I am really  not in doubt that bitcoin will hit $1m per btc. It has gained over 3000% in less than 1 year and then it can gain much more than that in same period even in 2020.

it would be exciting to see both. Bitcoin reaches the million dollor mark at 2020 and McAfee eating his own dick on TV. But I rather prefer seeing bitcoin reaches a million dollors. But if bitcoin doen'st reach it and this guy do what he said, Then I think he is crazy.

He can be true but it's very far from the price today. I think it could happen some years after 2020. He should start eating his dick right now if bitcoin fail to reach that point.

Though he's already an ultra rich individual, he needs to hype up more for his personal investments.

That prediction is not far from reality, look at the Bitcoin price today and read the Bitcoin history and know the price of it wayback 2009 when it started, the price accelerated during this last quarter of 2017 and if we get this as a marking point, we can see this prediction happened even before 2020.
But what i'm waiting is to see him eating not his dick but his words... ;D

Don't. There is a lot of cash going into that though that money will get played. The real investors will invest in actual Bitcoin.

I guess, the reason why John McAfee bet this kind of bet (eating his own dick on TV) is because he really believes on the capacity of bitcoin.  His confidence in bitcoin is extraordinary.  I also trust bitcoin but not to this extent (lol). I am just curious if he can really do it if bitcoin price do not reach amounting $1,000,000.00. Can he prove that he is a man with word of honor? Anyway, will people remember his bet after three years?  Anyway, let us just wait and see.

Bitcoin is higher than his modest prediction currently.  It is on its way to 1M before November 2018 at the moment, so 2020 is just a nice easy round number that is safer for him.

ONLY Bitcoin is on the stock market ticker, futures market, banks, Visa cards, 200,000 retail stores, countless websites that are LEGIT.
All other alts are ONLY good for trading for other crypto. 
They are decades behind Bitcoin.
ALL other alt coins directly follow the same path on ANY exchange chart.

I am also having a similar opinion. An exchange rate of $1,000,000 per coin would mean a market cap of around $17 trillion (for comparison, the market cap of gold is around $6 trillion). And that would mean that almost 7% to 8% of the global wealth is concentrated in the form of Bitcoin. I don't think that this is going to happen.

John McAfee is just joking, or bluffing. Bitcoin will not reach 1 million, not even 500K, in 2020. Although we've seen bitcoin  go up from less than 1K to 20K in a year, it's hard to believe it will increase from 10K to 500K in 2 years.
We will not see bitcoin hit 1 Million in 2020, nor will we see John eating his little John.

It seems to me that by 2020, bitcoin will not be able to reach the price of one million dollars. Given the problems that bitcoin has now, it seems to me that such a price for bitcoin in two, two and a half years is not real. In addition, when bitcoin rose to $ 20,000 in December, some states immediately stated that bitcoin should be treated cautiously as a financial bubble and did not recommend its citizens to get involved in it. If bitcoin again starts to rise sharply in price, states can take measures to protect their economy by restricting circulation, or even temporarily prohibiting bitcoin on their territory. This can significantly hamper the price growth of bitcoin. I wonder if McAfee will keep his promise if he loses?

I do not think John McAfee's statement is simply a statement. There is definitely a purpose. I still believe in the growth of Bitcoin, but must be in a certain amount, about $ 10,000 - $ 12,000 by the end of 2018. That is in terms of monetary value. As for the intent of John McAfee, I can not guess. What do you think is better?

John McAfee talks a tot, probably too much. I read somewhere that he chose that exact value following a growing pattern, it's not a value that he choose random, but now we're already below that pattern so every day there are less and less chances to see it happening for real.

In the long run, bitcoin is at a very low price.
So it's possible that the bitcoin will reach $200,000 by 2020, so I think it's quite possible.

I also believe he choose that value for a reason, based on some Chart patterns.
Bitcoin held around 7k for a few weeks and is back above 8k.
I do believe the end of 2018 will be $20k.
End of 2019 will be the deadline.

Bitcoin is now an option on Craigslist for buying cars.

Bitcoin also good for trading and not for payment but its not the reason why the price can not increase.
Altcoin also has their own price and it has up and down too so i would not only see bitcoin futrue but altcoin too.

I can't wait to see that he will going to eat his Dick on year 2020 because for sure $1 million is very huge amount and very impossible to reach. Why? Simply because the more the Bitcoin become expensive it will be the more difficult for the others to buy Bitcoin at very expensive price for an investments especially that most of the investors are belong to the middle class investors in which if the Bitcoin become more expensive they will be force to shift to Altcoins as alternative investments. Except if McAffee in his big whales associates will pump up the price using all of their assets which is very dangerous too then the possibility of $1M will be possible.

Some of McAfee's claims about bitcoin seem to me to extend the limits of credulity, which in itself is not new to a man as unbalanced as McAfee. For example, in 2015, he said that the terrorist group, Islamic State or ISIS, had "tens of millions of hackers" in its service who were about to start a cyber war “far more devastating than any nuclear war”.

I can't wait to see it. And good really want to see his forecast come true.

The problem with the dude is he's too in love with himself, and quite possibly a murderer and, well let's not even talk about his child bride.

the funny thing is because people kept paying him attention and repeated his bullshit over and over, he could make $1 million dollars multiple times with his advertising the ICO scams and getting paid to do it and also the altcoins he pumped and dumped and made profit...

That is funny to say but might come to pass though, he might be right but with the situation currently in the market I don't think that is easy to achieve by 2020 we are just 28months to go and the market is still in bearish mode , he also predict the price of btc by May 2018 to by $15000 by June and later changed it to July but all in all we are in early September and we are even less to $8000 and with the situation at hand the price looks more like being force up. But who know the 2020 might come to pass ,let just sit and watch while it's last.
