Is yobit got hacked? Why is it possible to top exchanger like yobit can get hacked? Is this the security like DNS attacked?
Anyway, i just plan to put money in yobit but i think i have to cancel it since this problem.

There is always a possibility of an exchange getting hacked, we've seen it happen to many already. Sometimes insider jobs even.

Im sure insider wouldn't do that. their name will be negative forever in the trader POV.
If they want to steal some coin they should do it once and forever.

yobit's users lost about 25% of their coins.

and not only yobit got hacked this month, mining platform NiceHash did too.

Hacks are happening fast and are proving hard to keep up with. Someone please make a website "bitcoinhacks.com" and keep it updated as a reminder for people to keep their private keys safe

what ?? yobit too. geez to many market and exchanger got hacked this month even mining site too. So the conclusion is never store your token or coin in exchange except you want to trade it. just keep it at your personal wallet where you have its private key, always be safe we never know what gonna hapend next

Haven't you seen about the mtgox case and there is a lot of similar case that was impossible to did from outside. I meant that caused by the internal of the exchange itself. Just like bitfinex case that makes a lot of people are loosing a lot of money. If you are still thinking if that was not possible and you may need to recorrect it again.

Do you mean youbit or yobit? Maybe they are the same but been spelled in a different way. I saw a post youbit has been hacked twice and not yobit and as a result youbit said they are shutting down the exchange.
If you mean yobit, my bad experience with them is depositing of a coin about 4weeks now and yet to get it on the trading wallet gave to me on my yobit account.

I think you are confusing Yobit with Youbit, a Korean exchange which got hacked a few days ago and it is now filing for bankruptcy.  Yobit exchange sent out a tweet on twitter to clear up the confusion that they were not the ones who got hacked.  You can read up about it here:   https://twitter.com/YobitExchange/status/943099432878399488

I ‘m glad that I quit Youbit platform before the ahck attack. Most of the time I used their InvestBox where I save my money and get some percent. But with the time the rules changed on the platform that I couldn’t use InvestBox anymore.

It's YouBit (not Yobit) that was hacked, and from what I'm understanding, YouBit has filed bankruptcy and are only allowing user to withdraw 75% of their coins ... the other 25% will have to go through bankruptcy proceedings and you may get some of those back, eventually.  Perhaps not likely though, once the lawyers are done.

If a decentralized exchange like ED can be hacked yobit is no great exception. But what has just happened is somewhat different, its Yubit or maybe Youbit exchange that has been hacked and not the yobit. Yobit is a comparatively larger exchange when compared to Youbit. But yes its an utter possibility of any exchange going hacked.

This is why i dont store tokens and coins to exchanges, they are very vulnerable to hackers.

Unless you are day trading and constantly moving your coins around it is highly advisable not to store your coins on exchanges long term and also you need to beef up your security and use 2 factor authentication in as many places as you can and when you trade. Try not to be slack when it comes to security cyber and otherwise as there are some very dark elements in crypto, as there are in real life, who want to take everything you own and are brutal and do not care about other's wealth or well being unfortunately.
