i cannot understand, why you all are that passive at the moment. I know alot of you bitcoin fanboysforever will tell me: oh its just another dump, bitcoin will stand up again, its normal, its so volantible, its going like this for years...

I am holder of a lot of Bitcoins, not a single BCC, because i hate it. Right now a small group of bad guys destroying Bitcoin for making BCC the new lead. We have to fight against it just now with every single coin. Sell all your BCC, buy BTC and help yourself to make our future bright and wealthy again!

All of the people who will be shouting against BCH won't hold any so they're completely powerless to be able to do anything. They can buy bitcoin and boost that but they can't do anything against BCH.

This is the same game that has always been happening since bitcoin cash got released, why are you so worried about it? I just dont care, i have some bitcoins on my harware wallet and that is enough for me, we all know that bitcoin will recover back to the top sooner or later, so you dont need to worry about this mess.

Act about what? Bitcoin cash will not do anything on the market, it's just a moment that it seems it has the future and potential but this will not last for long. Just a moment of glory. Bitcoin cash will not replace bitcoin, few followers are just dreaming about it but things will settle down very soon so don't worry about it.

Its even right for you to hold what you believe in based on the interpretation you give to things but you don't expect everybody to accept your opinion has the rightful way to go about things. If you say we should fight against BCH, how exactly do we do that? Should we start buying BCH then dump (who will cover the loses?) or start selling what we don't have. Or maybe we should start buying bitcoin in other to increase the price but where will the fund to do that come from. The most important is that time will tell.

There's another below average IQ individual exposing their dumbness on btctalk. What is your problem?/ Are those buying BCH using your money. You are a toxic individual. Move on, stop wasting your energy on something you claim to not care about.

In fairness to the BCC crowd, they wanted to do on-chain scaling together, with everyone involved.  But too many people disagreed about that, so they left of their own free will and did it alone by themselves.  They left you in peace to do what you want, while they did what they wanted, completely apart.  Sounds fair to me.  But now people want to bitch about that too... for reasons.  You can't have it both ways.  Neither side was willing to compromise and two competing chains is the result.  I suggest you learn to live with that because it's not going to change.  Either you're happy that they left, in which case that's the end of it, or you're not happy that they left and you're powerless to fix it.  So do what you want with your own funds, but leave everyone else alone to do what they want with theirs.  

Bitcoin cash is crap, i dont know why there are some people selling their bitcoins to just buy bitcoin cash, seriously, it does not even make sense! It is obvious that they are just bad people trying to make money from nothing!

All those who are still buying this coin will suddenly regret in a few months when bitcoin skyrocket again.

The pattern is really strange this time. BCC is moved by a strong background support which doesn't seems to be stopped anytime soon. Also bitcoin's slow network and high transaction fees fueled the growth of BCC. We need to first look at bitcoin network which seems to be flooded with unusual volume of transactions. A lot of people would love to support bitcoin over BCC but the network isn't supporting that effort. Bad times coming.

Actually we could use more news coverage about BCash being an altcoin and not the real Bitcoin.

Now they lure newbies (and speculators!) into their world of manipulation, some will fall for this.
I believe that they are the ones also orchestrating the spam attack the network is facing lately.

I'm relatively new (2 months) and a macro-speculator.  Definitely falling for this FUD

Any of them to be concerned with as far as affect on total market or something similar to BCH/BCC?  Could any of them actually have potential to distrupt the market.

Cashed in all my BCH at around $1500 so I can’t help to do anything about this. It is beginning to get annoying now though.

I don't see what the problem is. Bitcoin is gold, and Bitcoin Cash is the US dollar - they can both live together in the new economy.

I don't believed that the fan boys are passive. Like most of us here, we are waiting in line to buy bitcoin at dip because its cheap. I'm sure a lot of them have already buying and accumulate bitcoin at this price. Just wait and see, bitcoin has already recovered but I'm sure we can still push it to $19,000-$20,000 before the end of the year.


I'm not also into Bitcoin Cash. However, its pretty obvious that this is just another attack on Bitcoin that will go to drain once more. It has Jihan And Roger name all over it. They have attempted this action before, and believe me, they won't succeed. Bitcoin Cash will crash once more, leaving a lot of newbies scratching their head and didn't knew what happen. A lot of FUD is going around the social media and I think its very effective because the price is going up like 70%. But it won't last long. Lightning Network will be coming to the rescue and relieved the issues that we are facing right now. Nevertheless, this is going to be a constant battle. Bitcoin Cash will do everything at their disposal to overthrow the King.

At first I thought this post was finally one against Bitconnect, not Bitcoin Cash. Although I understand the reasoning for the confusion. Bitconnect should be fought against though  ;D

If you are than bent on waging war and acting like a child do the same as Ver&Co and go and start spamming the BCH blockchain. Since they accept even low fees transactions you can add 1gb per day with a few $.

It seems that the capitalization of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash will be equal and the price will be 10,000 dollars for each. Why sell Bitcoin Cash and buy Bitcoin if you need to do the opposite?

