Title: My experience so far with TB 250 PRO BTC Post by: Cereberus on December 13, 2017, 09:45:22 AM I build the rig with a self made aluminum open air frame case and then fired up the board and installed the Win10 PRO my favorite OS for mining.
I updated bios to latest one which supports with Mining mode Enabled, 6xVGA or Above 6G(not needed for me as I only have 6 rx 570 4gb ), all PCIE to GEN1 including the PCIEX16 G4400 HYPERX 4GB RAM SSD KINGSTON CORSAIR HX 1000 W PLATINUM EFFICIENCY After changing a few risers finally managed to recognize all my 6 rx 570 cards. Problem is nor MSI Afterburner nor Sapphire Trixx can show settings for them, MSI shows 0 everywhere. Should I DDU but I am afraid if I reinstall drivers 6 cards will not be recognized again ? I haven't bothered trying Claymore GPU Cryptonight miner for Monero as it running stable with Winminer with 6 cards from 12 hours now.

6xRX 570 mining Ethereum with Winminer at wallet consumption is 970 watt with power meter. My PSU is only 1000 watt Corsair Platinum HX but it is running extremely cold even under such a heavy load. Conditions of the mining rig are perfect in the sense it has the best possible ventilation as I have put it in my terrace and it gets air flow from both parts, above has a tent so no rain can come inside. I am a bit worried for the PSU if it can go on fire but I highly doubt it. Any suggestions except changing PSU for peace of mind ? |
