Title: Synchronisation stuck
Post by: z5 on December 20, 2017, 10:57:11 AM
Hello there,

One Electrum Wallet is stuck synchronizing since days.
I should recieve multiple payments on the wallet, but just one arrived and the rest is fixed with an +0 and it's not possible to see the details.

All transactions are confirmed in the blockchain.

As other ppl mentioned in threads like this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1960448.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1960448.0)) I tried the following:

1. Unchecking the automatic server search and search manually.
-> Did not work, everytime I choose a server by myself, I loose the connection and recieve a red dot.

2. Restore the wallet with the seed.
 -> Did not work either.

3. Sweep the private keys to a new wallet in the same electrum client.
-> The client worked for 10 seconds and did not react. Afterwards, nothing happend - the same procedure.

I really hope you guys know some more solutions I could try.

Can I import my private electrum keys to other bitcoin clients like bitcoincore ? Could that be a solution ?

Thanks in regard,

z5

I faced a similar issue, each time I was checking "Proxy" tab, It was set to SOCKS5 while It had to be "NONE" otherwise It won't be able to connect. I'm not sure but I guess this was triggered by my VPN. If that doesn't work then yes, importing the private keys to another wallet is fine.

Hi! I ran into the same issues... however, this helped me:
- backup seed
- delete electrum and (hidden) wallets from computer
- install latest version 3.0.3
- create new wallet from existing seed.

Hope this works for you!

Got my coins back!

-> I tried to use electrum on another OS - now on Windows 10, before on Linux.
I cannot tell what caused this problem, but I appreciate your help guys!

Thanks a lot!
