Hello ppl, what do you think, we will pass the threshold of 30,000?

For sure, but not this year. We only have 2 weeks left until 2018 and I doubt we would reach 30k by then. 21-22k would be my bet for this year if it will still follow the growth of price we saw these past few days. Even 25k is possible but that's pretty optimistic and won't happen as long as something positive will happen.

Doubtful at best since we haven't passed $20k yet, as always there is a chance that it will pass $20k and even hit $30k but with there only being 15 days left in December and still $10,000 to go, it seems unlikely at best and I wouldn't be putting any money on the market willing to put the market over that threshold. Now, of course, there could always be an additional bull run that would push the market over the various ATH goals we still have yet to reach, but, as I said, it seems like the year is too short for that to happen.

Get back to me once we crack $25k, and then there is a higher chance that it will also go over $30k. Right now it doesn't seem to realistic, but the rest of the year wasn't realistic either.

25k USD maybe, but I cannot really say. Every prediction that I make is surpassed by bitcoin, the market is growing fast and the price is soaring, it is uncontrollable.

We cannot say it exactly but there is a possibility. We have seen bitcoin increase 1k+ in a day in the past few weeks and the rate is still growing. If it failed to reach 30 000 USD by the end of 2017, maybe in January of 2018 it would. The market is growing very fast and this is good for all of us who holds some bitcoins.

I think it will not go over the 25k this year. I guess till end of the week 51 it will drop to 15k or 16k and them will go quickly up to 24/25k. My projections and graph reading showed me this but of course at the end no one knows what will happen. We projected it will reach 10k at the end of the year and look at it now where it is.

I don't believe it will hit $ 30,000. This moment it is $ 19,253. It will probably reach $ 30,000 in 2018.

No need to hurry up. Bitcoin can go stable and it will make this price next year maybe. Almost only 10 days left for the end of the year and this is not enough for such rise.

It is going up so fast, we all are waiting to see bitcoin much more stable than the actual price (but yes, we all want to see the price going up, i wont deny that)

But it is a bad sign for the new investors, everybody wants to get it, but they are blind, and they are putting all their money in here, this is good for us because we are already in, but they need to see an increase to have profit.

$30000 is not an impossible number, it will happen, but it will take a while.

Dont expect to see those numbers before 2018 because it wont be possible.

Very optimistic! I think $24,000 is a very fair guess. But who knows!? It's crypto currency. Anything is possible.

Well, of course but not yet. I'm sure we will pass $ 30.000, but .. i mean the end of 2017 is almost here, that's why towards to end of 2018, $ 30.000 seems quite possible to me.

We will definitely pass that threshold but i'll doubt it will settle for that price. I think after covering and fulfilling all of that bitcoin will decreased due to christ mass i guess.

Yes that is easily possible and I am pretty sure that very sooner we will cross that price and even it is chances that in this year we reach near to 50 K as the price of bitcoin is increasing much faster and as the price increase more investors take interest and more people come to adopt it for their lives and businesses.

I think it is still too soon for bitcoin to go pass your speculated price by the end of this year. I think it is achievable by next year or the next coming years. If it really did reach that this year, then I am sure the next following year btc would run a bearish trend and will tank for a while. Always remember that bitcoin is not always going up and for this reason,I think that by the end of the year it will be sitting at a price not far from it's current price today.

no one knows, but with the recent pumps that bitcoin had during the last few days, we can easily say that it will be probably be worth more than $25k by the end of this year.

It certainly seems possible. But even those who recognized the strength of this move early on had their sights set on $20k-25k. I think that's a more reasonable target zone for December. But it's anyone's best guess at this point. The next major top should be characterized by heavy volume, which usually indicates exhaustion of a move. We haven't seen that volume yet.


Did you see the monthly candles during past bubbles, with 400% + gains? We haven't seen those kind of candles yet. Maybe it won't happen this month, but it's probably coming soon.

