the exchange and their servers just need to upgrade.

Luckily, I have only one coin in Mercatox...after they came back up, I sold it all and left with my 0.03 BTC.  LOL  Small amount but it is invested in another coin at Binance now.

Agreed that Mercatox website looks like trash but I don't think they are a scam. Nevertheless I've only used them once and won't be using again after I buy and move my Raiblocks.

In my opinion that just like a website that creates a kid and why as you can see how the website is not userfriendly. A lot of my friends are saying about too difficult to deposit in there and the webpage is not good.
Just pick your amount and move to another major exchange.

Because your beggar friends and yourself have no respect for an original work. mercatox is a good exchange, I registered recently to dump my POS tokens like our farmer friend a few posts above. lol.
Mercatox is a professional looking exchanging platform, they have their own shitcoin to pump and dump on people, like every body else, they were selling Ł for 0.017BTC and price of Ł was 0.018 on other places, I couldn't bother with buying them because of the Bitcoin transaction fees.

Those f*** are still down and my POS tokens are locked there. I lost few hundred because of this!

Anybody to know a working solution? I guess there is no way to access our funds until they decide so??

I don`t think Mercatox is megascam, but what we face now looks like little scamming. I think it`s directly connected with the recent XRB pump, and the service is not working NOT due to server problems

It`s not serious business in my opinion, hope this will not be repeated in future, though it`s just a hope :'(

How much you have money investing there? If the website of any project has been problem, i suggest to stay away from it. First experience and the last or you will be regret later

It will be alive again soon.  ::) The mercatox is an easy exchange for non ico token to be listed in there. Raiblock and ethereum gives huge volume to the exchange site. I hope there will be an improvement to the site. It has explained by the developers. The site down due to the ddos attack. If you can't be patience and it may better to use another exchange site as alternative. But as long as you are still keeping your fund.

I use mercatox to sell my raiblock that I mine a few months ago, it works perfectly good for a shitcoin exchange in my opinion. It's too bad that it got DDOS... the same thing happened to Hitbtc today and now it's back online !

I am sure mercatox will be back too nothing to worry

LOL BS

I tried withdrawing my BTC and its on "processing" status for many days now. I sent a ticket days ago and they havent answered me. What a shitty exchange. Stay away from this exchange.

A close friend of mine said not to trust this site but despite him warning me I still created an account at Mercatox. So far, I haven’t got any problems with their site although a lot are complaining about their website constantly having maintenance. My take on this is, if ever you traded a certain coin which is pumping at that time, don’t withdraw your profits right away because as I have noticed the exchange sites usually is clogged up if there is a huge pump.

When I try to sell my POS it just logs out. Over and over again. I've just transferred them to MEW and worked perfect. Very strange...

is it true mercatox scam.? I've been using mercatox, so far I've never experienced anything bad about them. after reading this topic I will be more careful again, but I hope all of it will return to normal again

I think that its not scam website at all. Me and a friend together used it to sell our tokens in past like 6-7 months ago. But I think its bit problematic comparing to good exchanges like binance, bittrex or kucoin.

you are too quick to conclude that mercatox is fraudulent, until now the web is still normal and I think it will run long,is not it now a lot of long exchange in the process of website repair

The question is rather: why use Mercatox when there are at least another 30 better, larger, liquid and safe exchanges.
In it only 10 coins around make 100k $ of volume per day .... everything else is impossible to exchange, because maybe with $ 5000 you get up the price of 100%  ;D

In addition, the "minor coins" wallets are almost always maintained or not synchronized.
I do not think it is Scam but I strongly discourage its use, as well as exchange Yobit!

First rule to earn money: do not lose money!  ;)

Just a small exchange that sometimes has technical problems. I traded on Mercatox and I was fine.
