Title: [warning] Ether Delta Hacking
Post by: tomwalsh on December 21, 2017, 02:07:48 AM
Ether delta just had its domain name hacked and the site was/is re-routing to a phishing website, don't use the current site.

Has anyone been effected by it?

But ether delta is a distributed exchange isn't it?

They didn't gain access to any ether delta servers they just got a hold of the domain name and we routing it to their own etherdelta website lookalike. If you use metamask they have now blocked the website until its resolved.

There's instructions here on how to manually withdraw your funds from Etherdelta if you're concerned about leaving them in your exchange account: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/7l46ng/alert_ether_delta_hacked/
