Money to invest for start : 10 000 USD - 14 000 CAD. The nvidia gtx 1080 are a good thing ? Im thinking to buy 7-8 .. and setup a rig. That a good investment ? I recommend you to take GTX 1080 MSI gaming x (Non ti version) and why the price is soo high for mining rig you could get like 15 GPU's and rest of components for that price. The time to recover your initial investment greatly depends on your electricity costs, the efficiency of your hardware, and, of course, the exact cost of the hardware. The 1080 isn't an amazing card for mining most algorithms, but its lack of popularity has made it a cheaper option (due to availability) in some areas.
