Post by: ItsAllGoingToPlan on December 13, 2017, 12:31:08 PM

What does "HW" stand for in Miner Status left of PCB Temp?

Thanks

Hardware faults, I believe. Not hardware failures, just times your submissions were rejected because of hardware miscalculation. Tends to go up with overclocking/volting.

(I may be wrong here but that's been my understanding)

It depends. I watch the percentage more than the actual number, since that's basically your lost profit. So for example, if overclocking by 5% hashrate leads to a 1% increase in HW and not a huge increase in power consumption, I watch the machine for stability to be safe but am fine with that, since the increase in efficiency outweighs the error loss.
