As you all know 2018 is going to be big for crypto world,

Which coins you think below $10 going to rise like Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash, because these were also below $10 in Dec 2016

I really believe in the EOS token. I think he has huge potential and I believe that in 2018 he will really grow!

waves which is 14 dollar now, today it released it's new platform in amsterdam, few days ago they were in London i think, many huge stuff announced, they have an agreement with microsoft, it's basicly like ETH but better lol and it's being hyped up allot.
20 dollar this month is my prediction and then 100 dollar sometime in 2018

Funfair (FUN) is a really promising token with some groundbreaking state channels that will allow for provably fair gambling while merging several rolls into a single ethereum transaction.

I also like Kyber network as they will introduce decentralized markets with extra features like derivatives and options trading.

Waves is one of those coins should belong to this post/list. Its fast and it has great easy wallet.
My second choice is gamecredits as I expect more partner agreements from them in 2018.

I think EOS and Iota could be one of the coins below $10 to shoot up in price next year. But don't look at the price per coin. Look at circulating coin supply and market cap too.

Looks like waves is getting a lot of attention because of the stuck transactions from bitcoin and ethereum.
Better invest to that now since it is way cheaper now. If suddenly a lot of people will read threads like this they might have the reason to buy it and that coin will surely go to heaven in value.
Waves it is but I hope it doesnt end up like the two.

It's hard to speculate but there are some things you can look out for as benchmarks while you are considering the question. I would be paying attention to those projects that can engage in efficient crosschain transactions with turing capabilities. The markets are going to open up and branch out into areas which are not "currency" specific. Those markets will need to interact with several blockchains in order to accomplish their more complex goals, so crosschain applications are going to rule in 2018.

I think too many coins are having that potential but I have completely different coin with me today which might juts pump to that much rates. I have been following the social coin lately and already invested into it back in September month this year. The coin is having no value at the moment, its exchanging at $0.20 really and still in developing phase. But the huge potential comes in when you see the project details. This coin is going to be used as utility coni for nexus social platform which is similar to the Facebook, twitter etc but only with added advantage of having SCL coin as the medium to advertise, market, and tip your social network. Due to its heavy increase in the use it will get invested more and more by the end of 2018 and we might juts see $100 + price for the SCL. Believe me this is great investment for next year.

I think ARK and lisk are good once. ARK is still under $5 so buy before it reach 10.         

IMO it's best to hold the big three.

Most promising coin I think that would go beyond 10$ is Electroneum.

Well I think the success of these coin hinges on how much the market grows. If it 20x+ like this year then a lot of coins will bloom and the marketcap will be 10 trillion after next year. I don't think it will end up this high and a 10x for me would be awesome growth in the marketcap. That known I think only a handful of strong alts will make big gains and I am not honestly sure which ones will get the money because the money doesn't always go to the better coin sometimes the better marketer.

I think that Ripple has a great future. It's growing faster now than Litecoin. Just watch the schedule. In fact, every coin can shoot.

Most promising altcoins are with privacy project for example: Verge, Pivx and Komodo they are under of their value I think, I think they ll have very big increase in 2018..

I'm following the Gilgamesh (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2162600.0) Platform, there will be an ICO soon and they are making big step forward in everything, they are supported by a very active community in constant growing, and they have a very good team that is always dedicated to bring to life their product, I think that if they continue as thery are doing they can achieve important targets on 2018

i am really confident one coin that will be very successfull in 2018 will be CARDANO.This coin has soo much potential as some people call it the ethereum of japan.Their ceo happens to be the co founder of ethereum.Cardano will be working towards developing smart contracts.lets keep an eye on this

Considering the recent rise, i think Waves will grow rapidly in the following year.

Waves is definitely going to have a huge pump and the way they are marketing about their benefits over other crypto currency i am sure Waves is something which we needs to invest for 2018 also it has it's own wallet which makes the job easier and it is really user friendly and charges lesser transaction fee than other wallets but at the same time we should not forget Ripple as it ha always been on top 10 altcoins but still the value of ripple is still low and i think if we invest in ripple now we can expect a huge returns.

I think the most popular coin which will achieve huge growth is Neo. Its very cheap and look very promising. I invest in it like a lot of people so you can try too

There are top coins of mu portfolio - ethereum (about 1000$ next year), ethereum classic (100$), stratis (60-80$), waves (100$), ripple (1,5$) , decred (200$). NEO is my my biggest hope for next year,im waiting for 250-300$ for one coin.

Fully agree with that! Securing your privacy and being anonymous in the internet is something many people will demand in the future. I would also add Deeponion to the list of promising coins since it is already natively connected to the TOR network and will implement the DeepSend technology in 2018 which will add mixer and guarantor nodes so you can make safer and fully anonymous transactions

next promising coin in 2018 is cardano...more development will make it more worth.

The most promising ICO that I feel is the Storiqa coin. They have a real team with real funds being brought into the project.

I think EOS and ripple will be the promising coins in 2018 though they have big market cap now. One reason is new investors will choose to buy coins with big market cap in my opinion.