That would be amazing, but I think it's not going to happen. If we hit $25.000 it will be already a big achievement for Bitcoin and Crypto-Currency in general. And even if this happen, won't last for a long time. The price will reach to that price and right after a dump will start. Things like this happen at end of the year, because they are important milestones for many, the end of a cycle, the beginning of a new one... And it will depend whales movements on the market.

perhaps but not this year i think maybe 21k for this year end.  .and that 30k is possible maybe month of February if bitcoin continue to surge without struggle in 2018.

why not? if you trully believes in bitcoin then it will possbly happen because there is nothing impossible in bitcoin. bitcoin will surely reach 30,000 dollars just before the end of the year based on its current movement these past weeks and sure it can last or stay for a longer time as long as the correction has been done. cant you see on these past days bitcoin is still on this level  and it didnt drop verry hard because the price of bitcoin has been already corrected. for sure this will also happen on the future new all time high of bitcoins.

I don't think bitcoin will get to $30,000 before end of this year but $25000 is my highest prediction. Bitcoin as at the time of making this post is above $19,000 the momentum is very high and let see how we go as event unfolding itself one by one.

Nope. I think the price ceiling for this year is probably around $25k. $30k is just way too crazy to actually happen in my opinion. Obviously i could be proven wrong, but i would not bet my own money on this event happening if i were you.

Even though we have seen 50% rises in short amounst of time, we only have less than 2 weeks time in the month of December. There is simply not enough time for bitcoin to break through $20k, and then $30k, when we've broken $10k just very recently.

It could happen in 2018, perhaps even in January. That's for sure.

If you calculate the time period it took to reach the value closer to $20000 from $15000 we can predict whether the price will reach $30000 or not. With the positive momentum it holds at present, we have possibilities of reaching out $30000. Let's wait and see, because just around 15 days were left.

Yeah, I don't think it would surpass 30000$ before the year's end and in my opinion, I expect 25000$ would be the maximum for the bitcoin to achieve in the current year. That would also be astonishing for the bitcoin to achieve the landmark of 25k this year but as you can see it has gathered a great momentum at this very moment, so let us see where it go as everything seems quite unpredictable right now since all values are getting smaller against its enormous hike making it more powerful than before...

If you calculate based on previous gains, then yes. I however can't discard a short term correction that might take the price down to sub $15,000 levels for a while. I think a lot depends on how CME enters today.

I am quite sure that the general expectations of what's going to happen today are massive. I even consider the expectations to be unrealistic considering that we might have CME already counted in at current levels.

We'll see where things go from here. It might indeed as you pointed out attempt to reach the $30,000 mark this year. One thing is almost sure, every correction that we face will not dump the market below the $10,000 mark.

30k$ is huge and I will be surprised if it would touch down to that price, but im doubting for that prediction since there so many things needed and yet the year is nearly ending and the point for predicting that is totally insane so for me the closest prediction to see is 25k$ since its nearly coming unto it right now and we have many days left to count to see if that price would really came. But lets also watch for sudden fall cames since theirs a stance that one would came after some huge pump.

During the Christmas holidays will decrease business activity. This should stop a rise in prices until the beginning of January. It seems to me that $ 30,000 is too optimistic scenario. But for me even the current price is already a gift. Every price increase of bitcoin scares me. I'm always afraid that this tale will ever end.

Reaching 30 000$ before 2018 will indeed be (very) difficult. We are now almost at 20 000$, so still a long way to go to reach 30k $.
But I have the same feeling like you, I am afraid we are heading to a big crash...

End of 2017? I didn't expect that the price will be fast on $19,000 and I'm thinking that this year bitcoin will end at $25,000. Many will say that it's not possible but why not give it a try, it's just a speculation and there's nothing wrong for speculating this amount. Since everyone's speculation before which is just an impossible one starting to be in reality.  It will be a good one if bitcoin hit $30,000 at the end of this year.

Seeing on the days or weeks left on this year then i would say its not possible for sure but we cant be sure because this is the thing we do say when we do speculating if bitcoin price would reach 20k and now we are hitting up and we are not still end of this year. We do have still 2 weeks but i would say this thing wont be enough to reach that point on a short period of time. We might see it maybe on 2-4 years in my own view.

Definitely! But maybe sometime in March of 2018 and not the end of this year. But I'm not saying I won't be happy if that happens, I might do a happy dance if I see my btc grew that much within just 2 weeks. But if we are being realistic here I think we will be stuck somewhere between $21K to $22K by the end of 2017.

