Title: Cryptocurrency: Opportunities And Scams
Post by: iamTom123 on December 14, 2017, 03:37:41 AM

The buzz on cryptocurrencies specifically Bitcoin  has dominated news and tech media over the last couple of weeks most especially when Bitcoin boomed and climbed to an all new high even reaching over 18k per coin...now that's an amazing bull run which we have never seen before!

Well-known personalities and companies like Microsoft, Samsung, JP Morgan and Chase, Mark Cuban and Tai Lopez have been talking open about their investments and dealings with the digital coins. Bitcoin is now almost reaching the mainstream population. But take a close attention...what is all the talk about? While some well-meaning people have been warning us that this can just be another doomed  bubble, we continue on treating Bitcoin as the most serious investment opportunity and something to get excited about!

There are so many opportunities right now in the world of cryptocurrency. At the same time there are many programs designed to rip anyone of his hard-earned money so we have to be careful. The thing about crypto is that I have seen hundreds of companies claiming to give you a return of 30 - 40% on your deposit. That is completely nuts and unrealistic. Most of those companies will eventually fold up and ran off with everyone's money. I have seen this happen time after time after time.

So stop throwing your hard earned money on crypto scams and only go with  something that will be around for the long haul. What are the programs have you seen using Bitcoin which are completely nuts and just running a ponzi scheme?

it is kind of a no-brainer that whenever there is money involved somewhere in the world, there will also be scams available there.
it is human nature. there are always people who want to take the easy and quick route to making money. so they start creating scams and rip-offs to make easy money. this is a dirty way but it will always exist even if they get caught.

the thing i don't get is that why you bring these two together! opportunities in cryptocurrencies are countless. it is a raw market open for a lot of things to do. a lot of services need to be created, lots of businesses can shape up and make a lot of money.

So true, the higher the risk the higher the gain LOL
But yeah, crypto in general is actually still in infancy stage, it is still pretty new, the development behind it is still lagging compared to fiat which already existed since several centuries ago

Scam and malicious contract is one of the biggest challenge right now, that's why I am supporting the project of Blue (previously known as Ethereum Blue) with same goal to detect malicious contract so that user will be warned before investing in such scammy project with malicious contract

But there a lot opportunities behind it, compared to other investment like gold or stock which will give you only like 20-30% a year

Humanity is greedy, and you can see different reactions to different people's treatment of money. Never trust all kinds of projects that can promise you 100% promises, which is definitely a scam. High income is always accompanied by high risk, everlasting.

I don't agree that this is a fraud. Bitcoin and other virtual currencies are increasingly being used in real life. It may not take many years, and many places can accept bitcoin payments.
There is a certain bubble in this market, but it should be the beginning of a bull market from the current situation of capital entry.

With cruptocurrency it seems that everything has been made of doors and keys with gates wife open and tipe for opportunities but this is also something that scammers can take note and use to rob us or manipulate and take advantage of our excitement

All he is saying is: " Is the world of cryptocurrency filled with Scammers or not?"

OP: look at every different kind of economy, there will always be scammers around. The difference is, there are no governing bodies around bitcoin or any cryptocurrency today. If they would "enforce" Bitcoin's markets, mining farms or trades, there will be less scammers, but this will surely cause some implications.

Before you do what you do, you must first assess the risk. Generally, the risk and the benefit are positive. The proceeds of the encrypted currency are high, and the risks are the same. Of course, you can't say bitcoin is a fraud. It is driven by the market.

Doing the research could give the person more positive inputs to their next investment. It really means a lot when things are researched fully.

It is true that we have seen abnormal growth of the Bitcoin price for the last six months. It has proved to be a great opportunity for some. Other cryptocurrencies have also grown sharply. That's why some people think cryptocurrency as scam.

I think in any field there is always a risk, but it depends on your mindset what you will do to do the perfect thing to make money and most people around the world say that bitcoin is a good thing for investment and before you enter the investment field You. need to research in advance whether it is safe in investments or not, issues that concern your money on what you will do. because bitcoin is a new digital currency that is still in its early stages,

It could even hit a million Cryptocurrencies one day. Nothing stops this from happening.
I bet some were worried that the number of websites were going up In the early days of the Internet.. . Here we are today with millions of Websites. Only few websites are actually sustainable and making money for the owners.

Similar things will happen in  Crypto World. Altcoin will eventually be super easy to create. Many would have their own brand of coins. Sophisticated ones will exist and they will be hard to create. Not everyone will be successful at  creating values out of the Altcoin.

quantity doesn't matter, quality is important.

creating a new altcoin or like what they do these days, creating a token is very simple and it doesn't even cost you anything to do it except time. that is why we have thousands of altcoins out there these days.
but creating something that actually does something is the hard part. and that i why we only have a handful of projects that worth paying any attention to. the rest of them are only money making machines that every traders loves so they keep them alive.

Currently there are hundreds of alt-coins trading. Most of them are candidate of scam or unfortunately abandoned projects. I have come across a lot of scammed alt-coins, I even can remember them. Though we should not neglect that apart from these scammed coins there are good and better prospect project alt-coins available. Sensible decision would be researching well before doing any investments.

Anything that relates to money will have a hand in these kind of scams.  There is no way to avoid it.  The only best thing you can do is invest
smart and not put all your eggs in one basket.  I done my fair share of bad investments but what does not kill you stronger.  ICO are target for virtual products or services that is hard to see with your eyes, not much ICO based on physical form yet.  Most of these ICO and altcoins are faith investments.

It's very easy to scam people today in cryptocurrency world,so many seemingly excellent opportunities and so many beginners who are caught on the hook. The desire for quick profits and wealth in combination with internet and cryptocurrency offers unimagined opportunities for various kinds of thieves, fraudsters and hackers.Since it is much easier to steal in online world and traces can be very easy to hide,it's quite logical that is so many scams and hack directed at cryptocurrency.

Everything what is looking too good to be true is probably a scam, every experienced user knows it-but army of newbies who are entering in crypto world become a perfect target and easy money for bad guys.

Since Bitcoin has been booming in the internet business, a lot of different websites are trying to imitate them and scam the users. But, cryptocurrencies are technically beneficial especially when used properly.

We humans are greedy in nature, only very few aren't, you can see reactions of different kinds of people when it comes to treatment of money. Any project that promises you 100% should never be trusted, it's most likely a scam. A very high income is usually accompanied by high risk.  :) ;)

Where there is an opportunity for people to make money there will always be a scam element we see many icos no that do look good on paper but the long-term elements are not always the best. Greed will always come into play and scammers will thrive on this.
