So this looks like a ripe season for altcoins at the moment. All are goin upwards and its all green at coinmarketcap charts.

Do you think this will continue till new year? Does it have anything to do with holiday season?

2017 was a year of bitcoin, 2018 will be year of altcoins in my opinion, cuz BTC is too expensive

I really think that the uptrend of bitcoin done a big impact in every altcoins and now that bitcoin has a massive value now many miners, investors are trying their luck with the cheap Altcoins that is why they had pump so much, but I am not saying that they are giving up on bitcoin because right now it is good to have multiple coin investment than sticking out with bitcoin only,

whenever there is a long lasting and big dump all over the market, it usually immediately followed by a recovery phase where all those altcoins that lost value will gain at least some of it back.
right now it is that recovery phase that we are witnessing.

also whenever something like that happens, some of these altcoins (like LTC and XRP for example) will get pumped hard.

if you catch these coins you will make a lot of profit. but generally speaking this pattern is why everyone says buy in the dips. but they never remind you to sell after the recovery because so many of these altcoins will get dumped right after this.

I won't say yes, until the market sentimant fully changed to ALtcoin market, I believe some BTC money will start to flow to Altcoin soon and I think it is too early to say the Altcoin bull market has started

Yeah they are already ripen I guess. What happening now is they are going to fall from the tree and we have to stand below it with empty bucket!!
Yup, thats what gonna happen, we are going to get blessed with huge profits of you have had invested into them back in start of the year 2017. This is very lucky period to find ourselves into crypto land and just take out as much profits as we want. :-) To be frank, I never imagined every alt coin that is in the top 20 list of the coinamrekt will go crazy like this but it did. I missed opportunity to invest into coins which I thought will go crazy but back then I was not ready.

Anyway now the time is like very optimum and we should just wait for the coins to pop even more. :-)

I will say whole 2017 been quite good year for crypto market and addition of bitcoin future might help bitcoin to keep gaining new highs. Others altcoins are still undervalued like eth should be above $1k right now and ltc over $500.

There is still room for growth for other alts. Its still buy time for alts.

I noticed that many coins go in antiphase to bitcoin. So even as they say not the evening - anything can happen. It is necessary to look, when bitcoin will make correction.

As others stated this altcoin profit season was opened only because of bitcoin's newest bubble like rally.
It will end right after bitcoin starts losing its gas and I expect it to happen in 2-3 months.

I think that by the New Year many will withdraw funds for summing up the results of the year. At least the experience of the past speaks about this.

Soon they will dump again, but I do think 2018 will be a great year for altcoins.

I dont think so. Altcoins were very profitable in the first period of 2017. But after rumours about fork everybody sold their altcoins and started to buy bitcoin. And then bitcoin price started to climb so fastly.

Yes, I agree with you even though often happens that when the price of btc drops then also the price of the altcoins drop
