Title: Changes to trust settings for people I dislike?
Post by: luv2drnkbr on July 18, 2013, 02:05:47 AM
I would like to add a feature to the trust settings a feature to have personal local ratings of people.  There are users whom I get a bad vibe from just reading what they write and understanding how they think, and I would like to ensure that I personally don't do business with them in the future-- but they have done nothing wrong, and I don't want to tarnish somebody's reputation over the fact that I don't like them.  Still, I would like to have a reminder for myself so I don't accidentally do business with them say 4 months from now.

Is there a way to negatively rate somebody but have that show up only for me?  Or just as we have a list where we can add trustworthy people, can there be a list of users we distrust?

I suggested a red but no negative rating before.

Make a user who only you trusts.
Distrust those people who you dislike.
:)

I don't understand why adding clutter to the ratings / trust web is the suggested workaround.

That was just a guess though... I may have misunderstood what you just said though.

What do you mean by that?

"make a user"

like a fake account just for negative rating or up-rating or what?