People are starting to talk about waves a lot lately. I think it has the potential to rise quickly. It went up from 5 to 14$ not so long ago.

For me the most promising coin is Neo..1Neo probably will be  reach between $100-$200 per coin before end of 2018...

I can imagine that Pirl will be a good option too with launching masternodes.

FUN does seem to be an interesting project, probably the most "serious" one in the gambling section of cryptocurrencies. I'm definitely taking a closer look at it whenever i rebalance my portfolio in the upcoming month, for holding through 2018.

My bets are on EOS, Neo and stratis. NAGA seems interesting as well

I think PIVX will do very well in 2018 now that Zero Coin is finally stable and they have a lot of new features coming out in the next few months.

I'd say Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin and Stratis. I don't even like the Ltc but i also think that it could be higher than this. Many people believes that it's price gonna increase in 2018.

I believe that most in demand in 2018 will be projects which provide you anonymous payments and work on the system TOR. You can look at the growth of MONERO, DASH, zcash for even waves and stratis are working hard to make their payments more private. It shows the direction.

With vast number of altcoins in the cryptoworld, hard to tell which of them can be a promising altcoin next year. But for me, Qtum and Waves looks promising and yes, they're altcoins below 20$. Looking at their graph, they have their own price hike which i believe will continue to rise until next year.

I think TRON is a really promising one for 2018, is really cheap and grows everyday, for example now is 120% more

I also believed that ethereum dash litecoin and stratis will have a great increase in the year 2018. We can see this altcoins now are just steady even with the price of bitcoin is really high. yes i do agree. waves will be the option, it has good potential to be invested, i think it will be the rival from ethereum or litecoin in 2018. it's always keep close to the higher price, it will make surprise on cryptocurrency at 2018.

Fully agree. It already has $4B cap and #11 on the rating at coinmarketcap. Unfortunately I didn't buy it while it was $2, and now at $7.5 it's not safe to buy it as well. I'd like to wait the correction and buy it at $4-5.

I think 2018 will be a good year for NEO.

I think Ethereum is the most promising in 2018. We will see the price graph of the ETH is high almost every single week. So  I trust the Ethereum.

2018 will start with the rise of Ethereum cause the first fork of 2018 is going to be Ethereum and Vitalik going to draw the cards again.
Litecoin also gonna activate atomic swap so this will change the rules again.

There's a lot of them but one coin I like in particular with a large market cap is Monero. It has a great development team that knows what they are doing. If I had to choose from the lower market cap coins I would probably choose 0x Project, Viacoin and MonetaryUnit. Don't forget to do your own research before buying any coins that someone mentioned in this topic. You have to know why the price of it could go up, not just because some random guy on a forum shilled it for you.

ILL go with earth token, utrust and verify you can read their whitepaper and project development all over the net, utrust was fisnished ICO same as verify those ICO have KYC  whileearth token is a very promising project that will benefit the whole world so i guess this will be a good spot to take in the market !

NEM... what brought me most of my crypto riches from a stake way back when. I still hold some of this. Fast transaction time, proof of importance, low fees, fast transactions (assuming your exchange doesn't require 20 confirmations)

Deeponion... running the blockchain over the TOR network. Active development, very strong team, and an airdrop in progress. Everything seems to be running smoothly on this one right now.

Wagerr.  After reading more into this one I am going to hold it instead of sell it. They plan to ditch the waves token format and start their own proof of stake blockchain in the coming month or two. Good name, reasonably strong development team, it's gambing and gambling is a big untapped market, and it's cheap.

Ark. They have too much going on to explain in a couple of sentences. Dig into their thread and see for yourself. I like their transparency. The team members are all listed right there. This one is delegated
 proof of stake with 7 second block times and fast transactions.

I'm still in the research phase so I'll be looking at other people's listing in this thread, particularly ones with a market cap under $100M. I like to throw $5 to $15K in my altcoin investments I think might be 10 baggers or better. I'm focused on scalability, privacy, active development teams, and low market caps. I don't need to give another investing 101 lesson but price of a coin doesn't matter. It's price times total number of coins equals market cap. The lower the market cap, the easier it is to go up many time's your purchase price.  These are also less liquid which makes it harder to purchase large amounts in a short period of time at a good price. :)

I really believe iota. Iota is a huge potential coin and has all the potential to rise in 2018. right now they are collaborating with microsoft if this happen this will be a huge blow in its price and it will be upto moon in near future.They biggest strength of Iota is its transaction fee and i think it has huge boom in its price.

I tell you the truth, better read and study well on your own about wise way of investment. You cant jusy let other dictate you all possible promising future coin. People might suggest you bulk of coins and surely most of it are just scam and just really meant for deceiving. Try to get into credible people who are really has the full knowledge about it.

Right now I think ripple and electroneum and zen may be coins we see big surges with next year there is really so much choice. I think much with do with what other coins coinbase and the likes offer next year.

