My machine is hardly a mining machine, it's a little acer aspire one notebook and it's using CPU. If I don't have more than one miner I can hit 1 Mhash or whatever the rate is, however any more than that and the rate goes down a lot. So what's better? It's taxing the heck out of my computer but I didn't know if it was better to have smaller halves of a whole working at it or one.

Post by: koin on July 04, 2011, 04:35:53 AM that is consuming more in electricity than it is earning, and definitely not worth anything when you consider your time invested (unless you are simply doing it for the entertainment and/or learning value.)
that said, sum up your mhash/s. whichever combination gives you the most in total, that's the combination that will earn more. just one cpu miner running gives the most mhash/s, if i remember correctly. |
