As a bitcoin holder I am very scared about this news,bitcoin is going to burst?
Experts please clarify my doubt.

Hmm, if you are looking at it long term, i dont think that you can consider bitcoin as a bubble. In the past people said that internet is a bubble. Yet it continues to exist and is used by people all around the globe. Same thing can be applied with bitcoin. Point is there is nothing to be afraid of. These investors are just saying things so that they can have the upper hand.

Nobody knows if Bitcoin can be the next bubble to burst. This is a debate that divide people in the past, today and even more in the next few months. The only way to know that it is a bubble is if it has already gone popped. Now, if you are really afraid that it can happen then the best alternative is to get out from cryptocurrency but if you feel that you are also a risk-taker then the best thing to do is to hold on and wait for its value to rise further. The people who risked are usually those who will reap the fruits of their 'gamble'. Let's cross our fingers that Bitcoin will really be a different kind of an investment vehicle or an asset (primarily because of its very limited supply) and it can survive well into the future.

There might be a bubble waiting to burst, to be honest I have no idea since it looks like we had a correction and now it is continuing as normal. It's weird because Bitcoin shows all the signs of being in a bubble, considering the insane rise and then the lack of any significant corrections beyond the one dump we experienced. I don't know what to expect in the near future for Bitcoin but it feels like we're close to repeating 2013/2014, it seems like a precarious situation for the entire community.

the first step of proving that bitcoin is indeed in a bubble and then start speculating about when it is going to burst. you are just assuming it already is in a bubble and then you are asking about when it will burst!

the best answer that i can give you is a "Maybe" and you can not be certain of it until price really drops, and drops big like 50% or more and also stays down not just come back up immediately like with every FUD dump

I see that it will affect the world's economists, because it can threaten them. and I think every country will pay more attention to bitcoin, and maybe one day they will recognize that bitcoin is able to improve the economy of a country and even the world

When the dot-com bubble happen, did many know that it will happen? If many knows that it will happen then many or all will pull out there money to prevent loss but they don't know that it will happen although some knows it and its the same in bitcoin. Yeah lets say bitcoin is a bubble but just a speculation, do somebody know when it will burst? None because its unpredictable. Maybe next week, next month, after a few hours. We don't know and there are some videos in social media that are saying that bitcoin is a bubble. Its easy to create videos even its just a speculation only. If bitcoin is a bubble then lets wait for it to burst.

I am not expert. Neither am I a whale or a huge Bitcoin investor. But I think it does not take an expert to say that the bubble will not burst, not for the next 10 years at least. There will be no other way for Bitcoin for now but upward because its real potential is not yet truly fulfilled. There are still so many people all over the world that have not yet decided whether to join in the Bitcoin world or not but are more inclined to join.

THere are 1,000+ cryptocurrency. The news knows of 4 of them and only talks about 1 of them. Bitcoin bursting? They have now fucking clue what they're talking about! They don't know what's driving this market...which is why they continue to say "it's a bubble! It's a bubble!" without being able to explain whyl

Using the "news" rationale, the remaining 995+ have a greater risk of beign subject to failure due to a bubble than Bitocin.

As I am no expert but still if you ask what will I do if another bubble burst happens then I will mark a marginal line while the BTC is going down like right now price is going around $17k but I know it can loose up to $2k and regrow back. But if it is going rapidly down and crosses my marginal mark then I would definitely sell, like for right now my marginal line is 12k but it will grow as price os BTC grows.

Even an expert can not determine whether it's a bubble or not. This issue is already in the past and until now it keeps repeating. Its already 9 years and still there are people who don't believe in the btc, but keeps making bubble speculation which makes the btc becoming popular. The exact value of btc is not yet decided so no need to worry about that bubble burst.

As long as bitcoin in demand, this bubble will grow on and on. The market still proves that its too far to the limit.