I have just read about IOTA,Its not bad at first glance.The price was increased about 200% and its It's amazing.IOTA Developers are going to make micro payments easy and cheap,Thats why i think price will increase  in the future,because IOTA is so competetive coin and people will start using this if developers do everything to make it special coin,despite the fact this coin is not blockchain-based technology,Its tangle technology as i know and the success of this coin depends on people,if more and more people involve in this network,Transactions will be faster.
Also My choice is Stellar (XLM) Wich is more promising than ripple in my opinion,But I watch more at traditional coins as Litecoin,Ethereum Classic and others.

My pick and also the safest is Neo. Massive moon potential if China says they require it for ICO's (compliance #1 for Neo). If not, solid gains expected anyway as the smart economy progresses.

Waves is indeed one of the most popular coins of the digital currencies after bitcoin among altcoins. Bitcoin is the one which is famous because it is oldest currency in the crypto market and I know this waves will soon stand next to bitcoin.

Keep buying waves at cheap rates when the coin is going through some serious dumps and keep it in wallets until and unless this altcoin goes through some good pump.

The most promising coin for me will be Minexcoin (MNX) if it hits a big exchange.
MNX grew from 1$ to 30$ in a month and now is stable at 30$ it will easily increase to 50$+ in 2018.
Otherwise, Ripple, Waves and Power Ledger will all have a great 2018.

I go with XVG Verge! Is the on and only 100% anonym Coin. Its really fast and it has very low transaction cost. Very good Dev team behind. Also John Mcafee tweetet some time about it. Actually on 4 cent. DOnt miss your chance and get some before its to late!

Im rooting for XVG Verge, it has been growing pretty fast these last couple days  its still pennies but I think it shows a lot of promise.

I have minex too and I always check the price and I am glad that the price reaches $30 now. it is the right decision I made to invest on minex because actually, I don't expect to reach the profit from minex. ripple and waves are another good coins too and for ripple, I think the price will hit more than $1 and I hope we can see in the last December. I still hold my waves and at the same time, I am doing a lease on other website so I think it will increase too.

In addition to this I think XEM will join the trend and go even higher. It is a good choice of investment that I believe will boom next year, all good altcoins will surely pump. Be patient, Hold and enjoy your big profit later on.

I chose ETN they did a good growth, XLM and MNX although the MNX is already high and I'm sure it will be even higher in 2018, that's all I think will have a nice development in 2018 in my knowledge.

For me, I think that the most promising and probably the investment with the lowest risk are coins that offer some true value, like POWR. I'm also invested in ICON and Substratum, as they aim to do some great things - connecting all Blockchains and creating the decentralized web. Can't say how successful will they be, but their teams are great, so I hope we'll see high returns in 2018.

Well imo bitcore btx is a promising coin which is getting attention after cmc updated circulating supply. I admit that i really like that project. Roadmap also promising. Have a look.

UTK, FDX, BKX, ETH, RIPPLE become one good coin in 2018. we can see the coin will have good popularity and also high price. so I guess that's a good choice if you like new potential coins.

Sumokoin has huge potential. It is great privacy coin (monero fork) and its currently super undervalued with only 22mil market cap.
The dev team is awesome they always deliver on time.

They say 2018 will be the year for the privacy coins and i like a new kid on the block - Turtlecoin (TRTL). Just over a month old and only started trading on its first exchange, tradeogre.com a few days ago. Current price on tradeogre is 4sats - was 1sat yesterday lol.

Its easy to mine  - if you have a decent GPU you should be able to get 20K coins per day. A lot of folks are throwing nicehash power at the pools recently so mining payoff on your own GPU has come down a bit.

I have not heard of this coin till now but I will do my own research after this post and check if out for myself but I feel siacoin will be the most promising coin as it has something unique to offer than all the other traditional crypto coins as this offers cloud storage facility with cheap price than Amazon or google

Well, actually I will think about EOS. But it is now around $14.02. If you say under $10, maybe it will be some altcoins likely:
NANO (Nano), VeChain ($4.44), Ripple ($0.699273) and ADA ($0.260063), may be good. They have a good potential to be trusted for some usage, platform, and concept of the coin.

All currencies have potential in 2018 such as EOS, NEO, XRP ...

I still choose bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, monero, eos, neo, ada as the most promising coin of 2018 although there are many more coins that could increase in this year. I am sure that bitcoin and the other coins will be rise again so we can make a lot of profit like the last year. but unfortunately, we don't know when the time will come and we can only prepare for this by buying more and more coins to add in our balance so we don't have to be late to sell and take the profit.

I would add Cardano, TRON, IOTA, NEM, and VeChain as well. EOS is looking over-priced right now and it is having a market cap of almost $11 billion (which is even more than that of Litecoin and Cardano). So I would think twice before investing in that currency.

EOS stayed on top even with all the bloodbath going on, I think it will stick on top for years until a better token technology will counter EOS. But still hoping for the next year (2019) to see another good movement from the graph which will give us holders a good profit. The most promising coins of 2018 would be those which are long term investments as the short term market is pretty competitive so the long term coins would be those coins which are based on future tech mostly AI which is already valued above 10 million USD.

I don't see any coin below $10 that will rise above $100 in 2018.
