Title: Invest in ICO´s at ETH 700dollar
Post by: MakaPaka0815 on December 14, 2017, 04:27:17 PM
Sup Guys,

Im planning to participate in some ICO´s like Trade or Naga....seemed like a good deal few weeks ago when ether was at 350 bucks.....but now at 700, does it even make sense to buy in an ICO atm?

Noob question: Do they give out more tokens per eth when the eth price is rising?

If an ICO is pricing in eth based then the fluctuation of eth price would not affect the number of tokens you would received unless otherwise they make necessary adjustment and make official announcement about certain changes.

And because it doesn't affect the number of tokens that means the tokens have gotten more expensive.

just look at their ICO price is based on USD or ether price,,
if the ICO price is based on USD, you will got more if invest with eth in current price ( about $700)
but if the price is based on eth price there is no change for how many tokens you will get

Yes, trade.io did give surprise bonus due the change in btc and eth price. Participants received 150 extra tokens for every 1,000 TIO tokens purchased. Hope this helps.

When you investing in ICOs - that is for long-term (1-2 years), you should decide what works for you, short-term (Ethereum price nowadays) or you ready for long-term