Bitcoin really shows significant signs of a financial bubble. Its intrinsic value practically does not increase. and the rate sharply increases at times only because of the increased demand for it. And this demand is caused by purely speculative aspirations - to get superprofits by increasing its value.
    However, on the other hand, the crypto currency is not an ordinary type of money. Earlier, something like it was not and we do not know how the crypto currency should grow and whether such an increase of its rate is the usual phenomenon for it. Yeah,bitcoin is getting more people among the people so it is good for the future of bitcoin the price will increase more in the future.But some people keep saying it is a burst but I don't think so because these people keep saying when the bitcoin price is at $55 or less but now the price is $18K,nothing happens like they said.We have to agree that fluctuation of bitcoin but it doesn't mean it will be end.So keep buying and holding your bitcoins bro.

You have to specify whether you mean the surge correction from ATH to $5K or whether you mean the final collapse in the distant future

if you do your own research i believe you should know that Bitcoin is not a bubble at this moment,
we are seeing this kind of movement due to significant increase in term of demand from other people.
lately we can see that bitcoin get recognized by some country for example japanese,
they're monitoring their exchanger for the past few months and decided to regulate it a month ago,
slowly but sure Bitcoin get approved by many people and because of that people think it's a good time to invest on it,
so what is bubble ? bubble is an asset that can be manipulated easily and do not have a solid foundation.
but Bitcoin is not that kind of asset,because even if the price pushed to the ground by the whales.
its supporter will not leave it alone and treat it as an opportunity,that mean it's zero possibility to reach $0 in the future.
so when the bubble burst ? it's not bubble and it will not burst.

no need to worry, because this is a great start, when bitcoin becomes very popular, it can be a price hike against bitcoin. and maybe altcoin would be expensive. and this becomes an advantage because we all have an advantage for our income

No one even knows whether this is a bubble or not, and some sensible projections state that we might be in for an even bigger gains (or bubble) by this coming year, with tops over $100000 and a million by 2020. I believe that this isn't a bubble we're in yet and big events may unfold in the future that is even greater than what it is today.

It's totally normal to be skeptical of what's been going on with Bitcoin lately. Whatever doubt you may have, I would still strongly suggest investing even a minuscule percentage of your money into this sector as the Bitcoin gives an earning opportunity I wouldn't want to miss.

It's a never endling bubble. This bubble keeps growing larger and larger due to the fact that it enjoys more usage on several levels of the economy. We have seen what a bunch of greedy average joes do with this market when buying in, and we're on the brink of experiencing what professional capital will do with this market. If we think things through properly, there is reason to think that this might be a bubble, there is reason to think that it's a well justified level of growth due to the far greater exposure, or the market has simply said been severely undervalued for quite a long time. Everything to a certain extent makes sense, which is why I am not that harsh on people anymore calling this market a bubble.

I've also read a news that Tokyo is going to finance the workers payments in bitcoin, if bitcoin is going to burst they should have studied it first, before planning to implements such thing.

I just can't imagine what a horrible story for Tokyo people if the bitcoin just burst.

I am not a guy who is fan of bitcoin exchanges or online wallet but right now I suggest you to keep your bitcoin from where you can easily cashout in fiat if there will be any reversal in bitcoin trend. There will be so much panic sell from newbie investors if any big profit taking will be there so we all should be careful.

Market might also stabilizes at current price range so you don't have to worry much about any sudden crash to zero or under $10k if you have bought at below the current price range.

It is really hard to know when it is going to burst, but don't forget that bitcoin includes the blockchain technology which is possibly the technology that is going to be used by banks and data centers in the future, that's why I believe that bitcoin is going to be worth a lot at the future, even if the bubble burst, you still stay with the technology it has, and it is probably going to be here for a lot of time.

As a very true believer of bitcoin, I am not afraid of any price dips or spikes, it's long all the way.

Bitcoin system is a digital currency and it's a bitcoin exchange or online wallet and right now suggest to you to keep your bitcoin from where you can easily cash out in FIAT if there will be any bitcoin trend and there is a panic sell to newbie and investors if take any big profit so all should becareful it's a never ending bubble because this is a great start and bitcoin when reach now.

After bitcoin went to 1200 in 2013 it went on a 2 year bear trend, but this time is different. There is so much coverage and interest that I cant imagine another 2 year bear market.

Bitcoin has reached a critical threshold and I believe the corrections and dips will be mild compared to years ago.

