Will bitcoin go up even more than what it is now?

Since its going up, does that mean people are buying more or selling more?

God this is the BILLION dollar question right here that no one is able to answer, it's one of those things that I wish I would be able to answer CORRECTLY -- but sadly I don't have that sort of intel on the market.

Do I think it will go up higher? Yes, temporarily though.

This must all come crashing down at some point, I just don't know when.

Noone can answer this. If 'experts' give you a prediction, you should know that they can't predict the future as well. Just read the news and updates on Cryptos to stay ahead.

Bitcoin is the mother of All coin in this universe, Dude as you can see many people here says 'buy more!', that is definitely what I'll be doing too, more upcoming event will be held by bitcoin foundation in near future. think about it.

Bitcoin in future I sure it will be going up again more than now. My prediction end of the year bitcoin still going up.
Many investors try to invest in bitcoin. demand and supply still up, because of that bitcoin will going up fast.

It's a good question. But the fact is that if people are selling more there may as well be a dip in the value. For now it just appears that there is a lot of demand for bitcoin and people are investing/buying more and holding them.

This however is a good thing for the day trader. Day traders make quick profits. The volatility is most beneficial for them. Even if they suspect a fall, they will quickly sell it off to make sure that their losses are little. Overall, they may not incur any loss since they would already have made the profit needful. It is getting exciting. For the ones who have made a long term investment it is best to wait and watch. Who knows, the value may as well touch $25000 in a couple of weeks!

The thing is that if altcoins value too gets built, then there may be a total switch-over to cryptocurrency gradually. This will not go on though. There will come a time when the value of bitcoin gets stabilised. Until then, well, reap your benefits. I personally do not see a crash. At most it will remain stagnant at a value. So it is better to buy even now. If there are people in favour of buying it when there will be a fall in the value then I wish to ask what fall are we looking at - To $13000? Do you think it will happen anytime soon? No! Now is the best time to buy, be it today or tomorrow.

Bitcoin price will always fluctuate, therefor there is possibility that it will reach over the price in this moment. Is this moment for buying or selling, that is question that is bothering most of trading people. Most precise answer to that would be, buy when price is lowest and sell when its at peak, and do not ask me to explain it further more because no one can. So I guess that this is moment for selling.

i think people buy bitcoin for invest , get hf bitcoin and etc . end desember i think btc going down because people sell btc for happy new year hahaha

Short term -> don't think so. Maybe we see a blow-off top around 25-30k and then make some significant retrace.
Medium term -> Yes we will go go up even more.However consider some bear phases or just sideways movements for months to happen as an opportunity.
Long Term -> Oh hell yes we will continue moving up to 6 digits one day. However this may take us some years and therefore won't happen over night. Patieince is needed. But it will pay off!

When the market moves up, there is more buying than selling. What we don't know how much of this is real adoption, interest in Bitcoin as a store of value and technology. And how much is just greed, speculation for a quick profit. So expect the price to overshoot due to the speculation aspect and therefore some correction will happen. For how long and how strong that down move could be is hard to say. But I don't expect another 2013/2014 as long as no Mt.Gox like event is going to take place.

I have no idea what's going on with the price but it's really insane. I don't know what is making the situation if it's about CME or Bitcoin futures but I won't be so surprised if we have a correction for the next month or before. I am even to the point thinking that people may be right after all, bitcoin is a bubble

Bitcoin may be a bubble. From it nobody is insured. But it seems to me that his fate depends largely on us. Our behavior itself is pushing the price of bitcoin up. We hold the coins themselves create an artificial shortage. Until the popularity of bitcoin is on the rise and every day a lot of people join the bitcoin community, the price increases. But in the future when the influx of new people will decrease we can see how the price drops after the leave bitcoin speculators. But that doesn't mean bitcoin is a bubble. Bitcoin will cease to be funded by the asset and will be a real currency.

yes, in the long run price will be increasing as bitcoin grows more, adds new things like Lightning Network for example and has more real merchant adoption as a currency...

it means more people are buying more not just less selling. in fact there are still quite a lot of sales happening too. there are traders who get out because they reach their desired profit percentage or some people who want to reduce the risk or speculate a drop (right or wrong) so they act quick.

