Title: rx580 power draw and EVGA 1600 watt psu Post by: joshuajones02 on December 21, 2017, 04:56:27 AM How much of a power draw does 1 rx580 have from its PCIe cable and would it be too much of a load to power 2 GPU's from 1 cord from an EVGA 1600 watt psu.

The 6 pin PCI-e power connector is capable of handling 3 +12 volt wires x 4.16 amps each = 150 watts maximum wattage. Two cards on one PCI cable might start a fire as it overheads. The RX580's have a heavy power draw. |