Think of it this way, facebook had an uptrend of 7 years....dont you think that this bitcoin crypto stuff is a little more important than crypto?

If you are a strong holder what the price does in 1 year shouldnt effect you. I think its completely safe to say that the price of bitcoin will be higher than it is now by 2020, the next halving could really send the price skyrocketing. Dont be scared.

What bubble?

No expert can give you a concrete answer to this question and if they knew when the price of bitcoin will burst ,then they will be making a huge amount of money with it,the bubble you are seeing right now is because of big time investors jumping into the bitcoin bandwagon after the CME group announced their derivative market plans and somewhere down the line we might see a correction.

did the bubble burst in 2011, and 2013? sure, you could say the hype ended and the price reversed. after 2013, the bear market was particularly long. and after we have another major top (next year?), all the bears will come out of the woodworks and proclaim that "bitcoin is going to $0" and "it was tulip mania" after all. this is natural in a bear market.

but after every successive bull/bear market cycle, the trend always continues higher---always higher highs followed by higher lows. this won't continue forever, but based on the signs of mainstream adoption i'm seeing (NASDAQ/CME futures, square cash, jp morgan saying bitcoin could be "the new gold"), i think we really are seeing the "s-curve" of adoption. this is like telephones, cars, television, smartphones.

if true, that means that the uptrend could continue until we have reached the "top" of the s-curve, and the world has completely adopted bitcoin like other technology that we use everyday.

Believe me, bitcoin will occupy the market in the future, this money will replace the current paper currency, keep bitcoin and you will be billionaire

I confident it is not a gonna be a bubble until the last bitcoin is mined, that's when it's price is gonna be so high it will became with no value.

It´s pretty hard to give you an adecuate answer because this is something that nobody can tell you with confidence. If this wasn´t so hard, so there wouldnt be any risk and everybody would buy bitcoin and maybe it wouldnt be so profitable. But it seems to be the coin of the future and you only can trust your guts to invest. However I don´t recommend to invert everything that oyu have as many people is doing because you never can eliminate the risk. The only think that probably doesnt have risk are the bonds.

The only thing you need to think about to know 100% certain that it is a bubble about to pop is this.

Why is litecoin, ethereum, or any other coin worth so much less than bitcoin?
There is no reason, they have all the same value and they can just create 1000 or 1000000 new other copy coins. Effective real value, ZERO. And soon the market will find out and it will drop like a rock to values we have not seen in years!

I know some of you will call on the network effect, but that is temporary, and it WILL CRASH!

Other than that, every single real bitcoiner that got interested in it for its p2p cash concept will cash out as soon as Lightning Network goes active.
It's nothing but a banker instrument that undermines the very principle of bitcoin. It only serves to keep the banks in power and make blockstream filthy rich, not to start an economic revolution.

If that news is true then I do not think the price will go down much of value because it could to generate more interest from the owners of the companies that would to want BTC to do that,but  definitely isn´t possible to tell if it's a bubble.

The core values of bitcoin are sacrificed every day and investors/traders dont care. The lightning network or something like it is neccessary because otherwise bitcoin is too slow and expensive to use as anything other than a savings account, and this undermines its intent as a currency. Its a catch 22.

Well, how do you say when yes, but when nobody tells you yet because the price goes up. Is it conceivable for 2 months to raise from 5k to almost 20k in 4 times. So while pouting and rejoicing, when will burst then and begin to cry.

It's actually depend on your view about Bitcoin, because it couldn't be burst if you see it as a real currency not a bubble. That's really impact because the valuation of Bitcoin is depend on the the trust of investors.

I see some fearing the bubble burst. It's not that bad. It's just a brief revisitation of price levels from several WEEKS ago and it goes back up. It's only really a concern for traders.

Bitcoin is not a bubble so don't worry it will not go back to those 4 digit value again but there might be some crazy fluctuations in coming weeks as there is a vicious focus of regulators on bitcoin and other virtual currencies I heard French government is going to discuss this in G-20 summit to regulate bitcoin but let's wait and watch for few months instead of investing in huge chunk.
