We are pretty close to entering 2018, will it be the year of bitcoin as it was for 2017 or it will be the year where everyone will discuss how to buy and sell bitcoin.

Bitcoin will get to 25k-100k perhaps.

And then... $0 (or close to it)


That's my prediction for 2018 :P

it will for sure go more higher by the end of december  but a crash is more likely to happen in 2018 and there's no running away from it.

If the Bitcoin Core team can pull off a miracle and implement the Lightning Network by 2018, then we will see massive

increases in the price. People want a end to the scaling problems of Bitcoin and they want cheap micro payments. Once this

is done, more applications and services with this in mind will launch. We will then see the real BITCOIN.  ;D

There are a lot of possibilities for 2018. I think it won´t raise that much as it has done 2017. It´s just too unbelievable.
But i´m also sure it won´t fall under 10.000$..

it is true there are many articles that discuss about the prediction of bitcoin prices, but none of the articles are accurate and even bad news that makes people quickly sell their bitcoin can make bitcoin prices increased drastically

In addition, 2018 may usher the following :
1.There will be a lot more institutional capital that will all go to the highest quality projects.

2.The issue of regulation : As Bitcoin booms, regulation will first come to ICOs before moving on to cryptocurrencies directly. However, it is difficult to now predict if regulation will have a positive or negative impact on the industry.

3.I think most investors will become aware that besides Bitcoin, there is Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and Dimpay. There is going to be a strong move toward diversifying crypto-assets and managing investments the same way that investors look at more traditional assets and investing.

bitcoin in 2018, I do not think anyone can predict its rise or fall of bitcoin.
but we all pray only hope bitcoin does not fall and remain stable, if it can increase so high.
we hope the bitcoin team can do wonders again for all of us.

Based on the recent rise I honestly reckon it'll fall slightly the rise up again for a while until it reaches around $40,000 AUD(?) and eventually crashes -

but let's be honest u can't really predict it

most of the news are published in this way. But Bitcoin is a most secured currency everyone should adopt the Bitcoin. So this drastic changes are happens in digital market I can agree with you. But trading is not a simple it will raise are fall we don't predict the cryptocurrency value. I think who are all trust the Bitcoin this is good profitable investment in 2018. I think it reach 40k to 50k at the end of 2018.

your statement is contradicting.... you should avoid crypto market

Okay, here are my thoughts:
1) Bitcoin will hit $25k mark in spring and will reach $40k by the end of 2018, if the bubble won't blow of course
2) Ethereum will be the most popular coin reaching the mark of $1k in March and $5k by the end of the year
3) Top altcoin will also go up, smaller ones will be dead
4) Forks and ICOs will be not so popular

Actually, I don't have the slightest dea about how it will go... I guess that by January 18, we will see a sharp drop... The rise currently occurring is just.. "too much"!

But then, I think it will increase again.. reaching levels that seems impossible for the moment.

Of course, I don't wanna to believe it will fall, but I am pretty sure it won't. More and more people are getting involved, it "has" to grow.

Wouldn't be too bad if that actually happens. Especially the last point would be a good thing for the cryptoverse (except for the 'good' ICO's of course).

At the beginning of next year I think the price of bitcoin will drop. Some governments have planned to ban the bitcoin activity in their country. The number of bitcoin sellers will be plenty.

I think bitcoin will drop due to high members and exposure making the government ban it but it will not pop out like a bubble

I think there will be a rise in volume of people using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. Estimately by end of 2018, we'll see over 30M people all over the world holding at least one cryptocurrency. Also, value of bitcoin will go up again.

The no.1 top for bitcoin prediction is that we are waiting that it will hit the target of $5,000 or not but instead it tripled the speculation and already at $19,000 in which a few bucks left to make it 4X.

my predictions are bitcoin will increase more than $18,000 in the january 2018 but I still not sure that we can see $21k because bitcoin now facing a problem with the fee and delay of the transaction. people now is confusing when they want to send their bitcoin because the fee is too bigger. if this could be solved then I think the price can increase higher than now. but I think lets we wait what the time will answer later so we can see by our self.

Maybe 20,000 to 95,000 USD for the year 2018 I am not with 100,000 yet because I felt like anytime soon government will intervene and try to imposed any kinds of schemes like putting taxes or other surcharges in buying bitcoin  when they see that majority of the population in their country are hyped in bitcoin.

Yes dear you are right and I am hopeful that bitcoin will definitely provide all the facilities in cheap price, and in 2018 bitcoin will get as much fame as dollar or any other currency has got, and it price will sky rock. What I am thinking, in 2018 will be the revolutionary year for crypto currency and a new era will be established. In 2018 I think anyone who has access to internet will be the part of crypto currency and bitcoin will be at top of the list
