Title: [PSA] B3 Avalons - Make sure you check PSUs before running! Post by: dogie on July 25, 2013, 01:14:06 PM Just took delivery of a fresh B3. Plugged it in, all fine. Then I smelt hot components (being a dog).
Turns out the fan on the Enermax 850 included was dead. It was free to spin, just wasn't doing so. I'm sure there is some sort of thermal protection on these units, but is it worth the chance?