I think 30000 seems a bit too high since it would need to gain an extra 50% to reach that however I'd go with 24000 also Bitcoin futures is going to play a slight role on the price of btc might even cause a little pop at first but eventually btc will recover.. It always does

Despite many unexpected prices has been reached in 2017, I don't think bitcoin price will reach 30000 dollar till end of the year. Seems that it is going to be stable.

In current market literally anything is possible. If we look back at the moment we reached the $10k level, it would need a 100% increase in order to reach where we stand today, and we managed to do that in such a short period of time. I have no doubt that if the market is going for it, we can definitely reach such levels, but the likelihood of that to happen are on the lower side. I think the most we can expect from the market, is to maintain a range close to the $20k level, which ultimately is a fantastic achievement for this year. How many times before have we had the honor of experiencing a near 2000% increase within a year?

The speculation that pushed the price around twenty thousand is because of the derivatives market and it will start on 18th and after that,never expect big rally as people might be selling off their coins when they are taking a vacation and either the price will stable itself or we might see a correction after these news. ;D

A few hours ago I was talking with my brother about it that it may happen in this month that the price of bitcoin will reach to 30000 dollars and I also said that if it not reached to that value in the end of this month then it is pretty sure that in the start of the next year it will reach to that value in the first week of that year. So I am agree with that point and I will say that yes it is possible for bitcoin to reach to that value.

It is not entirely impossible to reach the price of $30k by end of 2017. Anything could happen because new investors keep coming in recognizing the value at any price level upon reaching another new all time high. It is a remarkable year indeed for bitcoin and I hope to see another bull run for the year 2018.

Honestly, all this growth is starting to worry me. $1,000-$5,000 was insane. Now this $20K with a possibility of $30K around the corner leads me to believe that something will give...

Now it is not difficult for bitcoin to reach at this price $30000. But in the end of 2017, its mean within 2 weeks left to the end of 2017, then it is difficult for bitcoin to come at this price of $30000. But in 2018 we will see it and hopefully bitcoin will be come at $30000 before March of 2018. 

I think that we all are expecting to see that kind of rates, just think about how huge it can be.
But i do not think that it will happen before the end of the year, there are less than 13 days before the end of 2017.

Price this morning dropped a 1000 dollars, nothing new for bitcoin price. 30000 dollars in just 2 weeks is not impossible with bitcoin, but I doubt that we will see the price climbing so fast. Give it a time, I believe that 2018 is close and in next year bitcoin can rise even more.
I believe 2017 is already a brilliant year for bitcoin, every beginning is hard and bitcoin survived all obstacles for now. I will be satisfied with this price to stay until the next year, its not bad at all!

Realistic is completely up to anyone to guess, isn't it? Even if it gained $1k every day from today, 30k would be out of reach, and Bitcoin's only gained that much once in the past week. I'd not put it down as an impossible event, though, at this stage I am beginning to think there's really no rationale to Bitcoin's price, especially with this psychological desire to end 2017 on as high a note as possible.

Just to illustrate, last week's future trading didn't seem to do much even with the compounded week of South Korean regulations. If anything they both served to pushed it even higher, with the week seeing new ATHs. but I wonder if CME carried a lot more weight. Cash-settled futures shouldn't have had any effect, but BTC shed off the same 1k it gained 2 days ago so.

The current 19k $ price is something that most of people did not even dream at the beginning of this year,so even 20k$ will be brilliant end of this year.In my opinion price is going too fast up and every slowdown is welcome.Considering how unpredictable is BTC even 30k$ is not impossible-but it seems to me that maybe 25K$ will be the upper limit that is attainable by the end of this year.

After every price jump we have few days where price is stay around reached level +/- 500$ and then it jump in range from 2000-3000$.Now we are at 19k$ level and we're getting ready to attack 20k$, which is likely to happen soon..

There is always possibility for that to happen, but I think $30k for Jan. 2018, I think we will just experience the price of bitcoin for up to $20k-$25k this year, because as I notice with bitcoin price it is not bursting again. But we will not sure. If you want to invest with bitcoin because you're asking about it, why not invest with ETH and LTC.

