Title: Will Etherium mining advance to ASIC hardware soon?
Post by: slickskin on December 19, 2017, 03:15:13 AM
I made a previous thread about a week ago asking for information about how a new guy can get started with some mining with a GPU. I quickly learned the ship has sailed for mining Bitcoin and even litecoin now too I guess. Does that mean that Etherium being that it's worth even more than litecoin will no longer be able to be mined with reasonable profit with GPU? I'm actually thinking of investing in 1-2 GPU to start almost solely for the purpose of etherium mining but if it's going to be unreasonable to do that within a couple of months that might be wasteful.

... unless of course I can still mine other stuff like monero with these cards okay and then trade it for bitcoin using one of those exchanges.
