What's so special about the 18th?

Tell me, what is special on 18th this december on Ripple?

Ripple surely is a coin to hold. It's a great long term investment. I saw a lot of people saying it will have agreements with banks and stuff like that. I assume you are claiming a similar for 18th or december.

Last time when people decided to hodl XRP, they have to wait for about a year to sell it higher than they bought it) Are u ready to wait)?

Lets not forget that a few days ago the price was 21 cents or something, I bought in at 1700 sats and got out at 4500.

Very bad idea though, made some great losses by not sticking with it.

It was 18 cents back then when encountering XRP for the first time. I just don't know what's so special about December 18? Let me guess. Is it going to surge? Or is it going to dip? Either way, I'm going to stick with the XRP's that I've bought. The only thing I know about Ripple's latest development now is that they're soon going to be included in Coinbase.

but i think it is a safe strategy to let the frenzy pass and when price start to decline sell.. it will then stabilize to a new higher floor then previous (i think around 0,000035 / 0,000040 btc) and then buy again waiting other few months for a new relly, same as usual with xrp

Whatever rumour or big news they've already prepared for is well priced in already so yes if you are buying into this then it's only a hold option. Don't expect any more surges for a while, especially not when Bitcoin is reaching yet more ATHs. I feel alts will continue to struggle until Bitcoin perhaps pushes past 20k and then the correction everyone was waiting for happens.

The only slight increase I predict for Ripple is when Coinbase starts listing it. But every other thing is already expected. In fact, if the hype falls short, then we'll see XRP ease off for a bit.

The xrp token is the most token that has a lot of potentials in the market but for those aiming to buy and hold they must install the wallet in their hard drive and wait a lot of time to get sychronized so i think all the actual holders are saving their funds in exchange wallets waiting a good price to sell despite it is the worst way to hodl a coin. I heard the ripple supply will be deacreased so the price will automatically pump more. It was always a good time to buy even the price got high.

For me RIPPLE mystery. I read a lot of negative. That they are in fact not on the blockchain work. That there the transaction the coins are not needed. About how speculative they were forced to grow.
But now look it can not be the project which has invested 30 billion to be bad. Think I need another to understand what is Ripple and what is its future. I'd hate to miss the train when Ripple will be a $ 10 cost

Just keep on hodling these altcoins and whether there is or there are no good news about this coin but I strongly believe that this coin will surely be one of the mostly used coins in the crypto world in the next few years so holding would be a good thing.

What's going to happen at 18? I thought the big move already happened because of the news of lockup some days ago. I hold some ripple but i will probably sell some to take profit especially since bitcoin is moving upwards again.

I think XRP gets occasional pumps which is interesting. But what is so interesting about the 18 dec? Is it a special announcement day?

Ripple is centralised and no true crypto person wants to deal with a centralised coin especially any one that has anything to do with banks. I don't see the reasons for HODL

because who cares about your "ethics" if you're making money, that's the entire point...

Why you saying 18th Dec,or you want to say 2018?

XRP is a good coin is very fast in transaction which other crypto currencies failed to provide.Ripple made a huge price growth in this year from$0.01 to $0.79 so the price may increase in the future also.Experts also predicts that real price of XRP will shown in 2018.So Ripple is one of the best crypto for long term investment.

Surely it is better to hold it. Ripple has great potential. Considering the constant burning of the commission, just give it a little bit more time and etherium will reward you with an excellent profit for your patience.

I am pretty sure that Ripple will reach 1$ in next few day, there still big support for Ripple and sell wall is start to be taken off.

This is a foolish mentality to had, if you are continuously regretting the gains you could've made it will lead you to be greedy and make mistakes in the future. I don't think many would've predicted ripple increasing like this and I wouldn't be surprised to see it fall again in some time.

Maybe even earlier  ;D What I am getting is that nobody is sure about the agreement and deal between Ripple and Amazon, So I guess I am going to give the coin until tomorrow morning and hopefully I will see a proudly standing $1 as its price.

Ripple is hodl into the long future, not just 18th december (a weirdly specific date)

It has huge applications in the financial industry, and banks are finally starting to come around to the idea and accepting its value rather than trying to design their own shity alternatives.

I do not trust Ripple at all. Because it's totally based on rumors. Yes, the market is already working on rumors, but I do not believe in Ripple's project. I will stay away from this coin.

What is happening on december 18th? I would not stop holding my coins because of that.

I have been trying to hold my ripples for a long time, in fact, i was able to get some ripples at $0,15 each one of them, but i sold them out at $0,23 as soon as i could.

I do not regret of that, because i still made a lot of profit from this..

I have Ripple when it was at $0.20 and Im still holding up until now. Hoping for a pump, I know it will one of these days or maybe next year. Ripple also is good for long term investment. By the way, Im really puzzled whats with December 18? Is it a new kind of speculation with specific date or do they have an imporvement, innovation, or changes that will trigger the value to pump? Or there will be a scheduled pump and dump situation? Lets see what will happen the 18th is fast approaching.

I think the logic is that the price of XRP will rise on or after the launch of Bitcoin futures on Dec. 18th by CME. The crazy rise over the past week started soon after 10/12 when CBOE launched its BTC futures. More money in BTC means more money in the system overall, particularly from institutional investors. When that money goes out of BTC it has to go somewhere and obviously some of that has gone to XRP over the past week and might do again after the 18th. (Just speculating, correct me if I'm wrong)

Hopefully December 18, the Ripple will experience a big increase and hopefully will get the most from these coins.

I also have some ripple, and I have a plan to hold hold ripple until January 2018 and I also will not stop to search for information about ripple.

Ripple may reach that level soon but looks like it won't happen within few days because of CME Bitcoin futures. And also it isn't recommend to trade based on buy or sell walls because these can be removed with just one click if the owner wish to do that. In this way they might be fake buy or sell walls.

Why hold only until 18 dec ? I from now buying ripple every week after i got my paycheck. Buy and buy more. I believe the trend is up and in a few years latter most people will use ripple for sending money from one country to another. And more insyitutional entities will use it too. As per now we all know amex used it already and biggest south korean bank will used it too. I have no doubt money gram or wu will used it.

Man, if any coin is not entirely built on rumours it is XRP.

BUY BUY and one more time BUY XRP during corrections and hold for long term - accumulate XRP by doing that.

Now it is very good time for buyin at around 3600 satoshis, if breaks this support and goes lower than add XRP at 2500 satoshis and just hold until huge profits.

I do not think so but it is safe investement. Pluse there is always chance that coinbase is going to add xrp to its exchange and that...that will be huge

I think hold and be patient with today's conditions is the best way to save altcoin that we have. wait until the new era of 2018.

I strongly recommend to hold it at least for another six months. It is growing and is stable.

I agree with you I have heard ripple will be increase the price by next year. And there is updates about the project so yes even you hold ripple we can earn huge profit. It is not late to buy ripple today and hold.

Maybe you mean December 2018? I would hold my XRP till then. It was meant to be a hedge anyway. At some point maybe I will sell a small portion just to cover the initial investment.

I heard that there were over 64 banks willing use Ripple technology for their international transactions. So, I strongly believe that Ripple price will go up in the future.

It is pretty clear that, only with some extreme pumping and then expected dumping sure. So, is it still worth at this moment to buy XRP?
