Title: I am new and I have some doubts
Post by: Rhoser on December 21, 2017, 06:42:15 PM
Hi, I’m new in the world of the cryptos and since a few weeks I have been reading and trying understand better how works all this. Until a few days ago I decided to make my first investment of 50 usd, it isn’t much but I think that is enough for my first investment and also I think that I can have a profit.

I am doing this publication because before buying the cryptos doubts have arisen me.

1_  As I'm only going to invest  50 usd I am going to invest in only one crypto,  my question is that I do not know if the crypto that I chose is a good investment in short/medium term. The crypto that I chose is maidsafecoin, I would like you to tell me if it is a good crypto or if you would recommend me another crypto.

2_ If I wanna buy maidsafecoins, can I buy it in usd or first I have to buy bitcoins and then buy de maidsafecoins?

3_ Which wallet and exchange would you recommend me for save and buy bitcoins?

4_ Which exchange would you recommend me for buy altcoins like maidsafecoin?

I await your answers and thank you for read the post.

I never heard the coin youve mentioned above but i can help your understand how it works you need technical analysis which will serve you as a signal to which coin you will be trading in short period of time,$50 isnt much yes but it is better than nothing,i recommend the bittrex exchange you can try signing up,you need to buy btc first using usd then buy altcoins using btc.

by the way investopedia is a good start to learn, watch videos in youtube if you didnt get the lessons from investopedia.

1) No one would be able to tell you whether your choice is going to work out. This is difficult to predict even for bitcoin, and alts are even more unpredictable.

2) You are probably better off purchasing btc or eth first, so that you can trade it for maidsafecoins later on.

3) I have myceliumwallet for btc, happy with it so far.

4) I'm happy with binance so far, but I'm not sure whether they offer maidsafecoins.

i think maidsafecoin is good for long term investments, but i see and i hope you already make a research in Maidsafecoin before you choose it.
before you buy maidsafecoin you should have a bitcoin, you can buy bitcoin on coinbase or in your local exchange
then, the safe exchange to buy MAID is poloniex and bittrex

1) take some time to do your own research about this coin and if you think its profitable then go for it because no one can surely tell you about any coin whether it is profitable or not.

2) you have to purchase BTC or ETH first in order to buy maidsafecoin.

3) there are alot of wallets available just select the one you like.

4) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/maidsafecoin/#markets (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/maidsafecoin/#markets)  go here and you will find the exchange that offer to buy or sell maidsafecoin you can deposit your btc their and purchase your coin.

You should not keep your usd in just one coin, This is too risky with the current market situation

First, I haven't heard of it. It's probably a scam.
Second, most of the time you need to buy BTC through USD, then you can buy the currency you want on the exchange.

1 unfortunately about this coin, almost did not hear anything, but since it is traded on such serious exchanges, the potential for sure is

2 Read below

3 I buy and sell through a telegram bot, buy a better lightcoin, when transferring to a stock exchange, a small commission compared to bitcoin. And on the stock exchange already buy bitcoin and then your altcoin @LTC_CHANGE_BOT

4 Among the presented for the maidsafecoin, I would give preference to the Bitrex exchange

The concept looks interesting but this seems like a very weird investment specially for a newcomer.

After searching stuff on the internet what I understand is that Maidsafecoin is a temporary coin built on the Bitcoin blockchain. It acts like a coloured bitcoin. But this is not the real coin. The real coin is safecoin and when safecoin is launched your maidsafecoins are exachanged for safecoins. Safecoin works without a  blockchain so it is different from maidsafecoin.

First, congratulations on your venture in the system. Second, even if you only invested $50 as a start, it can still generate profit for you. I invested even smaller in my first trade but it gave me great profit! The popular exchange in my opinion is Bittrex. There are other exchanges...just search. God bless.

It's not neccesary that this is a scam. The concept seems interesting to me. They want to create a coin without using the Blockchain.

But what is weird is their intermediate method of issuing another coin on bitcoin blockchain before actually launching their real coin. Why not just create the product and release it like a normal ICO?

All this information you need can be found on coinmarketcap, where all coins are listed. Kindly check the coins you have invested in it. I think is a good coin. But if you check it on coinmarketcap, you can find the market or exchange where you can buy and sell it. If the exchange that trade your coins accept fiat then you can make deposit direct, if not then you purchase bitcoins and convert it.

The best wallet for bitcoins is Bitcoin Core . It provide network transactions, and also allows you to create a special bitcoin address to send and receive bitcoins, and also save the private key of yours.
