We are team BitUniverse. With weeks of development, we finally finished our Ethereum Wallet project and integrated it into BitUniverse app. The wallet feature will be in future a multi-assets wallet, supporting bitcoin and other altcoins. BitUniverse is an all-in-one cryptocurrency portfolio manager, with features of realtime price tracking, manually adding portfolio or importing portfolio with api, and a build in wallet.

It's the first time when I hear about BitUniverse. It will be a very hard task to get the community to use your wallet while everybody used to use myetherwallet by default.

Yes. It's hard. But we will make more efforts to gain the love of people. People may use the other features such as portfolio first, and then they'll trust BitUniverse more. ;)

Good work, it is eth wallet so does it provide private key to wallet owner and is it also compatible with all the erc 20 tokens?

Can you give a clue about what was the security measures that already enabled on the bituniverse? The security becomes the main thing at this time which so many cases about the ethereum hacked in the parity and another wallet of the ethereum itself.

Well its good to see that a new wallet has been developed to cater for Ethereum. There have been lots actually, so its gonna be hard for you guys to penetrate the market. I'm not looking down at you, but it seems that you don't have budget to market it yourself. Because I'm thinking probably a good signature campaign will put your product and expose it to our users here.

But anyways, good luck. I suggest you make some Legendary members used your wallet and vouch for it so that we will at least gain a "reputation" for being a safe wallet.

This is my first time I heard BitUniverse and it sounds interesting. Before this one, I used Coinomi for saving my multi-coins. I'm sure, this thing will be used around the world. All feature needs from the cryptocurrency worlds are combined into one place called BitUniverse, I think BitUniverse need for a feature that track the incoming & outcoming transaction.

I'd love to use a new wallet with just one extra feature: the ability to correctly determine dynamic gas fee. I already am very happy with MyEtherWallet, it's secure, lightweight and almost perfect. If your wallet is anything like MEW, but with let's say, the beautiful GUI of Waves combined with the dynamic gas fee that's accurate, then I would consider changing.

But we also need a really good open source multi-coin wallet. We have Jaxx and Coinomi, but I don't feel either are very very good, it needs to be something super light like Waves.

Basically what users want is just cheapest, most secure, most easy to use. Anything else is usually just toppings that we don't necessarily desire.

Can your wallet can hold and manage ERC20 tokens in a single wallet?

Multi asset wallet is definitely a huge plus for crypto currency, i haven't heard much about bituniverse but it is always nice to have an option when choosing wallet, especially erc 20 token which is used by a lot of people.

I checked the app and installed it into my phone but seems there are only few coins are being supported and will be no use for me having plenty of tokens and coins but only few of them were listed. The only available are the top Altcoins that is found in crypto market sites.
If only this App can be synchronize almost every Cryptocurrency then it would be probably better than Blockfolio that which I am currently using today.

Nope. It doesn't provide private key directly but it provides a 18-word phrase which can generate the private keys. It's called BIP-44 protocol and has been used by some other wallets, such as coinomi, jaxx, block chain, etc. So the 18-word phase is like your private key .
It's compatible with 57 ERC20 coins now, and we will support it to be compatible with all ERC20 coins in the future versions. Please stay tuned :)

About the security issue. Usually the wallets where ethereum were hacked, such as the parity or another one are called "Cloud wallets", which means they store your ethereum in their server, and all of your private keys are stored there. Parity is an example of that. Hackers made use of its smart contract vulnerability and all private keys got stolen. It's hard to manage all the private keys in one place by one team, which makes the risk much higher.

Other ETH wallets like BitUniverse in-built wallet are called "Local light wallet". All the public keys and private keys are stored only on your device. When doing transaction, only encrypted private keys but not your original private key were sent, which ensures the disconnection between your private keys and the networks.

BitUniverse in-built wallet also utilizes BIP-39 and BIP-44 protocol, and realized standard Hierarchical Deterministic Wallet(https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Deterministic_wallet (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Deterministic_wallet)) with a 18-word phrase. Ethereum's BIP-32 Derivation Path is m/44'/60'/0'/0.

To protect the security of your phrase and private keys, we also encrypt your phrase with the pin code you set at the first time you want to use our wallet. The encrypted file is stored in the internal storage of your device, which cannot be fetched unless the device is rooted. Even if anyone can get your encrypted file, they wouldn't know your phrase or private keys without your pin code.

Thanks for providing us some advice. Actually, we have some budget, but we want to make sure our product can attract someone seed users, which would approve our app is good. Then we'll pay more to get more users :)

Sounds interesting, but there are as many apps available as you have. What are the advantages of the apps you create? So we have good reason to use BitUniverse.

Ok after 1-2 years of good progress and no scam detection i will try it. There a some many scams nowadays

I first heard about the BitUniverse and I hope that the development will benefit the owners of crypto currency. Only need to make a good advertisement so that users start using this wallet.

What is the main reason why we should try and to use this wallet compare to the old myetherwallet ?

I guess it will be hard to compete with MEW.
They have been the most reliable since I first came to know about ETH.
That could not be changed easily.
MeW have been populated and they want that.
They can easily target addresses by means of research.