We all don't know exacty will happen if it will rise more or it will be dump. For me this is the best time to sell for those who wants to buy some stuffs or maybe a house for those who have huge amount of bitcoin. It is all depend on us or a holder if they wanted to sell their bitcoin or still hold it.

Bitcoin is going uptrend now we can say people are buying of bitcoin or trading in it. In this trend price is going up yet we cannot really say if it will continue to increase or there will be a correction.

Due to the knowledge I gain ever since I'm into bitcoin, the price per bitcoin during the weekend usually determine what will happen the next business day. So, I'm expecting bitcoin to surge to the $23,000 price range.

no mate the right time to buy is when bitcoin fall which is a chance to buy a cheap price than current price so expensive. And also when bitcoin still going up it means more bitcoin holders will hold and those bitcoin holders that successfully reached their target i think they will sell their bitcoin immediately cause of doubts maybe bitcoin will never go up because the valued is overdue. But there are people that not content even though they reach the target price. Which they still continue to hold while bitcoin exceeding to earn much profit .

At this point the trend is still up, but we're close to a point where things might become very interesting. In case we do manage to break through $20,000 in the coming days, perhaps weeks, we'll see the rush continue to extend further. If we remain below $20,000 for a while, we'll likely experience a short term decline. How far we'll decline remains to be seen since it depends on how much panic there will be, whether or not deep pocket entities are looking to pool their efforts together to get the market to sink as deep as possible to shake off weak hands, etc. If you're not a trader, then just keep holding through all this, because everything that happens is nothing more than a short term occurrence.

It's not a suprise when the price of bitcoin is going up because people are now slowly giving their trust in Bitcoin.

Yes it's not a surprise bitcoin is becoming big globally. And it is become well known any country that users adopts bitcoin to use and to invest. Hence, bitcoin is going uptrend and if price drops a little percent this will continue to rise.

Buying when the price falls is good to get some more additional profit than buying at an increased price. Because with bitcoin whenever the price falls low, soon retain of value takes place. With this in mind people who won't get into panic but keeps hold as well buy what is affordable benefits.

Good point. Getting to $20K and maintaining at its level is 2 different things. Because $20K is the new mental barrier for most traders, such barrier that they will might immediately jump at it and cash it out for easy profit causing the price to go down at significant levels. There are a lot of manipulators still, and we don't know what they will go once the price goes to $20K.

So yeah, holding is the only logical thing to do if you can't buy at this range. And then try to observe the trend. If you really think that its best for you to cash it out when it goes to $20K then by all means dump a few and enjoy your profits this Christmas holidays.

It is the question that everyone is asking everywhere keep in mind that nobody can rule the market and nobody has predicted the market 100% right so just follow the basic principles of the trading and do what the trending market principles say. I am expecting to move up because the demand is still good and there is no signs of correction are been seen. Bitcoin value now are silently fall down, but I guess it will not continue for long period of time. Since Christmas is coming more remittances and supplies of bitcoin will be used. That's why I believe that before end of this year bitcoin price touches the $20,000

In addition, I just sell my bitcoin this coming January 2018 because in my sight bitcoin price fall down. But I don't think how much it falls.

The answer is simple bitcoin prices are relying on users demand and the demand of user is bit high and supply is low and that’s the way things work in local markets that shortage of something bring prices of that thing to the higher values and same is happening here so don’t need to worry about it we all are getting profit from it and this thing is quite acceptable to use that prices are going up and more higher values will be welcomed.

Bitcoin price right now is dropping so I think a lot of us selling their bitcoin already maybe especially those who have big investment because it really drop hardly today. As what we can see. $5k drop from $18k. So there are many of us who already sell their bitcoins especially because its Christmas so expect that it will still drop until New Years Day for sure.

The price right now is expected to reach back at 8-9k better sell the bitcoin and wait till it is pump back again. Wise investors would be sellling their coins right now and invest again later.

A lot of the selling now comes down to Asia but I agree selling now after such a dip is ridiculous since it is likely to pump back up quite a bit and quite soon, maybe even reach a new all time high.

For now bitcoin price drops to $ 15k maybe because some investors withdraw their investments and sell bitcoins that causecurrent bitcoin price drop, but I believe that after Christmas and New Year celebrations,and bitcoin price will increase again. The bitcoin had already dropped to 12k yesterday. But right it is now back to 14k, I hope that the correction people are talking about is finished.

