Post by: shap00 on December 14, 2017, 09:16:12 PM
can somebody tell me the optimal options for overclocking gigabyte gtx 1070 ti? i currently have the power limit at 85%, the core clock at +125 and memory clock at +650 and getting 31.7 mh/s. thanks!

Every card is different. I have five evga 1070ti and all go to +150core and +800mem TDP 65%, one card will not get above +645mem TDP70%. This is the fun oart of gou rigs. Endless tweaking for efficiency and stability.

Of cource it depend from memory type used on your GPU and how successful created GPU crystall.
Because the 1070 is the cutted 1080 gpu due to manufacturing defect, you can have very big difference on results.

Unless you mine at a location where electricity is free, I wouldn't set my TDP settings higher than 70%. I've found that the power efficiency is best at 60%. For the core and memclocks, they will now depend on what coin you are mining. Some coins need core clock while others need mem clock. You will have to do research on the specific coin you are mining.

i am currently mining ethereum with 31.3mh/s per gpu with 85% power limit +50 core clock and +575 memory clock.  it now looks stable but if i take the memory clock to 650 it crashes after some hours. is that normal or do i need to do more setups? and can i lower the power limit more?

Search on OC forums and test, each card reacts differently as environments are never equal

On my evga 1070ti SC cards i have the following:-

65% Power
75c max temp
+150 core clock
+800 mem clock
Fans set to auto

Getting 32.3Mh on ETH and dual mining PASC as a bonus but havent taken note of hasrate for that really. One of my evga cards wont go past +645mem though and needs 70%Power to stay relatively stable. ALL cards have Micron memory so it goes to show that every card is different.
