Here is the newest report from the silicon valley. On December 13 at 11 a.m. CST, (December 12 7 p.m. US Pacific Time), the UnitedBitcoin(UBTC) hold a global conference at Santa Clara in Silicon Valley. Jeff Garzik, a contributor of bitcoin core, attended this conference as the chief scientist and board member of UnitedBitcoin.

Facing more than a hundred global media staffs and fans who attended the conference, Jeff Garzik explained the reasons why he was attracted by UBTC, which include:
1.Outstanding management, technical and executive teams;
2.The world’s leading technology: 100% inheritance of Bitcoin gene and data; smart contract that bases on UVM virtual machine; lightening network for fast payment; increased block-size to 8 MB; and the improvement in isolation witness mechanism. Jeff also talked about the high complexity of blockchain technology. He believes that the technical strength of UBTC team is a world-leading one after meeting Unitedbitcoin teams.
3.Transparency, safety, reliability, and no premining
4.Innovartion. UBTC combines the community of QTUM, HSR and others and gains the support from many exchanges and mining pools, which sets a new standard for technical and model innovation and provides a new idea for this area.

During the conference, Wouter van der Schagt, the executive director of UBTC, talked about the latest condition of UBTC with attendants. UBTC fork was successfully launched at the block height of 498,777, and the first phrase distribution has finished following the ratio of 1BTC:1UBTC. Cross chain distribution of the second phrase and its detailed rules will be released before January 3. Wouter also introduced numerous advantages of UBTC, including faster transaction speed, lower transaction charge, unique fork procedures and technical improvements which cover isolation witness, smart contract, lightening network, replay protection, etc.

This is a total scam.

A fork is fine, but give the people the fork.

What is easily passed in the roadmap is that they give out coins that are active after November 1st.

So, if you bought your bitcoins only 2 months ago or more - You get nothing.

So, 16.75 Million coins distributed, but if you haven't used any in the last 1.5 months, you get nothing.  THEY get them.

another one for you and xxx,xxx for them.

I still can't believe that they expect anyone that purchase their coins as an investment over 2 months ago get nothing.

This is basically a scam, a pre-mine, and de-anonymization of bitcoin owners whom try to get some if this free coin by moving coins around if they want to claim anything.  It's not a fork when they get 16.5 million out of the 16.75 in existence.