It is not impossible (knowing that the price went from 1000$ to 19000$ in less than a year).
Lately Bitcoin price is increasing slowly (during last week it increase by ~2000$) if we assume that it will continue like that
till the end of the year then the price will be around 20000$. Few are those who expected Bitcoin to go that far.
Bitcoin still so volatile, it is impossible to predict the exact price by the end of 2017.

I won't say it does not give room for worry. The truth however is no one knows if this is really something that should make one scared or not, knowing that this could just be some high level of adoption we have all been waiting for considering the number of users signing up on exchanges every day. However, there is really no need for us to be so worried and get scared to pull the market down rather than being positive.

I dont think so . 20.000 wall is the biggest wall for this year and cannot be defeated while futures trading is on.
Also there are too many rumors about bitfinex and tether so 20.000 is the end for this year.

I think Bitcoin will reach $ 30,000 but it was less than 2 weeks before the end of 2017. According to my prediction, Bitcoin will reach $ 25k in the middle of 2018 and $ 30k towards the end of 2018.

I think it is possible, but that sort of rise would rival the best climbs in bitcoins history, so it could correct back some.

It does not seem likely that can happen at all, bitcoin is currently trading at 18k so we need a growth of 12k to reach that amount so we need at least 1k per day and while bitcoin can move like that, I think we are in a stage were people are preparing for the next bull run but we still need time before that happens, but I would not mind that happened since that will be an incredible Xmas gift.

30k dollars I think is big before end of this year 2017 . Maybe the possible price of bitcoin become 25k dollars and I think it is possible this week and the percentage is 80 percent. Many people for sure waiting the price become that price so they can earn money . But they have possible the price decrease and maybe we see 10k or 15k dollars before end of this year because bitcoin decreasing fastly also.

Okay! We have heard a lot of this already and if you feel it won't end well for you, then that is your call, but trying to bring some negative vibes every time is just not working.

If the market dips tomorrow, only those who are dumb enough to fall for it will, while those who are smart enough will see it as a better stage to even be getting more of the coin. For now, let us just keep living by the minute instead of hoping for things not to end well.

End of 2017 is what no one can say now, but I am really opened for any surprise even though it seems impossible at the moment, but with bitcoin, it looks like a lot of things could be possible. This year, we have seen some pretty huge move to the upward trend and no one could have thought it could get this better, but here we are. However, I am looking forward to ATH of $22000 by the end of the year.

Not reachable for this yearend 2017, not even possible for next year if the price of the bitcoin continues to be stable and or its price volatility is reduced. The bitcoin price uptrends mightbe different  in the coming year but the almost non-stop or skyrocketing price rises of 2017 may not happen again in 2018.

I think that we will not break this threshold, the bar is too high. But 25k is much more real. It remains not long to wait, so let's see who will be right.

The market is really growing fast and anything is possible. We expected $10000 at the end of the year and now we have over $19000, and would anyone have thought that this would get to this stage even before the end of this year when we never even expected that it could get to this stage by late 2018. Still, there is still a lot of fear with the huge rise in value, but I guess we just have to keep seeing how it all ends up happening.

It is possible and it may not be possible. Just within few days, bitcoin has increased before with a lot of marginal difference and I would not be surprised seeing any impossible happening at the end of the year. We have seen it all and no one knows how this whole thing ends, but for now, we just have to stick with the charts to just keep seeing where the market is going to lead us at the end of this year before we start another journey next year.

You are absolutely right bitcoin is attracting people more now and that’s the reason people are crazy about bitcoin and this craze will grow more higher because bitcoin is bit to fall and people who missed chance to buy it are now in action and pump is just to come and this time price will go surely above 22k and it will happen in next two days and I am thinking more than 30k to come before ending of 2k17.

Current price is telling a different story bitcoin will reach 25k in couple of days and at the start of next week it will be heading from 30k to the more higher values and yeah it is true because a large no of people are waiting to get into the community and they will be in soon and from that time and as larger the ending price will be the more genuine and great start will be taken by 2k18 so wait and see 35k will be the 2k17 last price.

