Title: Why are certain transactions not visible on blockchain.info?
Post by: bitcoinz777 on December 21, 2017, 01:51:00 AM
For example I noticed this transaction is not visible on blockchain.info:

4c26a54af671b4b86cebe648134fd3e4f05634cf3b86523c17882d416b28ebb0

But if you look on blockcypher, blockchair, oxt.me, etc. it's visible?

Blockexplorers like Blockchain.info have their own mempool and transaction index list. For unconfirmed transactions like the one stated, they are stored in the mempool. As with other nodes, each individual mempool have their list of rules and they accept only transactions which fits those rules in their mempool.

The most common reason for the discrepancy is with the rules, more specifically the minimum fee for it to be accepted. The transaction has too low of a fee for it to meet Blockchain.info's requirement. It doesn't mean that it wouldn't be confirmed. Once its confirm, it would appear on all of the blockexplorers.