Bcash is a centralized shitcoin with most nodes coming from Alibaba servers, mining being heavily centralized by just a few pools, dev team is barely active and consists of a few noname people, which means there will be bugs and some people will lose their coins eventually, and all the Bcash support comes from trolls with fresh accounts and brainwashed fools who believe in conspiracy theories about Core and retarded lies that SegWit removes signatures from transactions. Meanwhile, their scaling vision is to bump the blocksize to gigabytes and replace decentralized p2p network of nodes with centralized servers, essentially turning it into PayPal.

Bcash is an attack on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, it's not an alternative vision. If you want cheap transactions, use Litecoin, it is relatively well tested, was around for years and has honest developer instead of cons and scammers that represent Bcash.

I'm Bitcoin Hodler, how I can fight against Bitcoin Cash. I already sold all my BCH and I'm not planning to buy it, despite price increase and advantages against orginal Bitcoin. We - small fishes can't affect market much. It's a game of whales who hold big amounts of coins and they can manipulate market. We are only spectators in this game. BCash will not win this war.

personally, i lost the will to fight after the UASF drama this past summer. i'd been fighting big blockers (here and on social media) for two years already. then all of a sudden, people who i considered friends began promoting an incompatible fork (BIP148) on a 2-month timeline, and they tried to coerce me into running BIP148 against my will under the threat of a wipeout attack (massive chain reorg).

now i'm a purely rational actor. i only care what the market does, and i'm damn good at hedging my portfolio. and yes, that means i doubled my trading account flipping BCH yesterday while those same BIP148 supporters were hysterically angry and fearful of BCH's rise in price.


good on you, i guess. but you're expecting people to be irrational. i think BCH has terrible fundamentals, but i don't fight the market. in a way, it's good that i felt so betrayed by the bitcoin community back in july. now i am a battle-hardened and purely rational. emotions and bias will only hurt you in the world of trading and investment.

hmmn you really didnt need all that explosion cause bitcoin has a very high popularity rate no one talks of cryptocurrency without first including bitcoin so it will take other some hard work and time to get to that level or even surpass bitcoin

Agree with this mate. The BCH community is doing what they want. It is the people's choice what they want to do. It might be that BCH is getting pumped right now by some groups but it depends on us whether we have to take part in the pump or not. If you are not much of a supporter of BCH or don't like pump and dumps then you should not enter into it as well. Let others do what they want. Right now BCH is skyrocketing and Bitcoin is going down because of it's own issues. BCH is taking advantage of the situation and making good gains. Lets see what more time shows us.

Even thou your comment was answer on some other comments I needed to quote just you cause I completely agree with you. Everyone should care about personal portfolios, we can`t fight against whales and bears and what ever, just look at the market and follow if you can. Emotions on a side this game needs to be played with cool head. What ever people say here or anywhere about bitcash it seems that market is accepting it other way. In past week bitpay, coinbase and others start to accept bitcash and price went up, bitcoin down. Have both wait and sell when you make enough profit, play rational and don`t be greedy.

I'm holding some BCH because why not?  It has a ton of 'press' and hype and has been rocketing.  I would so the same with pretty much any coin.  At some point I will probably sell down to 25% of my current BCH and that conversion will be to BTC.  BTC is the backbone - I'm not abandoning it, but I will shift my funds to where they can get a quick return.  

I honestly don't think this is necessary. This has been a one sided battle in the past. Sure, Bitcoin Cash has been steadily gaining relevance, but the fact of the matter is that Bitcoin still dwarfs it quite significantly. People only ever consider Bitcoin Cash whenever Bitcoin's network gets congested. It has nothing otherwise. Less security, less users, smaller community. All it has is a less congested network. It's also worth noting that it can't handle that much more transactions over Bitcoin and that it can't keep on increasing the block size as demand grows.

I don't hold any Bitcoin Cash but if you think this is necessary, then by all means. I am of the opinion that Bitcoin Cash is a dead end altcoin and that it's only a matter of time before it's rendered obsolete.

sorry to burst your bubble but the way the world works is that people only care about more money and how they can make it. at the end of the day they are not controlled by emotions of "not being a sheep" but they are controlled by the emotions of "BCH is getting pumped lets buy it" and then dumping it for the profit on top.

why do you think the bitcoin.com owner publicly said he sold his BTC for BCH before the pump began? and what  do you think he is going to dump BCH for when the pump is over?

Half of them I didn't hear of, the other half are hyped clones (shitcoins) with major speculation, which don't really bring anything into the ecosystem.
But "projections" is a big word. I can't tell the moves of the pumpers and speculators. Many have already "invested" money into some of these coins just to feed their teams with more money for publicity.
Normally this cycle will break and fall apart at some point. But this is not a normal world, it's a speculating world, so I just don't know when.

Where I can get comprehensive guide how to trade cryptocurrencies. I was surprised when did not find any understandable manuals - what softawer to install, how to put real money in the account, how to send it to Exchange, how to do transactions, and then get money back.

Took one of the crypto Solaris, just as an example. Do not understand anything, no comments, no guide, just general representation.

