Title: Asicgigahash.com K1 Miners
Post by: Pentel on July 19, 2013, 08:46:11 PM
Hi, I'm just looking for info here.
I've been told here that they are not a scam, because someone here as supplied them with a lot of chips.

I've bought 3 miners and still no news about them, on there website or here.  I've emailed them and so far no no reply.
Have I wasted my coins?

Or are they on BFL time?  ;D

Some people say they are a scam others say they aren't but 1.4 BTC is rather expensive for a k1

I tried to contact them on their website (asicgigahash.com) and directly on the forum (Phirl13) several times, but no reply!
It sounds like a scam to me...quite disturbing.

What's the possible reason to pay a 50% premium for a K1 vs. USB Eruptors?

So true... I also ordered a jalapeņo in February...seriously thinking to sell it as preorder...but I hate all this preorder business!

Really AsicGigahash should not have said they can deliver miners mid July.
When they had no clue when they would get the chips, never mind the USB boards printed.

Use pre-order suckers, any extra USB's or discounts for us?

(Please)

Hello Phirl13,

As far as I understand you ordered some chips in batch 1! Did you get them ? Did you send the chips for assembling (boards and Klondike 1 I believe)...

Thank you

The problem people have I think is lack of information.
There website as not been updated for sometime, info here is poor at best.  And they never (my experience) answer questions at there website.

I've asked for a refund (I don't think this would ever happen) and info about delivery.  No answer.
So another company who is on BFL time and another company who will not refund customers.

I say, don't pay anything from  Asicgigahash.com

Philr13,
Are you alive? What are the progress with the boards? Did you get the chips? Did you send them in production? The website is stuck at the 24th of June... Since you stated that this is it a scam, could you please give some evidence that you are doing something?

Thank you

Dear Phirl13,
given the current status of the Avalon chips, it would be kind to let us know what are you gonna do with your chip orders. If you'll get a refund, you ought to give us a refund to, otherwise is simply teft.
Regards

Avalon is giving refund For the chips not delivered. What are you gonna do? Steal our bitcoins, deliver klondike 1 (not sure you have the chips...), or offer refund?
I don't understand, why a refund is so difficult? You had no expenses so far! You took our bitcoins, bought chips in group buys (with your own money I guess, which will refunded) and planning to send them to evilminers. Please explanation required.

Please excuse our lack of communication we have been really hectic with a lot of problems with avalon and yifu we will update when we are updated rest assured you have not been scammed but as you can appreciate here we are in the same boat as you at this time our orders have not be fulfilled and therefore yours have not and this ultimately comes down to avalon (yifu)

Did you receive the chips already? Don't you think that you should  offer to your customer a few options given the situation? Here some suggestions:
1) full refund
2) partial refund and delivery of the order (very reasonable)
3) delivery of something more then what we paid for. In my case 1 Klondike 1, for 1.5 BTC is a bit excessive... chips? Other klondike?

Tnx

For asicgigahash.com buyers

From Phirl13 (PM on 30/8/13)

we cannot offer anything because we do not know what we are being offered by yifu, once we know what is happening we can then give options to customers but at this time there is nothing we can say or do
our hands our tied awaiting yifu response.
thanks.

My reply:

Well....It depends on what you want to do with the chips you ordered in the group buys. Yifu has offered refunds, and let's see what happens I agree.... nevertheless you should tell us what is your position about it...will you go for the refund (like most of the people are doing)?

Thanks

I wish a refund!

Phirl13,
Yifu is giving refunds. Sebastian has already got the BTC back for three batches and Zefir is doing the same. They are almost ready to redistribute the BTC to the miners...What are you going to do with your orders? Refund or more waiting for chips that will mine zero bitcoins? I think this is an important piece of information you should provide to your customers...
You are right, we are all in the same boat! So be honest with you and your customer and offer a refund.

Tnx

Many people (including myself) are receiving refunds from group buys. Both zefir and sebastianju are doing a great job with honesty and precision. What are you gonna do? Be honest and give us our bitcoins back! My 1.5 BTC was 15 days mining with GPU...

Remember contacting these back in June/July...seemed like a scam at worst or at best a poorly run outfit right from the beginning....hope you guys get your BTC back

Tnx btcapparel, Phirl13 occasionally replies to threads and pm....but not keen in refund apparently, despite having bought (and not received) chips like all of us!

It would appear no one is going to get a refund.  This is another reason why people should NEVER buy PREORDER!!!
I bet, I lost.  I'm not happy but that's the BTC gamble  :'(

Just remember the name: http://asicgigahash.com
Never buy from them!!

How about giving me BitFury USB instead?
hahahaha
