I sold my TV  📺 set, before I was able to invest on cryptocurrency. I was a student then and there was no other way for me to raise 💰 money than selling off my TV! I made a wise decision I guess!

Whats the craziest thing you have done while trying to invest on cryptocurrency

I was an escrow for a bet between two guys and holding their  money until one party is able to fulfil a mission before i can release the money to him and so i after learning of bitcoin and how my cousin was making little bucks from his altcoin rig decided to buy some old graphic cards with that money and i succeeded in holding them off  for a month before i could raise the money back and by then i already had an altcoin mining rig.

I'm crazy right now.... I put 60% of ALL my savings in the cryptocurrency. It's suicide, from the point of view of traditional money management.

I knew a lot of guys who are getting paid on their Credit Card, a lot of them are "burning" their credit cards on bitcoins, and they pay each month for that.

There are a lot of ways to buy bitcoin, but i will never understand how is it possible to see people investing in bit coin with credit card.. In the end, it will give you a lot of debts if bitcoin crash (hope to never see it happening)


The craziest thing that i did, was just to put all my earnings in bitcoin, it was a good move because i earned a lot of money, i haven't sold them yet.

I once bought some fun fair coin while driving down the interstate at 85 mph.

I knew bitcoin in 2011. I thought it was a Ponzi scheme and didn't care. It made me miss the chance. This year, I borrowed 20% of the money to invest bitcoin, and now I have made a lot of profit. I hope this is right this time.

I was stupid enough to invest in scam websites. Lesson learned: Never consider the idea of quick cash through 'too good to be true promises'.

I was unemployed for about 3 years (went to school for 2 but same thing, no income). I decided to go YOLO on BTC in september. Credit cards, balance transfers straight into bank account(yes it works!), and about 30% of my life savings. I figure worse case scenario, I have to pay all the money back and be left with exactly $0. Anyway, my YOLO paid off. I have no more credit card debt, all loans are paid off. Went to an auction and won a small house that I live in now, might rent out the upstairs after I fix it. I have some profit left over, my plan is to find more small business IRL, maybe another house, who knows, small affordable things that I can live off of in the long run. Very lucky this all worked out somehow lol.

I'm sure there are some back-alley personalities around here that have some thrilling stories about earning bitcoin in ridiculous ways, so it really gives me pause to even explain any of my methods/stories in a thread and label it the "craziest" things I've ever done in this respect. I remember a couple years ago selling my Xbox, laptop, games and some other electronics I had lying around for bitcoin; I can't say that it's too crazy, but it certainly makes it crazy when you sold an Xbox for over $5,000 (y'know, cause bitcoin is soaring). I used to mine bitcoins on my crappy laptop without a GPU, some of you may find that pretty crazy  ;D

I'm honestly embarrassed at how boring my methods of earning bitcoin have been, it almost makes me feel obligated to launch a service, game or something to contribute a little more heavily... What makes this thread kind of sad though honestly, is that the people with the craziest stories will opt-out naturally, because it's most likely those with the craziest stories that are unable to share their stories.  :o

i don't think i have done any investment around crypto that i could call crazy yeah i might have gotten some bad investment or have some bad judgement in some coin but its up to crazy level yet  ;)

The crazest thing that I invested to Primalbase Token which price 2BTC/token in pre-sale.
But some other will be much crazy when invest into main ICO with 5BTC/token.
 And now it cos 0.1BTC/token I think.

I sacrifice my full-time job outside. I have a family, it's a big risk for me becuase I don't have enough money, we have a lot debt but I'm still willing to risk my job in order to study and be a bounty hunter in a world of crypto. That's my craziest thing I've ever done in my whole life :) But... That's my craziest decision I made and change our life, from nothing to something.

I think I am not doing any craziest thing like you and I think my investment on crypto is like other people which is I only buy bitcoin with my money but I am not sold anything stuff I have. but I think in the past, the craziest thing that I am doing is I invest in some program investment with big money and fortunately, I can get my money back plus I can earn more profit because I have a good track record with the investment company.

The craziest moves? I took out a loan to buy a cryptocurrency, but fortunately I've paid off the loan now and gained more than 10 times the profit.

honestly i did not involve in any crazy thing , my earning last month are slowler than past month cause i have not much extra time out job, but always when i found an opportunity i will not miss it,

Going 90% on cryptocurrencies. I know this is kinda not a minority nowadays, but yea. That's incredibly risky if you ask me.

LOL. My craziest thing I've ever done is I asked my parents to let me sell the house to get money to invest in Bitcoin when Bitcoin price was only 1k$ :)). Of course my parents didn't let me do it and I suspended for a month in my house :)). For now when my parent know that Bitcoin price has increased from 1k$ to nearly 20k$, they feel very regret about it :)))

When the time that its my last and only money I have then this the time that I'm newbie in crypto that I didn't know that there's so many hyip out there, I put that last money to hyip,hoping to double it, then after 1 to 2 days of waiting there goes my money lost and I learned my lesson.

That's intelligent up to some extent unfair too  ;D
It is the benefit of being an escrow. I want to know about altcoin mining, with cheap mining tools so I can some benefit.

I ever lease my motorbike and in debt to invest in bitcoin, luckily it end up well and now I got 90% of my wealth all in crypto coins, I know it's very dangerous because crypto has been a tight surveillance by the government, but the profit is extremely satisfying
