Funny part is with another Rig was working fine with a 1060 3Gb with this second one 1060 6Gb give me hard time, I am upgrading the Mobo bios to make sure nothing is missing... Mobo is a Asus 970 pro gaming,aura ...I know it's old but I don't like waist ;DLet me know if that works for you. Maybe you need to install them. just for the news I try already the 387.34 and all the versions before like 384.90, 384.98 but nothing give me a log in access and I am getting in and bounc me back at the log in, then I have to Ctrl+alt+F1 and apt purge nvidia* and restart with xserver drivers :-\ feeling hopeless ...
