Title: What to buy?
Post by: daserpent1 on July 21, 2013, 08:41:52 AM
I want to mine Bitcoins. What is the best thing to buy for mining now for a budget of upto $1500.

Please could you also mention the waiting time on the device you suggest.

2 options imo

1. With the long pre order and waiting periods growing upto a year.. best bet is to actually buy bitcoins froim a seller and invest them in shares..

2. Build your own GPU mining rig.. mine while its profitable else shift to other Altcoin mining and when yo are done.. sell the hardware off..

investing in mining company much better then investing in equipment. but it has substantial risk too, if you own equipment it is your. Just today one trader went lose with 700 btc of investors money. Good, I did not invested, but was considering.  I invested about 2 months ago in https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT and it been quite good so far. Much better then compared to mining.

buying GPUs and making farm  very technically demanding process, if not planed from step one properly, many things can go wrong.  But  mining LTC twice more profitable, compared to btc.

from equipment, best option is bitfury with delivery in October http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/25gh-miner-starter-kit-october-delivery/ fit your budget too. And later you can buy more mining modules and attach it easily to this starer kit.

Somewhere I have read ASICs are killing BTC mining.
WOW I was not able to post for a long time. I always get some one posted from my IP. Anyways, the forum should keep in mind that not everyone uses a public IP.

Invest that money in trading for Coins or real forex, much better chances of making something.

If you ask me you sound like a scammer in the making publicizing his own website.
