Title: Bitcoin Day!! Post by: Anonymous on July 04, 2011, 12:43:21 PM Let us set a day every year where we celebrate our independence from the central bankers and remember why we want to use bitcoin.
This could be like christmas where everyone spends a bitcoin online at their favourite bitcoin shop and we have bitcoin meetups all around the world. If you want more than one celebration, other possibilities are May 22 (Bitcoin Pizza day) and US dollar parity day (February 9). Alternatively, maybe someone can find a way to add a Bitcoin angle to an existing "alternative" celebration such as Talk Like A Pirate Day (September 19) or Festivus (December 23).
