People are moving from BTC to altcoins now that the Bitcoin news has passed. I saw the Bitcoin dominance decrease from 67.25% to about 51.5%, anyone know where the bottom will be for Bitcoin and the top for Altcoins? I want to know when people are fully moved into altcoins so I can sell before a correction occurs. Maybe bitcoin dominance might decrease all the way to 20% and we'll have a altcoin rally like we did in the middle of this year.

In time we will see alt-coin dominance only increase as it is many coins vs one, but in the shorter term I feel that the alt-coin rally is nearing its end and bitcoin will soon break towards 20k and beyond. Most alts now are holding stable or pumping slightly but no huge ground is being made overall today and so I feel like that's a sign that the time is near. Then again we may see alts rise again tomorrow and have another big pump.

Btc dominance = 20% lol how it is currently 50%+ which is $318 billion++ and you saying suddenly one day out of no where alts will rise so high that it reduces to 20%.


That rally was really short and btc was leading even during that time since then alts kept on falling and btc gained huge amount of attention which led the price reach so high. Alts will rally now but there is a less chance of btc getting affected by it.

They are but again don't fall for it , this might be a year end rush and not a permanent price point , I'm not saying that avoid trading just be cautious.

Maybe I am a newb or I am just optimistic but we are seeing a huge shift of money from BTC to altcoins. 2009-2017 was the year of BTC and it has been proven again and again every month. But as you can see, BTC dominance is slowly decreasing from 95% down to 52%. Honestly, 2018 will be the year of ALTs. We are seeing coins like Ether, Iota, Cardano, and Lisk that are faster, more efficient and you don't have to mine them at all now. Technology is changing and it is changing quickly and after the dust settles BTC will be obsolete.

I think this is a short-term event.

Poloniex and Kraken both are having hundred of thousands new registrations every day. The new people who are entering the crypto world usually knows only about Bitcoin and may be Ethereum. So they will buy those two.

as far as I can catch it's only the btc correction before it goes even higher like 30-40K. can't believe it's happening but it is what it is. maybe someone know what time frame all alts will back bleeding?

I think altcoins can increase rapidly when BTC's price be down in short-term, but both of them will increase in the future. After all, I think just only the cryptocurrency has fully capable of dominance in financial field.

I agree for the fact money will go into alts but 20% BTC dom is pretty crazy dude. That would mean hundreds of billions of dollars will flow into alts and as much as I want that to happen I don't forsee it happening. Maybe a 40-45% BTC dom but that as far as my bullish expectations go.

BTC is now out of most peoples reach unless they invest in increments or futures. That being said, it's obviously still not too late to invest in BTC.  I just think people like to think in whole numbers and want something that will do what bitcoin did.

Altcoins are going up so fast, but there is something that i am in love right now.
this is the first "huge altcoin pump" of this year in where almost all the altcoins went up by more than 40% and bitcoin is stil GOING UP, this is incredible, it didn't happened before.

Meanwhile, top altcoins supreme, people get in these alts to get rich. People who trade in ALT coins can make tons of money while at the same time holding “investing” in the top 3 coins. I’m happy I hold, to the Moon!

Everyone who starts in the crypto-world starts with bitcoin so it will hardly fall below 30% - 40% at least for the next 2 years

I guess the time for altcoin to rise almost comes and the bitcoin price is down although we have a big chance to see bitcoin price is back to increase and altcoin will go down again. but I realize that this is our chance to watch the altcoin price and if we can sell right now, we should sell it before the altcoin price is back to the bottom again. I think it is enough if we can make a little profit from selling our altcoin and we can buy back again if the altcoin price is down again.

Once bitcoin hits below 50% dominance, we will see an absolute bloodbath. Expect another monster Bitcoin rally at the end of the year.

We have seen this movie before. Bitcoin is a taking a rest while altcoins are
going crazy. Soon bitcoin will start moving up again and altcoins will slow
down. Hopefully not have  huge correction like the one in summer.

Well, it will be so, many founders are already disappointed in bitcoin, which means that the price and demand will fall further. That is altcoin now will be very in demand, and bitcoin on the contrary can completely disappear.

it can't be determined. Honestly, the majority of altcoins reached its peak in these days, how the crypto market goes crazy after the bitcoin futures contract already issued. When you are seeing big candle of bitcoin it should be considered as the correction but the bottom will have a various price. We will see what will be happening with altcoin but as the more platform runs perfectly especially it can be built dapps in there and we will move toward another all-time high.

The whales are trying to play around so the can get profit's from both market at the same time! Bitcoin dominant will resume by next week and you will see that fund are going to flow back to Bitcoin market again. What is happening is just flipping in other to take profits along the way. I am thinking that the end of altcoins bullish trends are close and Bitcoin is about to get pump again. Note this is not a recommendation for you to buy or sell your coins I am just make a personal opinions.

I have observed altcoins become green moment. Maybe most swing temporary into altcoins because they have see a future on some altcoins. Morever, altcoins also can be profitable in a way of buying those cheap prices. I think this is temporary because it happen always people moves from btc to altcoins in correlate to have profit.

This is what I’m waiting for. I believe altcoins are preparing for a big pump early in 2018. In the past days altcoins are showing some power to remain on track along with bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is our future, i believe on this.

We live in certain periods every year. Now we are at altcoin era.
We have to close this era by making as much profit as possible :) Prices may fall in a short period of time.

I'm probably going to just keep 25 to 33% in BTC. But it might not matter if BTC goes down so do most of the Alts!

What usually happens when a sharp rise like this is seen, is a big correction on BTC and alts. Zoom out for the price of alts against btc over the last 6 months. It's not good news.

i don't think bitcoin will disapear but any thing can happen when the markets go crazy....

You have to find the altcoins that are still undervalued relative to their competition. Eg. SpectreCoin (XSPEC) has very competitive privacy features and PoS, which I believe will prove superior to PoW, and due to lack of marketing it is still very cheap. If convinced, you can buy it on Cryptopia and LiveCoin.

Already we found the correction almost 1.5k USD in the price chart, keep expecting more correction will not be perfect move on investing on crypto currency platform. Try to utilize this situation buy the bitcoin as much can to get the profit with the amount you are investing on it.
As op expected none of the altcoins will crossed the bitcoin's price and growth m it will be always number one in the market.

The Bitcoin dominance is at 45.05% right now. Its gone quite low.

Only a few days ago was at ~65%  ;D

This was expected, BTC is still very inflated but the trend appears to be changing.

However it ilwill be recovered soon bro. If you look complete bump comparison of this month alone you will find how much shows its potential in its price growth. But altcoins always fluctuate in the chart and usage also not bigger like btc or eth.
Have checked the today's trend again price bumps on the chart. We might find the bump very soon.
