Yes, the withdraw fees are expensive these days due to piling up of unconfirmed transactions on the blockchain. But thew bittrex fees was 100k sats before too.
I would suggest you to exchange BTC to dogecoin and transfer to poloniex and then exchange back to BTC from doge and withdraw from there as they have only 10k sats fees.

you need to get another coins to withdraw to minimize the fee, or move to another exchange like Binance there are very cheap than bittrex

Every exchanger charge more when bitcoin is on the bull run due to unconfirmed transactions and congestion in the network

Bittrex is nowadays not user friendly.Already, they have blocked thousands of accounts and do not even respond to support tickets. Now,they have come again with an issue of very high withdrawal fee.

I don't know how they would justify this when poloniex still charges a withdrawal fee of just 0.0001 BTC which is ten times lesser when compared to bittrex fee of 0.001 BTC.

I think that most users don't use poloniex because of its poor customer support.

Don't fother Bittrex also control the minimum withdrawal per account as they wish, and in the end, they want to have an identity verification to be able to unlock they money. You can see at the announcement Bittrex thread mostly have a bad impersonate about Bittrex.

I sent btc to bittrex.  Thus whenever i withdraw btc, i know i have to pay the 0.001 btc fee which is 1 percent of the btc price.  So its around 19 dollars now.  However, wouldn't a way to solve this would be buy an altcoin... then sell the altcoin at another exchange?  Since most people here are using bittrex only to buy altcoins right?  Then again, it probably would be better to send it to another exchange and trade there instead?

Also if there are coins that are available in both bittrex and binance, do you always go with binance?

Transaction fees are really high at this moment due to more and more unconfirmed transactions on the network. But,  sending 0.3 with 0.001 fee? Actually that is not bad still your sending big money to your wallet 0.3 is a Big money. It's expensive for micro transactions yes. But, for transactions like that? It's not bad for a 20 usd fee.

Yes, the fee is very high even though BTC price has increased significantly several times. I move all of my investment to Binance with offers cheaper fee and many interesting activities.

Yes its expensive because you are valuing in based on the USD equivalent value but in that same vein transferring $5700 and paying $19 as fees is really still bearable to me as that is even .3% of what you are withdrawing. Which means it will still fall further if you increase the amount you want to withdraw since the fee is a fixed rate. We just have to do away with small payments this time.

If the bitcoin price increasingly high, so the transaction fees also will grow up, this is the big problem for bitcoin, transaction fees to high, i think many people will be afraid to using bitcoin as payment

yes the higher the bitcoin price the more expensive shipping costs are needed it is very reasonable if going see just how much now the bitcoin price, I would advise to use the delivery of altcoin like dogecoin very easy and very fast delivery process. and other altcoins.

Two weeks back, I withdraw BTC0.100 from cryptopia, and paid a fee of BTC0.002 for that transaction. At current exchange rates, that is equivalent to $40!!! I still remember the good old days, when I was paying around $0.10 for the crypto-withdrawals. And I am not even sure that most of this amount is being paid to the miners. A major portion is held back by the exchanges as their fees.

maybe if you think that 0.001 btc is too expensive but if take a look how much money you can get from the total amount. 0.3 btc is equal $5811.435 and I think if you pay $19, it is something that you should give to support the network. many of us have objected to the high fee that we should pay but we don't think that with this fee, we are helping the network and our transaction doesn't need to waiting too long. if the fee is too high then we can think that if we want to withdraw, make sure we have bigger amount to receive so we don't have to feel bad about the fee.

The price is expensive though Bittrex is a high-end trading website so you should be making enough money to have no problem with taking care of that withdrawal fee after you trade.

It still doesn't make me feel better about paying that much. Wasn't one of the arguments for bitcoin that you can send money around the globe quickly and relatively cheaply? If the price continues to increase, does this mean we're going to have to pay $50 to send money, and not complain about it because we are "supporting the network"?

