Title: have I lost my Bitcoin Cash via Multibit and Coinbase? Post by: daviddaviddavid on December 20, 2017, 10:48:40 PM Transferred my Bitcoin from Multibit 0.5.18 to Coinbase after Bitcoin Cash fork.
Thought I was going to get my Bitcoin Cash from Coinbase but now Bitcoin Cash is live on Coinbase, I've realised I was too late in moving it there. What do I do know? I still have access to my Multibit wallet but it's empty. If I export my private key from there and import it into a Bitcoin Cash-compatible wallet, will my Bitcoin Cash appear there even though I'm importing an empty wallet? Export them and import into a BCH wallet like ElectronCash.
For the record, you're not importing an "empty wallet". The private keys may not have BTC, but on BCH blockchain they have BCH ;) Title: Re: have I lost my Bitcoin Cash via Multibit and Coinbase?
