can't get my BCH electrum wallet connected to any network.  Which one do you use?  Want to sell it all!

It says 9500 for me over there. I think they suspended trading because it got so crazy. I'm over on binance where its jumping around between $3500-$4500.

Coinmarketcap shows it at about $16,000 so it an issue with exchanges. It could be a flash crash and will good to bank on it. Buy few if you can

Unfortunately I'm not holding BCH, just seen the price going moon.
The buying are disabled at the moment, dunno about the selling and cannot check cause of 0 BCH.

Thats not unusual, if you are in Bittrex and BCH/BCC announced that they are listed to this or that trading platform, most likely the price will shoot up, but its temporary, price will settle and slowly go back to where it came from. Its a good way to earn fast money, but you also need to be fast in selling your coins if you have no plans of holding for a long time.

This is crazy, it just shows that crypto trading is really unpredictable.

I was not able to hold my bch because i thought when it reach around $2000 it will be the highest this december and sold it.

I think this is the effect of information that the co-founder of bitcoin.com-Mr Emil Oldenburg, who has sold all his bitcoin, stated that bitcoin is a worthless asset and invested his money in BCH.

For BCH holder, this is the fruit of BCH's patience which cost only $ 300 at the beginning of the year now goes up and produces a very satisfying result due to trading with bitcoin that is already over priced. maybe BCH will be a good Altrnatic trading

lol, nope.  I don't think anyone cares about what these guys do to a level of impacting the price.

Looks more like insider trading:
1. difficulty adjustment has always been a dip for btc
2. sudden investment/pump in bch and shifting a few hours before...
3. coinbase surprise activation


I think if you were a whale, this would have been known.  They clearly knew about coinbase.  If this were stocks the feds would be swooping right now.

This will reverse and the noobs buying up BCH will be left holding then bag. Same with BTG.

Pumping the centralized coin will make satoshi's vision put into waste.

Are you allowed to sell the coins on there or is their wallets disabled? That price means nothing if the wallets don't work.

It is inside trading and pumping up the price! Trade volume is not that high and orders are really small!

This kinda behavior is the reason big banks are saying it fraud!

EDIT:Okay no the price dropped to 3500$, in coinbase! They lost their credibility!

EDIT2: All open orders for buying at <8500 vanished on GDAX!

I think BCH is backed by online gaming and porn as a spendable currency, so I think that it will readjust but not collapse, and will gain long term.  Something usable, with a brand name and a low fee is a good thing for online commerce.  Its a shame core is focused on offchain scaling, a small blocksize increase wouldn't be as drastic as made out and i think a lot of pain would have been saved if there was everyone pulling together.

This is a good time for people who are holding Bitcoin cash. They should sell it to get profit now. It's just a pumping of the whales when they shift from BTC to BCH. They will sell BCH soon to come back BTC when its price is low

It was FUD, from Emil who put all his money in BCH his attemp to devalue BTC.

Looks like Coinbase was not able to handle the surge in BCH's price and that's why they have halted the exchange for some time.
It's ridiculous seeing some shit currency go up so high in price. On the other hand the price of BTC has gone down and this could be a coincedence.
It seems to me like they are manipulating the coins and pretty much getting successful in it. BCH has crossed $3500 on coinmarketcap and the sudden surge makes me wonder how soon the coin will dump.

Well i cant say i am totally blindsided by coinbase adding bitcoin cash to their site. After all there has been talk for months of this being in the works. What gets me is how it made bitcoin price drop so drastically due to a simple listing.  I also do not think the price that is listed on coincase is warranted in my opinion. I hope coinbase is not going to start listing trash coins just because they carry the name bitcoin.

Exchange market company didn't see it coming. That glitch alone could give you real profit and even make some others to become millionaire in just a blink of an eye. How i wish that'l happen to my bitcoin wallet sometimes in the future too. :D

No, it's not actually. It's a not so classic pump to soar move by Roger and his disciples. They down't want to leave Bitcoin Cash followers holding the bag of shit, they want Bitcoin Cash to take off. One way to do that is generate some hype, they know some of the public will follow...but I guarantee you they don't want a short spike so they can make some money and leave. They want to change the world!

Bitcoin cash will never replace bitcoin, people are buying bch only because bitcoin mempool is full of unconfirmed transactions and fee is high. Many whales are spreading fud that bitcoin fee will remain like this however the fact is that it is just a temporary increase because miners are mining bitcoin cash rather than bitcoin right now.
