Bitfinex is the biggest exchange (as i knew) for cryptocurrencies with FIAT so am wondering who are the users of bitfinex and why should the compagny execute such a radical rule when procedure of verification (NYC) is still applicant for all traders?

It sound a bit extrange. Also I heard that bitfinex had problems with security, something about being hacked or people not able to withdraw deposits. Anyone knows?
