I have one reference 5870 fan with the narrow clip (most fans come with fat clip, wont work for 5870). Works great, I have used many of these fans for replacing bad fans in 5850/5870/5970's, also works for 6950/6970/6990 and 7970s. Here's what I need to replace on the 5870. I notice its a slightly different model than yours. All blower type fans of that size are more or less interchangeable as long as the pinout, screw holes, and fan size are the same.