Have already converted all but $10k worth of BCH to ETH and BTC.    Will hold on to that couple of coins for fun.   It's free money anyway.   

It's really stupid on the part of Coinbase and any other organisation which resort to moving to integrate Bitcoin cash into their system. A so called forked coin run by a bunch of criminals who control over 51% of the mining power for obvious reasons, I'm waiting for the day when it topples over and all the so called believers end up loosing their money when it plummets down to being valueless. Only then will everyone realise it was all part of a big scam run by criminals.

This is a call for a waking up to bitcoin holders but as you can see people have now many options as to what kind of cryptocurrency they will hold. They also have their reasons for shifting into bitcoin cash. If you look at bitcoin the transaction fees are high and the confirmation takes forever. This just means that bitcoin is already overloading. People shifting into other coins is also a good thing to bitcoin that way the congestion in bitcoin will be lessen.

I agree with you, all of bitcoin holder needs to be brave and just use bitcoin as a profit matter and investment. But all of this will be hard to achieve because people have greed. Greed consumes us and makes us want to make a big profit in a short time, no matter what happen, everyone will always follows thw market flows and make the most of it, without thinking of other things. So in the end, we need a leader and gather as a whole pack of bitcoiner and fight bcc (meh) or we will see the death of bitcoin (although after all this time, bitcoin never die and wont because bitcoin is the backbone of all coins)

I am not the fans of bch, and I think bch is not going to take over bitcoin market, so just chill out, the bitcoin users is way more than bch, the real action that we can do is keep on promote and asking people to invest in bitcoin

Having some other coins to be the top is normal, but you should not think that Bitcoin can be replace by one of them. Bitcoin is the main crypto and will be never replaced by other coins.

People saying the same thing about FIAT money... Nothing can replace it, well will see.

 IMO there is a chance to BTC won't success its mission. There are other coins with more advanced technology. If BTC won't have major technical developement, than it will be lost unfortunatelly.

Many people are now turning to Bitcoin cash because of sudden breakdown in bitcoin price as the panic selling mode attack in so many bitcoin holder we cannot prevent them since every single person here has the right to choose whether to keep bitcoin or convert to BCC we have different opinions and everyone must respect that so if you trust bitcoin then continue holding otherwise leave it and go to BCC.

What exactly can we be doing to start acting . Telling about our views and acknowledging people about the bad effects of bitcoin cash is the only thing we can do right now . We cannot dump it or we cannot access others wallets in order to dump it . That is just insane . The hustle is insane . While maybe true, it is still not something that can be influenced by bitcoin holders only, holding bitcoin is not a prerequisite for being able to pass on correct information and educate newer persons that bitcoin cash is in fact not bitcoin. It would come as no shock to find that major bitcoin cash players are deliberately trying to overload the bitcoin network.

I have talked every time that every another bitcoin’s fork is weakening the Bitcoin itself. With the time we will see not a Bitcoin, instead we will see a conglomerate of forks with a word bitcoin as a part of full name.

Its really a tough time for bitcoin.On one side,thousands of transactions have got struck due to network congestion and very high fee.On the other side,BCH once again being pumped and most miners switching to it to get more profits.Also,too many forks yet to come continuously.At the same time,big financial firms like CME,CBOE issuing bitcoin futures which spiked bitcoin price to $20,000 and now suddenly dropping to $12,800 which is not good for bitcoin progress.Its only the bitcoin holders who had been holding it for a long time despite its market fluctuations make bitcoin survive continuously and newbies who just enter bitcoin market and fly away when seeing a small dip dos not contribute anything for the bitcoin.

On what exactly are you basing your comparison ? the only reason Bcash went up to 4k (already down to 2k now ) is because of the inser trading between Roger Ver and Coinbase which is illegal. Bcash won't even survive that long to compare it to bitcoin.

You want to listen to yourself because you have gone all religious and see BCC as Islam
and the number 666 in your eyes just because your betting that nothing can knock some of your
precious profits out of your pocket.

BTC has some competition.. it no longer owns a monopoly. In my opinion a project that has too many forks becomes a flawed one with a divided community which will only serve to end in failure.

BTC was designed by Satoshi Nakamoto to be a peer to peer cash distribution system. The project has failed in that objective and others are trying to stay true to the original vision.


The bottom line: The blockchain is revolutionary but humans are divisive and greedy. People want wealth and control and lose sight of the underlying objective...

BTC crazy transactions fees have got to come down or else everyone will be walking including myself.

I am not paying $30 in costs just to sent $0.50 in BTC to my new Jaxx wallet when i test it, no way and the
same goes when i test out shapeshift.

Very little of what BTC started out to achieve is working just now, it's not doing what it says on the box
and the Lightning network is just a sticking plaster that will create more problems than it solves as is
the case with the bloat block-chain and wasting effort on counting grains of sand to waste massive amounts of computing
power and electrical energy just some a machine can win a prize.

Come on by the time we are being charged gas for mere bytes of data when networks are measured in gigabytes then
something is very wrong.
