Another Bitcoin hard fork?  Apparently, it seems these Bitcoin hard forks are turning out to be no different from the scam ICO projects that are being churned out daily except no one is going to lose his cash to a fork in this case.

Meanwhile, there is not much information about this hard fork. What legacy bitcoin problem is it coming to resolve?

And the point of creating this fork is?  ::)

This is really getting to a point where forks will happen in the future just to get instantly dumped by the core members while it still holds any value at all and it is saddening to see the name of 'God' here when it becomes worthless. Lets hope all these stupid wannabes realize that creating money out of thin air by fooling people in believing in a fork of Bitcoin will stop.

This news is interesting. I liked the idea of combining cryptocurrencies and Christmas. A high profit is expected from this project.

So are any of the Saints planned to participate in this fork or it`s just God?
Well... in this modern times it is only logical to exploit Crypto Christmas like any other day... right?

Yeah, seems like a good way to get some gullible newbies to hand over their BTC private keys. I don't think anyone will make as much loot as the guys who made the fake BTG web wallet, though. I think the market for Bitcoin forks has peaked, so to speak.

Meanwhile, there is not much information about this hard fork. What legacy bitcoin problem is it coming to resolve?

Its main proponent is Chandler Guo (and he is the only reason it's worth mentioning at all). And all I've heard from him is "Bitcoin God to the moon!" "Something something Christmas gift." I'm not even sure it's trying to address a problem.

before end of this year we have like 7 fork to go, tight your pants and brave your self. take your free coin, you can decide later want to use it like full or not or just dump it as you get profit from it

I liked this news with a coin for Christmas. I think this will be an excellent gift for your loved ones, which in the future will bring them a profit. I hope this will be all fair, and not an attempt to steal access to the wallet.

But there is still no announcement from exchange websites. Even for super bitcoin as I know only binance announce for free SBTC. We got Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold without problem but new ones are not easy to get.

This sounds more like a joke than like a real fork. Now what will the dev of Jesuscoin think? A clash of cryptodivinities.

Bitcoin God, the name sounds great
But I wonder if this Bitcoin God has any real value or even some actual innovation, and if it doesn't, then it will not be worth it.

Completely agree with you that it is pointless to believe in bitcoin as a god.
This is the limit of idiocy of people I feel sorry for ((((
Bitcoin can still be kept afloat, but it will definitely collapse only when that's the question ....

Oh well see another new fork. At this point no one even cares about any new forks, how many new forks are coming maybe some 6 or 7. Not even one of them is going to become popular, it won't even come close to even bitcoin gold.

Bitcoin God this seems to be a Chinese thing rather than an Englishman, and is there any new innovation? Or just to cheat?

Another shitcoin. All those forks are just killing bitcoin slowly, and destroying crypto credibility.

Just keep it simple:
- If bitcoin can increase scalability and reduce electricity mining waste, it will stay the king of crypto.
- If bitcoin can't, it will die, and another coin will replace it. And it won't be a fucking fork taking over !

Nah, there is a difference between a shitcoin and a scamcoin. Shitcoin (like what this Bitcoin God supposed to be) is a grabage from the very beginning and people just gamble with that kind of stuff. While scamcoins (like bitcoin cash) always claim that they are legit af trying to add them a fake value aiming to scam someone. Shitcoins are less cruel.
Due to the lack of information about this coin it seems like it will worth satoshies right after the release.

I m not really sure why there are so many forks this year. Bitcoincash is barely holding now, bitcoingold is dormant, and the segwit2x was postponed. I think they are trying every luck to create another bitcoin so desperately that they have to insert bitcoin god before the year ends.

For some reason, no one is even interested in or discussing the question of what kind of advertised improvements the original bitcoin will have a new bitcoin god coin. Practically no information. I personally think that at least some alternative to the original bitkoyu need to create at least to ensure that there was some kind of competition between them. And then bitkoyn is lazy and will not improve.

This is funny, selling the project by the name of God. I am very sensitive when it concerning the name of God. What next? Bitcoin angel? Do you want to try to rival the bitcoin? We'll see, if the price is good may be a christmas gift, but if the opposite happens it will be alt garbage.

There are pretty much folks recently and I have no idea what to do with the coins received. However, receiving new gifts is nice though. Merry early Xmax everyone.

Thanks but I think this forking is not useful at all, we already got enough forking, and I am sure people will dump it as soon as they got the coin, but I am still grateful for the free money and usually this coin will make bitcoin price go up, because people will stock bitcoin to get the free coin

What is known about Chandler Guo and what is the motivation for this?

It is claimed that there will be no mining. So how is this coin going to work?

Merry Christmas everyone! Santa is giving us another fork this year!
With so many forks, we can have a large winter feast!

I don't know that much about coding, but can the fork be implemented automatically?
Or is it activated manually?
If it is manual, than that means these fools are working on Christmas Day to bring a fork that nobody has heard of, nobody wants, and nobody cares about.

And the wording is very arrogant, "BTC will be split"
Nah, this isn't splitting btc.
It's basically lazy and greedy devs copy and pasting Satoshi Nakamoto's revolutionary blockchain and adding a little change.
Then they get to name their shitcoin Bitcoin (insert dumb name here).

I guess I sound bitter, but the forks are what the scam icos are and as a whole, it damages our crypto economy rather than help it.

I do not think that it's a good idea to call the coin to be separated from bitcoin - bitkoyn god. If this coin does not succeed, it will not be a good name for it. In general, I personally do not mind the bitokoy plugs. The more such coins are formed, the higher the competition between them, and the sooner they will develop and improve. If some of them turn out to be unnecessary, they disappear according to the laws of the market, only the best will remain.

I expect this to happen but not like this, not in the very near future. It is expected that there will be bunch of hard forks off of Bitcoin that will materialize in the future. It is inevitable as this is a new way to create an altcoin that has a "connection" to BTC. But this specific coin made me cringe very hard. Like seriously, the devs of it will name it as bitcoin god? They need to take this naming schemes more seriously. I don't know what will be the use of this coin but any free money is always welcome.  ;D

This is just the start of thousands of bitcoin forks. Will make no difference in the long run. bitcoin god certainly sounds legit though, It will probably go to the moon on the way to heaven. I'm holding back funds for bitcoin Trump. It'll be Yoooge!

So these forks are now using the name of God in this play. Another Bitcoin wannabe to be born on Christmas day, those developers got a really good idea right there ;D. Well, we can't stop those forks coming, it's just sad how they broke the true essence and meaning of Bitcoin fork.

This news is interesting. I liked the idea of combining cryptocurrencies and Christmas. A high profit is expected from this project.
At the moment the idea may be interesting, but what will happen after all the New Year holidays? Will this fork be relevant, or will it be another useless branching ???

Haha he was so wrong. The split hasnot happened on Christmas around the world because he could not predict the correct block number for Christmas. What a mess.

Anyway, how come this thing is trading when the split has supposedly not happened yet??