I do not think that this bar he will take until the end of the year 20000-22000 is a very real bar at the end of the outgoing year but in 2018 there and all 30k will take without question

30k in 2018 will be too early if becomes possible, but it seems too difficult to break that level this year due to many reasons like less days remaining till December end, short-selling allowed on bitcoins, alts rallying hard currently due to most small traders getting their Bitcoins withdrawn through them in order to save fees and get quick confirmations. I recently sold my coins by buying qtum and sold it to a buyer where I only paid 1000 sats fee. The interest of userbase is increasing daily, but not the way it was when the surge was so fast. Now, they are involving in alts too which looks a major reason why I feel that we might not see 30k till mid-2018.

With the price now playing around 16,000 USD and plus I doubt that will be surpassed this 2017. But as for 2018 which is actually in just a few more weeks I think it can be but it will take some time, especially now that the price is decreasing again I think the highest it could reached during the year-end is 20,000 USD.

30000 dollars level a value of Bitcoin's price, so little time to end of the year 2017 and Bitcoin price approximately at the level of $16000. But still, it's been a good year for the year 2017 as Bitcoin.

For now, it seems impossible. Bitcoin hits 19.2K USD but now it is back again to 16.3K USD.
30k USD is a very high price and so far from the last highest price. 20K USD is more possible than 30K

By now the price has come low compared to the peak price that reached weeks back. With this too we can't come to a conclusion that bitcoin won't reach $30000. To end the year we have got about ten days, anything could take place. In such regard I believe the price will reach $20000 to the minimum.

I think bitcoin price increase $50000 in future

The $50000 is possible but maybe it is by year of 2018. For the $30k I guess on the first or second month of year 2018. The threshold for that amount is near to hit the target that Im also watching the market.

This milestone can also be achieved but not in the end of 2017 as we have already passed more than month and now only a week is left and the price is not even @20k and the market is not favouring its support at the current time so its really hard to reach $30000 or impossible at this year end but it will go far beyond that much price in the coming year.

This is probably not possible this year. At the price of 30k $ have to wait until next year. For now, it can't reach 20k $ and stay at this level.

I think $ 30k is pretty high for bitcoin this year, and I'm not too sure if bitcoin prices will reach that price for the year 2017, although I feel optimistic if bitcoin will reach that price but maybe in the next year, even for at this time of course bitcoin value slightly decreased because ahead of Christmas and New Year certainly can not be denied if many users who sell bitcoin for their needs to celebrate this big day.

Do not worry, the price already suffered a correction and now we are trading at 15000 the price is still very high and I think there is a good chance the price is going to stay there for some time after all we cannot reach all time highs every single week, we need a break and it seems we are going to get that break thanks to the Christmas celebrations that are near.

I think bitcoin will play at the price of 15,000 to 16,000 just wait for a little longer at this moment it creates correction and after how many days bitcoin will pump hard too when the segwit release the tx fee will decrease.

I don't think it will reach $30,000 until end of 2017, it's very high prediction with the current price of bitcoin. I think it will just reach to $15 - $30k at the end of the year. The $30,000 bitcoin price I think will happen by March 2018.

There are only four days left until the end of the year and we seem to be very far way to reach that price, the price will need to almost double in these four days and that is unlikely even for bitcoin especially if we take into account the huge market cap that bitcoin has already, if we were talking about an altcoin with just a few million in market cap it may be possible for the price to double in such a time frame.

Yes its looking difficult that bitcoin will become double in next four days, but at least it will easily cover its previous high price level and hopefully before ending 2017 bitcoin price is expected to make a new all time high record. And after that it is also expected that throughout 2018 the price of bitcoin will continue increasing and in next 7 to 8 months the price of bitcoin is even expected to cross 70000$, therefore i think we should hold our bitcoin for next few months if we want to make good profit from bitcoin.

Bitcoin is giving another chance to those who didn’t bought it at past and prices are now at 16.5k and I am sure this dump is leading us to the next record level prices and I am bit sure that people have already cultivated their profit from field and are now again in buying state to make more money in future and if this coming pump give us worth output then price will stop at the 35 till the end of this amazing year of profit.