How i can remember, the bittrex fee winthdrawl wasn't changed. Last year i paid 0.001 btc for every BTC withdrawl. so, everything is fair. if you compare with the fee in blockchain.info (2 weeks ago i paid 0.009 btc fee), you will feel the difference, so that's not so bad.  Just dont make not urgent small transactions and dont load the blockchain more. If you need money right now, good choice to buy some alts, withdraw them and exchange in the crypto exchanger to your home currency.

this is not new. bittrex is one of those exchanges that have been overcharging people for fees for a very long time even when the fees were extremely low and you could even send a transaction with a 1 satoshi/byte fee which was practically free.

it does not just stop there either. their trading fees are also huge compared to other exchanges. most places charge 0.2% and good exchanges charge 0.15% and even lower based on your trading volume. but bittrex is charging 0.25% which may seem like nothing but it accumulates to a big amount.

also you should check out their announcement topic in the services board. they have been scamming people and even selling their information that they use to verify their accounts!

The withdraw fee of Bittrex is 0.001 BTC all the time and I think it's not too expensive :D. If you want they to decrease the withdraw fee that mean your transaction will take more time to complete. At the moment when there are a lot of stuck transaction, this amount of withdraw fee will ensure your transaction will never being stuck :D

due to the sudden rise in prices many of us have been facing this issue.
the best solution would be to convert it into some other crypto and then withdraw.
but make sure you dont choose any random crypto and get your money stuck in there.

I agree to you dude!! Bittrex increase the withdrawal fee to faster the transaction if bittrex not increase the fee this means your will be slow and stuck to uncorfirmation.
And most of exchange site now are increasing the withdrawal fee only poloniex are still in 10k satoshi.
If you want a small fee transaction then turn to ethereum, litecoin and dogecoin this three have a small fee transaction.

It's not that expensive when the bitcoin price is ~ $ 5000 then the withdrawal fee is only $ 5 but when the bitcoin increases drastically, the value that you pay for each transaction increases.

I think 0.001 at this time is a bit expensive because the Bitcoin price has grown very high. In the future I am sure Bittrex will consider this adjustment and most of the exchanges will reduce the fees to suit the needs of use.

after this sky-rocketing price of these bitcoin, a huge number of unconfirmed transactions in blockchain exist. so i think this is the reason why transaction fees are too high for every single transaction, for about bittrex withdrawal fees, its nothing change, 0.001 btc withdrawal is a fix withdrawal fees they implement before. and the changed is the value of bitcoin which is too high.

19 Usd (0.0001 Btc) fee is really expensive. You may not have feel this as you withdraw 0.3 Bitcoins but think of anyone is is withdrawing 20 USD and he has to pay almost similar amount in fee. Bitcoin is becoming expensive for short amount of withdrawals and payments and it is just because of its very high value.

0.001 btc has been the going rate for a long time now. 0.001btc was not so bad before but now with the rise in the price of bitcoin it is too much. One of bitcoins main selling points was the fact that it was very cheap/free and very fast some even calling it instant. We now know that is not the case. I really wish and hope this is sorted out I miss making transactions and I need to pay for things. With the current fees I will only ever buy things in bulk.

I would gladly pay such a fee, because for a few days the rates have risen so arbitrarily that they are absolutely unpayable for most small bitcoin holders who are just making their first efforts to accumulate some satoshis by different means. Currently, Xapo is charging more than 0.003 in fees per transaction and that seems absolutely unjustifiable to me and that is why and I am about to end my relationship with that wallet provider.

Unfortunately this transaction fees are the worst part of the bitcoin and I think this will effect its future. If people start using other main coins just because of transaction fees, that wouldn't be good for btc's future.

In line up with the continues popularity of bitcoin and its value, is the increase also of the fees and charges unto it. Thats the number one problem of the trader or bitcoin holder now. Unreasonable transaction fees for those no choice traders. Hope some companies or organizations make it less.
