Our bid was valid. 0.5 is divisible by 0.02. Nope: 2/4/6/8/10 are divisible by 2 And 50 is a multiple of 10 and therefore divisible by 2. 50/2 = 25 Even numbers are divisible by 2 (2/4/6/8) Odd numbers are not divisible by 2 (1/3/5/7/9) THat's why none bid 0.13 or 0.15 or 0.25 and that's why i didnt bid over at 0.52 (and many others didnt) And 50 is a multiple of 10 and therefore divisible by 2. And 25 is odd (not even). Good guy Theymos (who among all other responsibilities) has to teach silly people like OP here such low level math. The auction starts at 0.10, while the minimum increment is 0.02. Remember, this is the person y'all are entrusting with access to your exchange accounts and funds, as if he wouldn't be using it for personal profit and nothing else. Something is evenly divisible when it divides without remainder. Division is defined as dividend = quotient * divisor + remainder, and in this case quotient must be an integer. 0.5 = 25 * 0.02 + 0. 0.1 = 5 * 0.02 + 0. So 0.5 and 0.1 are both evenly divisible by 0.02. But for example 0.17 would be invalid because 0.17 = 8 * 0.02 + 0.01. It has a non-zero remainder. But I usually just round down to the nearest lower valid bid when someone posts a bid with an invalid increment. After such revelations that push the developer's reputation further down the drain, would it be too much to question whether or not Gunbot is a scam? Can't decide whether to laugh or to be disappointed at this logic. Probably both. I fail to see how a screw-up (albeit in basic math and thus quite embarrassing) equates to his program being a scam; you should probably take a few step backs to try and come up with evidence that won't embarrass you. I personally trust Gunthar and I find this thread just an attempt to tarnish (someone having personal vendetta maybe) his reputation he earned over by selling his GUNBOT
GUNBOT trade logs are available to everyone and everyone can check their trades. Everyone can verify that and till now no one has complained about GUNBOT. It is my understanding the "Gunbot" does not have the ability to withdraw any funds from users accounts. I also understand it uses certain logic, based on input from the user and is not centrally controlled. A (potential) customer may choose to not use his product as a result of this, but I don't think this is evidence of a scam. I have seen many positive reviews by reputable people. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time and his software Gunbot has been used by the many and is a trusted piece of software. He doesn't have access to your funds, and the program in fact should be viewed as a aid rather than something that can make you money.
How you've made a new account just to slander Gunthar is certainly questionable though. You two have obviously exchanged words before, and didn't want to make such a accusation on your main account.
