Title: Anyone interested in a modular case for their Klondike K-16 boards?

I'm trying to determine if there is a demand for an open-air (or an enclosed) case designed specifically for housing multiple Klondike K-16 boards.

Obviously, these wouldn't be appropriate for a datacenter.  Will there be many K-16s running in a home environment?  How do you plan on cooling the boards?  Would the use of a non-traditional fan be acceptable (i.e. a standard 20-inch box fan)?

Like the K-16s, this case would be completely modular, easily growing as more boards are acquired.

I wouldn't mind seeing a open air case for the k16 :)

there definitely is demand.. But lets get a mockup design first, I dont think people know what they want until they see something in front of them.

The design of the tray is completely wide open at this point.  It could be as simple as a wall of boards, all cooled by a simple box fan:

Or something more modular.  This design is expandable in every dimension:

You could mount boards on both sides of that center "blade."  

The use of t-slot extrusions removes all possible issues with board size, separation, connectors, etc. because the entire case/tray is almost completely adjustable.

The "modular blade" idea could even be used inside an enclosed case, where when blades are added, the spacing between blades could be easily adjusted for optimal cooling.

I am so buying a case from Spotswood.  I need to house eighteen K16's, one BitBurnerX (10 chip board), and one BitBurnserXX.  According to the designs on his site, it would also be very easily integrateable with the guts of my GPU rig, yet still house two power supplies.  His modular casing options are very fairly/competitively priced.
