Title: Electrum Help with 2FA seed Post by: bitcoiner1980 on December 15, 2017, 01:43:04 AM Hello, I am trying to create a 2FA account. I have created a standard wallet with electrum and trying to use this seed to restore awallet with 2FA. My questions are:
1- Do I have to create a new wallet with 2FA and move the BTC there or I can use a standard wallet and restore it as 2FA? 2- When trying to create a new 2FA wallet with electrum, I am using a mnemonic code converter. When entering this new seed (12 words) electrum shows the button next in gray (disable). Is there anything particular that I need to consider when generation the new seed? Thanks |