The price of Bitcoin is only temporary, the price will get much more higher when people stop getting their transactions stuck.

It doesn't look like it is going up anymore, and we may have just witnessed a trend reversal. Bitcoin has been on the rise since early this year with minor corrections, but now we may be entering the downward spiral with bunches of dead cats meeting us along that pat now and then. Let's face it, Bitcoin is old and outdated, so it is not certain that it will ever be able to make up for the losses suffered this week.

Bitcoin value for now are stable into $13,000 up to $14,000, it was starting to recovered from the deep. I think bitcoin price are clearly not touched $20,000 before end of the year.

Even though there is no chances that bitcoin prices get back into $19k but still I'm contented of what it shows right now. The trend of bitcoin in the market shows that, there will be a huge pump early next year.

I even love the little sideways we have been having so far and the trend at least for now will allow us to accumulate as much as we can as we keep going further around next year.

We cannot say there are no chances though, because we have really had some pretty good surprises, but for now, I would rather just chill and enjoy the moment until we start another journey soon. As per some technical analysis and traders psychology, we are still going to keep seeing the sideways for now until January, as there are still a lot of sideways resistance right now.

Bitcoin has been dropping in price lately and I think going up before end of this year is not possible! Currently bitcoin is just a little figure above $12,000 which I did not expect it to fell bellow that. I have been following and go through some of the comments people are making at https://reddit.com/bitcoin lately and I could conclude that there is no serious based for why the price is dumping so hard than traders taking profits from the past gain. People are not holding because some believe that bitcoin has make too much gain and it might drop hard any moment from next year. I think 2018, is going to be a  very fruitful year and I have speculate more upward movement in 2018.

yes even now the price of bitcoin is in the process of decline, but I also feel optimistic if next year bitcoin prices will increase even seem higher than previous prices, because of the good potential for investor growth that continues to increase in the next year.

I totally agree that we need to be very optimistic, although we really hate seeing bitcoin going to a down trend specially that we all have been expecting that it will reach $20K at the end of the year, what a reversal. Although the last massive bullrun that we have seen is unprecedented so it only makes sense that a pullback will also occur.

Bitcoin is famous currency sometime the value of this currency falls while in the long run we have seen that the prices were good in the market the market is fluctuated for many reasons like in the 2018 the prices were going up and we can get the benefit of high price. It is the nature if bitcoin that when the price fell down after some time it rise again and more than the previous one. The price is falling continuously these days and the cause is may be Christmas but soon it will regain its value in the near future and many people say that it will reach to 70k.

Yeah, whenever you witness the bitcoin price is going up that means people are buying more bitcoins and holding more not selling more. and when you see the price going down that means many people are selling and not many people are holding bitcoins. One thing to keep in mind is the market correction, whenever the bitcoin price sets the new all-time high record in value by the reaching the apex level, the correction will come in to balanced the market price.  

if same thing will happen better to hold again till next year and see how bitcoin will turned to., it will go up because of supply and demand

Now bitcoin is already at 17K. For sure it will be back to 18 or 19K in no time. After the new year the trend of bitcoin is already going up. I hope it will stay that way for a few weeks.

Exactly, that's the reason why bitcoin is fluctuate, because if we buy more bitcoin they have posible that our bitcoin value or price was increase. Anyways, bitcoin is already at $16k, and i think in this year bitcoin continue to increase and they reach $20,000 like what other said.

It is certainly that bitcoin  returned strongly.  Particularly within last 6 days , there has been a rise of more than 25%. As well, now the current price become $16 580  also the market cap evolved from 242 billion dollars to 284 billion dollars ( Means that there is progress by  42 billion dollars in just one week).
In my opinion, what happened is expected , especially at the beginning of this new year. I believe that this development will continue in the next period and maybe there will be a big jump of the value in February. Also, I would advise everyone to hold bitcoin because after that there will be many profits.

I think If I have big investment in bitcoin, I would just rather hold on it then selling at today price. There's no use of dumping it, the one that is selling today are only a few who can't really take the heat seeing their investment going down. That's why we always said that bitcoin is for long term investment.

Its too early to call though, last week bitcoin price was pushed to $17K, however up to today, we are seeing a sideways or even downward trend. Really hard to predict what will be the movement. But we need patience. We hate seeing it go in red, but the best thing to do is wait till the price picks up again.
