Title: [2017-12-15] Malaysia Presented Rules for Cryptocurrency Exchanges

Yesterday Bank Negara Malaysia released a report, presenting new draft regulations for cryptocurrency exchanges that operate in the country. In the report, bank asks the public to weigh in on measures aimed at easing money laundering and terrorist financing concerns related to cryptocurrencies.

It's really nice that governments have recently been deciding to legalize & regulate bitcoin rather than banning it, because they have seen that banning it will not work. I'm happy that Malaysia has recognized this as well.

Unfortunately, it hasn't legalized bitcoin yet. Malaysia is looking for the ways to regulate it

So glad that I see this is happening.

Time has come that governments worldwide has spoken, and thankfully most of them have seen the potential of Bitcoins to penetrate the market. This is another achievement yet for Bitcoin!

In the same vein, we have to understand that it is not easy for governments to adapt something beyond the norms -- Bitcoin included. Perhaps it will take time before all things fall into place. As for now, let us remain steadfast in the pursuit of our investments while being thankful of what is coming our way.
