Title: Mods please help! client account banned without warning? Post by: mariak on December 15, 2017, 05:36:55 PM My client's account (link) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1034049;sa=summary) was banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum without warning. The bounty thread posted on the "Bounties" discussion board was also removed. The account was banned yesterday but to our knowledge, no posts were made from the account and no messages were sent yesterday.
I have already sent an email about this matter but it's been suggested elsewhere on this thread that the appeals email address probably isn't monitored anymore. We would very much like to appeal this decision, as no posts or messages were sent the day of the ban and no rules were broken to the best of our knowledge. There were also 7 pages of comments associated with the bounty thread that was removed including campaign reporting from several participants. I am posting here to hopefully get some help and an explanation from the mods. Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Mods please help! client account banned without warning? Signature Campaign Rules: 2. At least 1 post a week must be constructive and in the Globitex ANN thread You are not allowed to pay people to post in your own thread. I've seen this exact condition on several other bounty threads which are still up, but I see your point. Is there any chance the ban can be lifted so that this condition can be removed? As for other threads once they're spotted or reported they will be dealt with but just because others are doing it doesn't make it ok either.
